CyanogenMod MOD 4.2.4 + BlackBars (David1171) MOD

Hi, i modified CyanogenMod 4.2.4 (rom) and Black notifications Bars (mod) by David 1171 for personal use. I want to share with you my (little) work, obviously i take no credits, because these are only little mods.
If you like, simply apply first Cyanogenmod then (after rebooted), reboot another time and apply Black Bars Mod

File Sharing
Since these files are legal to distribute, why not create and host a torrent, and everyone can share with everyone else?
This sounds like exactly what bit torrent was designed for, sharing files amongst a large group of users.

Not sure if you're gonna keep up on this or not, but I will definitely be following if you are.
you should look into throwing in the new icons from Android 2.0 theme for:
Spare Parts
Dev Tools
Voice Dialer
Voice Search
Settings
Maybe look into adding Advanced Launcher?
Anyways, thanks again for sharing this with us! Your work is greatly appreciated. I just love the look of the black. especially on a black g1...makes the screen blend more with the phone and it looks a little bigger.

Sorry, but i'm waiting for Theme Community Hero's new version, after that i'll change something (folders, lower bar etc.) and if you want i can share my work. I've done little modifications in all previous versions of that nice theme because i prefer little lower bar and white folders (and other things)

as far as i am aware, it only comes in a 4x2 (or whatever, 2x4, its 9am and i haven't gone to bed yet) with the "flip clock" look.

Hello,
I've a 4.2.4, why i must reflash the whole rom and not only the black bars mod? I explain: i need only a black bars, not the modified menu.
So, if i flash the black bars the mod works or...

[APP][THEME] MIUI-like Battery Bar : BaBar

If you like the linear battery bar of the MIUI rom, there is an app for that for your stock rom : BaBar (market link here).
This app is very "young" so we can expect some updates from the dev.
Currently, you can set the bar position (top/bottom), show the percent (on/off), and change the "alpha" color of the bar.
Maybe in the future, we can change the color of the bar...

This theme is for use with ROMs that expose the RRO (layers) code. If you don't know what that means, this theme probably isn't for you.

I believe Cataclysm is an RRO ROM.
Please not though, all 5.1 ROMs are incomplete compared to 5.0.x because they don't yet have the ambient display invert commits added, so expect some problems on 5.1

No, you need an RRO compatible rom. Usually AOSP.

Yep, I re-uploaded it yesterday with a better icon padding configuration to work better on 720p

Awesome work, no issue on OnePlus One with SlimLP rom, there is just an icon missing for Mobile Networks but all the others are here (and that's the first Layer I tried that has them all - 1)

All the .zip files in this thread are free and will replace all the default Roboto fonts in your device. Root is required before proceeding. These zips have been tested to work on my stock 5.1.1 first-gen Nexus 7. These *should* work on any Lollipop-running devices. There are no lockscreen bugs for these zips! They haven't been done to flashable zips by anyone else

I have the original SF otf fonts, both UI & Compact with their respective display, text, and rounded variants. You should have used UI Display in your SF font, as imo it looks way better than compact for a phone. I use Compact as my condensed font.
By themselves, the fonts aren't very practical to use. The UI Display variant's letter-spacing is too small in smaller types, while UI Text's letter-spacing is too wide.
What Apple does is the font's characteristics change depending on the type. The default font is UI Text. For fonts larger than 19pt, the system swaps the typeface to the Display variant.
The tracking is also size-specific, which they don't do by themselves and have to be modified by the system. If we want to use the font without modifying them, we have to live with the non-standard tracking on them.
edit: i decided to use San Francisco UI Text again and scaled the letterspacing down to San Francisco's standards on my system. I also changed any styles that use sizes larger than 20sp to use the display variant along with a scaling larger letterspacing along with enabling the discretionary ligature.

Hello Endramp,
This is not a theme this is a systemui mod and this only works on .87 lollipop firmware.

The clock and date in quick settings a bit ugly, are you working on that?

i have a question, what you add into systmeui for batery percent in quicksettings section? .. and your problem. try give a look on your wifi/signal icons, your gap can make some space on sides of your icons "pictures", (i mean try cut excess space on the sides of signal/wifi icon)

AOSP systemui have brightness bar so I will not remove it. If your talking about gap between wifi and signal icons, I am working on it(no solution till now). I will try to change max no. of quick settings to 6 in my next update.
