I am looking for a "howto" to describe how I can set up my XIAOMI Redmi 4X to run 24/7 without a battery. I mean the micro-usb connector will cut off and the red and black cable will be connected inside of the Redmi 4 X instead of the battery. Howto. Any advices, instructions, tipps on that? Thanks for a reply.

I'm thinking on buy a Qualcomm Quick Charger 3.0 to use with my Redmi 4X
But I'm worried about the battery health in long term. Isn't it bad for the battery?
Anyone been using a Quick charger on this device?

I think the battery will quickly heat up, and high temperatures could affect battery life. Just my perception, because by default R4X does not support QC 3.0
But I do not know if using mods are provided developers xda. Maybe it can minimize it.
Sorry my bad English

hi, i have a Xiaomi Mi5s with damaged charging port so I´m unable to charge my battery. My question is: is it possible to connect a mi5s battery to a xiomi redmi note 3/4 battery connector just to charge my mi5s battery and if it is, is it dangerous to connect a battery to a device it´s not ment for regarding the same manufacturer?
Hello everyone
I wanted to know if I can charge my Redmi k20 pro/ Mi 9t pro which support fast charging with my ThinkPad laptop charger with 65W?
they both have type C charging port but I was worried not to fry my phone or damage it in the long run with respect to my phone's battery.
Need Help!!:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

Yes, the phone supports USB-PD, which is what the laptop charger will be using to charge. Although the charger can provide 65W, it will only deliver a maximum of 27W to the phone, as that's what the phone will communicate is its maximum.

type c connector have nearly identical pins on both sides most probably there is broken pin in your device port on one side. replacing that port will ix the issue or keep using as it is.

Hello,
I recently purchased an open boxed K60 and have been using the MDY-12-EH charger along with an orange-tinted cable to charge it. However, I've noticed that it only displays "MI TURBO CHARGE" without indicating the expected 67W charging speed. Moreover, it takes over an hour to go from 0% to 100%. I attempted to use my Samsung cable as an alternative, but unfortunately, it didn't resolve the issue.
The seller assured me that both the charger and cable were included in the original packaging, but I have my doubts. I was wondering if anyone has encountered a similar problem and might have any insights or suggestions to share.
Edit: Both my charger and cable are fake. I had to buy a genuine kit.
Use an app like Ampere to measure how fast it charges.
Also try to buy a Xiaomi cable that is certified to use 67w.

Ampere doesn't show voltage so it's useless.
I did some research and looks like my charger and cable are both fake. I'll try to buy a genuine kit.
Not sure, the Xiaomi reference is MDY-12-EJ, the last letters must correspond to the region.
The fast charge works from 0 to 80%. (variable with temperature).

The 120w charger of my 11 t pro has exactly the same layout in terms of logos and texts and that of the original 67w like yours and plug is orange.
