Having an odd problem with the Play Store blocking Disney+ and Netflix (probably others but these are the two I noticed) with "Device not compatible" notices. Here is the odd part, settings shows the device being certified and safety net is passing. I can get them to show and work normally if I do not set the ro.product.model to another device and safety net fails.
Device config 1:
Magisk Canary
Build rd1a.201105.003.c1
Magisk Hide enabled
no custom ro.product.model
Result:
Safety net CTS profile fail with hardware attestation (expected)
Play Store shows device not certified (expected)
Disney+ and Netflix are available and function normally
Device config 2:
Magisk Canary
Build rd1a.201105.003.c1
Magisk Hide enabled
ro.product.model set to Pixel 4
Result:
Safety net pass with basic attestation
Play Store shows device is certified
Disney+ and Netflix claim they are not compatible with the device
This behavior can be reproduced by altering settings and clearing the Play Store storage. I have been able to work around the issue by not clearing Play Store storage after applying the custom build prop to satisfy Safety Net. It still says the device is not certified but does not block Disney+ or Netflix.
Is anyone else seeing this behavior?
Any thoughts?
I am currently facing the same issue. I didn't root my device though. I am currently using Pixel 5 port rom on the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max (Miatoll) and Netflix shows incompatibility in the playstore for me. Any suggestions?

Nope no issues here. I'm also using magisk stable v23 not canary. Instead of using a custom build prop Use the universal safety net fix v2.1.1, hide magisk from all Google services. Then wipe data and cache for the play store. Eventually it'll catch up and you'll be good to go. You'll pass safety net and be certified and shouldn't have any of those issues
What version of Magisk are you using?
I had the same problem with Canary 23001 until I used MagiskHide on all components of Google Play Store, and again with Canary 23010+ until I used DenyList in the same way.
I'm using Canary 23015 with Universal SafetyNet Fix 2.2.0 and MagiskHide Props Config 6.1.2. SafetyNet passes. Play Protect doesn't say device is uncertified (doesn't say certified either). I'm able to install Netflix and Disney+ both (just confirmed).

Hi all,
Is there a module out there that will spoof my device as something like a OnePlus5 or S9? I would like to download some AR core apps but my OnePlus3 isn't on the certified hardware list. I managed to do this a while ago by editing my build.prop, but if there is a module for this it would be preferable. Thanks!
This one maybe:

Make sure you pass SafetyNet fully and that the Play Store reports certified.

Hello, I tried to switch to safetnet with Magisk 23.0 on my Galaxy note 9 device. But not every way worked. It recently got itself update 24.0 and hide option is gone. Now I downloaded the game I wanted with aurora apps, but this time, when you open the game, it transfers directly to the play store and asks for download via the play store. It is not possible because it is not certified. What is the solution to this?
My game name : İnfinity Flight

I can't watch netfilx in FHD . I have check drm version and it's show Widevine L3 . Does anyone have the solution for this ? How can I Fix it ?
If you are rooted I think you need Universal SafetyNet Fix magisk module.
Also try putting Netflix in DenyList.
Hi All
Im looking for an app - Using either root or not rooted to allow Starling Bank to be removed from the Play Store update list.
Starling is doing root detection and a workaround I found was to rollback to a very recent but previous version.
I want to be able to remove its links to the market a bit more permanently.
Currently - I use TiTB to do it but it only lasts between 6 and 24 hours. Auto update is off - Any ideas of a replacement?
Also it has to be usable on a Pixel 7 Pro. Fully rooted currently so cam quite flexible.
