How do I increase the percentage? I would like an alert when the battery reaches 20%, not 15%.

I don't think there is a way....on stock!

While charging, battery capacity percent gradually increases. But when is reaches to about 76%, it increase to 100% all of a sudden. Does this mean that I have to replace my battery?
I know this crazy question but here goes. I am doing the battery thing where you need to drain your battery until the phone shuts down. What things can I turn on to get my Battery Drain FAST? I told you it crazy.
Thanks
Turn on wifi, Bluetooth and turn ur brightness all the way up. Also turn on gas and then run a background that moves.

Thanks. I had phone at 35% and wanted to try to drain completely so I could Charge overnight.
Turn screen on full brightness and play angry birds while streaming music from Pandora at full volume.
Curious why you would want to drain fully just so you could charge overnight?
When you drain the battery and then recharge it completely, it helps increase the volume of the battery to help it last longer.
huh? I think you need to do some research on li-ion batteries.
I think.he might be trying to recalibrate his battery
I kinda thought that but the post regarding increasing capacity of the battery threw me.
it won't be XDA without ways to magically improve your battery life.

I'm pretty sure he was referring to calibration increasing phone uptime and accuracy of the battery meter, rather than actually increasing the battery's capacity.
Yes that's what I was trying to say. not the best at explaining

Hey guys
I have problem with battery
Now my battery 40% when left note sleep up to 3h i back i see battery 41%
I saw it with custom roms and stock i tried all kernels
And problems sometimes appear and sometimes no i tried wipe battery and
No diffrent
I want to destroy this problem for ever
Thanks alot.
No One Know How i can fix it ?
I don't think it's a bug.
I'm pretty sure it's just the way it estimates your battery percentage.
Here's how I think it works.
If you've been using your phone for, say, 3 hours straight, your phone calculates your drain rate like batt%/min or something.
And judging by how long you've used it for, it will estimate the approximate percentage of battery remaining.
When it's on deep sleep for a while, not only is the clock rate different (probably <200mHz at deep sleep), but the drain rate will change too.
The phone will re-estimate the battery percentage according to that new rate, hence the different (often higher) battery percentage, after a period of inactivity.
I could be completely wrong, but that's how I see it.
Thanks for ur Idea Brother
Any one have other Idea ?
I didnt get your problem....

Hmmm i mean My Battery sometimes up 1% with itself
Charge your battery overnight n Wipe your battery stats in recovery.

If Battery drain is your problem, try this-
Discharge your battery till it switch off automatically
Now connect your charger in switch off mode and charge it till the full.
Now after recharging it fully, unplug your charger from the socket.
Go to recovery mode and go to advance, wipe battery stats and restart your device.
HIT THANKS BUTTON,AS IT IS MANDATORY.

Brother my Battery Not Drain its Incrase 1% with itself on deep sleep
When my battery is getting low, I've started to notice recently that it never falls below 4%. Instead of counting down to 1% and shutting off, it just shoots down to 0% and immediately starts the "Power Off" screen. Is this normal? Anyone else's Nexus 6 do this?
I've seen the post about the Nexus 6 that would shut off at 73% consistently and I guess this could be related to a bad battery or calibration, but I was just curious.

I've only ran it down that far once and yes, it shut down at 3%
@j.bruha I assume you know this, but just in case - Li-Po batteries don't really do well with extremely low charge levels. Try to avoid depleting the battery charge level to anywhere close to 0. Most folks recommend keeping the battery level at 30% or higher for longer overall battery life (not the time that your battery lasts from charge to charge, but the number of months/years before you will need to replace the battery itself)
Mine goes all the way down to 1 % and shuts down. I can still use phone when it shows me 2% left. Never seen it shut down at 4%. Discharge battery and fully charge it, Sometimes it does help. good luck.

I think there's a lot of over thought about caring for batteries. I think the best advice is to charge it as it needs charging.
Li-Po batteries don't do well at extremely low charge levels. That's an understatement. They become physically volatile and very actually dangerous to use. This is why when you deplete your battery from 100% to 0%, you're actually discharging from 100% to something like 20%. The battery chip does not let the battery deplete fully and is calibrated to report that 20% as 0%. There really shouldn't be any harm letting the phone shut down at "0" because it isn't 0.
My phone shuts down at ~1% sometimes 2%. It has shut down at 3 once but it depends. I usually don't run my phone down that low, but if I do I expect it to turn off at some point. I would see if you can have it repeat the behavior so you know whether or not its a bug.
Most of the time phone is in same location where network signal is 50%, but still idle battery drain is very high >10% overnight. Any suggestions to avoid high idle battery drain?
Also the graph attached is from 95% to 16% but the total sum of usage in battery -> show full device is 68%, where was other ~11% used?

I have the same problem ! Overall the X4 is one of the better phones I have used but the battery is the bummer in standby. Overnight drain is > 10%
Could anyone please suggest what to do? My device is stock unrooted. And, I want to keep it that way. At least for now.
