It's there some way to change the CSC from VD2/VD2,VD2/EUX/VD2 to DBT? I tryed the method with the dialer, but it doesn't work.
I want to get the updates a little bit earlier as from the carrier.

hi guys i want change my csc code without root i tried by using odin but not working with me !
I have a duos N9208, carrier-locked. I also want to do the same. Can someone please answer the ff questions ?
1. How do I change the CSC without root or tripping knox?
2. Will I still get official updates once its successfully changed?
3. If I just flash directly a firmware from another country/region with the same model, will it trip the knox and can I still receive official updates?
If yes and successful, What was the way and which file did you use?
I am considering purchasing the Note 9 but it is an international variant. I was just wondering if there is a way to flash the UK firmware onto the phone without tripping Knox. The Note 9 is a SM-960F/DS I want to flash a SM-960F firmware onto the phone. Is this possible?
You can but It will always remain as DS which stands for Dual SIM

The firmware for SM-N960F is the same for SM-N960F/DS!
Dial *#1234# in dialer and look at the CSC line.
If it reads N960FOXM.... then you're on the multi-CSC OXM, if not then you're on a Carrier csc and to go to the OXM csc you'll need to do a factory reset and flash the oxm CSC firmware of your choice.
Check sammobile.com for SM-N960F and look for csc - N960FOXM....
It shouldn't trip knox since your flashing Samsung approved firmwares but there might be a very small, I mean very small, chance that it might. (If done correctly it should go without an issue with knox. Just given a little warning so take it with a grain of salt.)

One thing to add, when flashing and to ensure you are getting UK settings and so on is you must be having UK SIM cards in both slots when the mobile is restarting after the Odin flashing.
Else you will stay on the international setup

I got my new SM-G975F/DS and it is showing CSC as TPA/TPA, TPA/TPA, though I am using a US sim and an Indian sim. I flashed the latest INS firmware by ODIN and firmware download through Samfirm, but there is no change in the CSC. I used CSC file started with only CSC, not with the 'HOME_CSC'.
When tried to flash only CSC file though ODIN, I am getting an error (attached).
Is there any relation with the OEM_unlocking during flashing? I have NOT changed it from the default setting; if changed and flashed will it cause KNOX to be void?
I do not want to void my KNOX. Any help to change the CSC will be very helpful.
Update: I finally got the CSC updated. I took the risk of flashing the latest Firmware of desired CSC through ODIN by unlocking OEM_unlocking and it is done. Also, the KNOX is remaining valid.
Thank you.
Hi. I'm planning to buy S21 Ultra 5G at my trip. It is cheaper in there then my own country. I'm lucky, there and here using both Exynos SoC.
I was away from Samsung for a long time, as I remember Samsung was locking devices with CSC and Region based firmwares. That time Samsung Knox was not that expanded, as I see now it controls all system and builded top of it. I talked a bit now let me ask my question.
Is changing CSC blocks OTA? Or changing all firmware blocking OTA? I think odin is still around, Is using ODIN tripping Knox or blocking OTA? As I see Knox have 2 different fuse; one of them trips from custom firmwares&root other one trips from Odin with official firmware. Is that true? Actually my main question is, am I able to keep Knox untouched and OTAble after changing region.
Edit: It's not carrier locked.
Thank you.
csc transfer will not be blocked OTA if you transfer using samkey.
the use of odin for flash firmware does not trigger knox it is the custom recovery installation or root that triggers it.
Changing csc does not block OTA if you have not made any software modification (root & twrp).
Thank you for this post. Actually i have and exynos model too non carrier locked. My phone originally come in XSP firmware and service software provider is XSP too.. i have tried flashing XME firmware however that did not change my service software provider it's staying the same. I used odin to flash with.
