Between late July and august

I doubt it will be released for the Redmi 4X....

do not expect xiaomi to release miui 10 & oreo for remi 4x.
xiaomi famous for giving 1 major update per device.
redmi 4x already got it (marshmallow during launch to nougat).

Yes, there will be MIUI 10 for Redmi 4X, but we can't expect from this update to include Android version upgrade to Oreo. Most probably, all we'll receive will be some MIUI shell interface improvements.

its gonna be released in late July, but hey, Xiaomi does update devices more than once. I mean, look at Redmi 3S, which I had before, it was upgraded to MiUI 9 and now its gonna get 10 in August. Although probably its in the last batch cus theyre gonna stop updating it after MiUI 10 and it might still be on Marshmallow but yeah

China developer rom 8.12.27 was suspended for MI 8 and MI 8 SE, probably global developer was suspended too,

Is there any issue why they pull back this version? because I'm using xiaomi.eu rom 8.12.27 now and currently i don't faced any issue.

i have a Redmi Note 10 Pro on Firmware 12.0.2.0 RFKZAVC. seems other Redmi Note 10 Pro are on firmware 12.5..
can anyone help me with a link to a stock rom compatible with my device ? i know it's a global rom that i have but i can't seem to find any update for it

Thanks for the link but again it does not answer my question. No offense but i am not sure if you guys actually read the question. My current firmware is RFKZAVC , i know it's a global rom but the issue is the ZAVC part. i can't find any firmware with that specific name. can i just flash any global rom ? won't it brick the device ?

Yes !you can flash any global rom without bricking the device.Just be sure to properly follow the instructions.I have done this.Just flash the global version and you will be good to go.If you have more queries join @RedmiNote10ProDiscussion On telegram.People are more responsive there.Welcome to the community btw.

so if i read you correctly i can flash a fastboot global rom ? no need to unlock the bootloader ? and that won't brick my device ?

Yes exactly..but choose the file wisely .I suggest you watch a youtube tutorial for this.

it's not exactly as you explained . first of all the unlocked bootloader is compulsory (otherwise it'll brick the device)
then after that i can flash any fastboot global international rom ( obviously a version that is newer than the one i currently have on the device )

Bringing some MIUI functions into another ROM

Would it be possible to bring some UI features from the MIUI into the custom ROM? I would like to have a Redmi Airdots 3 Pro pop-up window so I could see my case battery level or the Mi Fit device distance option when unlocking the phone using a band. I'm thinking of getting a custom ROM as I'm sick and tired of the outdated MIUI (12.0.10), sh... RAM management (randomly closing critical apps like Google Dialer or the Messages app) and the visual glitches such as seeing the phone unlocked for a second after turning on the screen or the invisible app icons.

I'm stuck on the MIUI 12.0.10 QJOEUXM (EU - Slovakia) for 4 months since the phone came from the repair as it got bricked by the 12.0.9 update (bootlooping and lost everything), also I think the didn't flash the right ROM as I'm seeing functions as Active Display or the wrong the TWRP app reports completely different phone codename "gaugin" instead of the "merlin". Is there any good Recovery and a ROM for the merlin which has all functions working? Model: M2003J15SG

So, you will keep on outdated rom.

Will we get ported MIUI 14 for this device? I think it can be ported from Redmi Note 11T Pro+, it has smiliar dpi and has a MediaTek SoC.
