My Mi 9 Lite fell off display down. Just from 3 feet, but the impact sound was nasty.
There was a tempered glass and a silicon back cover which had a bit high edges. But the cement floor was not perfectly flat. The tempered glass already had cracks from a previous fall months ago. No new cracks observed.
I picked up the phone and pressed the power button. Unlock screen appeared as usual. Did not unlock as it was very dark. Did not try to unlock it and I thought it is fine.
I came back after an hour later, then the screen was gone. Not completely black, though. Top corners show some light. Battery life is displayed with purple / unusual color. Photo attached.

Incoming calls received. Touch screen probably not working.
The displayed area is becoming smaller with time. Couple of minutes ago I saw the whole wi-fi icon, but now it is hardly visible.
What happened?
How can it be fixed?
How can I back-up data into my PC?
Thank you very much!
the same thing happened to me yesterday...
have you managed to backup your data somehow?

Hello guys,
Recently I installed ZAGG's invisibleSHIELD original screen protector on my S6 Edge. I followed the instructions as mentioned (also watched the YouTube video by ZAGG). The installation was done ok , I think , and it sits pretty well on it and the edges are nicely attached. At first, there were a lot bubbles and gelly style texture. Today though, 48 hours after it , most of the bubbles have gone away (most but there are still some) but the problem is that it looks very wrinkled at an angle or when light hits it. It's miles away of a clean protector. (like some dry-installed that I installed on other phones that you can't tell they are on). So my question is, will these wrinkles go away and finally give it a clear look? Or I will have to deal with them from now on? The feeling of hand is not that bad, I can't feel the wrinkles but I can see them.
This is the protector I installed (picture not mine) :

hi i have JY joying 3066 for Toyota corolla 2008.
i time i started the car and the screen was white. i could still hear but could not see anything (full white backlight screen).
i had to go somewhere and had no time to fix it so after driving for about an hour - the screen came back to itself but the system did a hard reboot ( all settings was wiped).
since then all was fine for about 2 month and now it happened again.

I plugged it in 12V5A power in house for several hours to fix itself but it still stuck on white screen.
to be Clarify- white screen is also on boot logo and on recovery mod
does anyone knows how to fix it?
thanks in advance.
after openning the device by removing one screw at the back and two screws at the sides, then you remove the DVD drive by removing 4 screws.
then 2 screws at each side to remove the screen and you need to disconnect and reconect the big white cable from the board to the screen.
this works for me
My Mi 9 have spots/stain under the screen, its visible in dark room with low brightness, especially when displaying on apps with grey/dark backgrounds.
Anyone else have something similar?
call me crazy but i think they could be sensors. the one spot i have is exactly where the in screen fingerprint scanner is, same size and location. but theirs also a small one far top left, don't know what that one is.
I had also spots on the display, I returned that unit and i got already a new replacement that doesn't have any issues.
Even my Mi A1 has spots, but it looks like it's a glass manufacturing issue, not the display

Click to collapse
the top left one could be the under screen ambient light sensor as pictured in the linked image

Here's the official "teardown" https://c.mi.com/thread-1856339-1-0.html
It's not any sensors or something like that, it's literally like dirty spots between the glass and the screen. i would guess it's the glue they use.
This is happening when is activated anti-fliker mode to my mi 9 lite.
Hey all, I was trying to apply some double sided tape to the bottom of my screen because it was coming a bit loose, and stupidly used metal tweezers to do so. The display turned off for a split second, but turned back on so I thought I was good.
But then, I've noticed that when I turn on the display, horizontal lines sometimes appear. I don't have a 100% repo rate; I can get rid of it by turning the display off and on again (might take a few times though).
However, the right side of my display is always brighter than the left, making a king of ugly brightness gradient on my screen.
Any ideas on how I might be able to fix this without buying a new screen? Thank you!

I should also mention that I had replaced my screen in the past, although it worked perfectly before.
Unfortunately I have to say this screen is most probably a goner. The panel on this device is more fragile than a potato chip!
I cracked mine when it fell on the carpet with cover and protecting glass on. they didnt break but the panel beneath did!
My best suggestion would be getting a new panel and asking a more professional guy to repair it.
I'm not exactly sure how to describe the issue as I do not know the correct terminology.
I have a Samsung Note 5. During disassembly to replace the battery, the corners of the design on the front have peeled away from the inside of the front assembly. That is, the inside of the glass panel of the front.
Before. Note the gold decal of the front screen, the gold design around the display, and especially the corners (pink) to the left and right of the speaker. This is a picture from before the battery was replaced. Looking at the left corner, the decal was already beginning to peel off. Unfortunately, it got worse. The edge indicated by the green line is the screen protector.

After the replacement of the battery:
and now also the right and bottom corners have begun to peel away from the inside of the screen:
I discovered the issue while reassembling the phone after the replacement and tried to push the decal back against the screen, but whatever made it stick to it isn't working anymore.
I would appreciate advice.
