i have problem with my mobile data connections.
The device have stock rom P88020a-262-000 (4.1.2).
Since any weeks, the mobile data connections are buggy. It don't receive anything.
Problem:
- Internet connection are full and mobile data active ( same issue with 3G, H, U, E and G )
- The apps sending, but never receive any data
- After Reboot device works fine for a while.
WLAN works fine, but gain battery .
I dont have use a battery tool or firewall (only lookout). I have now tried com.gargamel.data.connection.fix and com.lrm4android.tgcfFree both of them dont resolve it.
Also if i disable connection and start connection again.
Also if i switch to plain mode and back.
Only the reboot helps for a while.
Dose anybody have a clue oder better solution for that?
Maybe try to reconfigure your APN and reboot, that's the only thing I can suggest.
If it doesn't work try your sim in another phone and see if the problem persists to lock out the possibility of a sim related failure.

My Friends have same issues they have also 4X HD. Same issue still at v10 and v20a. I hope v20b will fix that issue.

Also had problems with 4.0.3 and 4.1.2 out of the blue, the mobile data fluctuates and stops while downloading big files or even just going on youtube.. When i reset the mobile data, it runs fine and then it slows down again. Also tried the V20C stock/deodexed and it was the same deal. (Even at a different geologic location).. My suggestion is to download and flash CM 10.1 Nightly Aug. 13... It solves the problem and your headache.
I have new informations.
A Co Worker have same issue on 4x HD. He using also O2 (Telefonica).
Now, i have new pay period, all works fine now.
I think, the problem are related to reduction of speed after limit reached. Then the 4X HD have trouble with this reduced speed.
On an other phone the reduced speed are working fine.
Dose any body have a clue?
I haven't had a single issue with the rom until tonight. I just got a message from tmo saying i've used 2.5/3GB for mobile hotspot. I've used 30-50+ GB per month with this rom previously. I was under the impression that the fix provided by devynbf was built in and i assumed it was working since i never had an issue with wifi tethering previously.
Did something recently change on tmo's side that allows them to see through the apn and rom settings?

Anyone recently experienced this? Maybe it's just time to upgrade the rom.
I just bought a second hand Tmobile Note 4.
- I have problems with mobile data, including browsing, play store... actually everything. It's kinda slow and stuck to load the contents and the 4G/3G signals itself is not stable
- Wifi connection is very fast.
- I Downgrade to Kitkat, the problem is the same.
Then I try CMRemix Rom and everything turns out to be fast as it should.
Anyone knows what caused slow mobile data , I believe there something to do with modem or software conflict.
I don't wanna use custom rom because I can not use spen with it.
Please let me know if you have same problem and how to solve it.

So I updated to a 5.1.1 rom and mobile data doesn't appear to work anymore, I can activate and deactivate it but it doesn't work, I've tried a few things I found on Internet like using *#*#4636#*#* and couldn't get it working neither. Does anyone else has this problem or knows a solution?
oops haha, I just posted because I'm having the same exact problem. Went from 5.0 to CM12.1, and now I can't get data. Not sure what's up.

After a lot of searching i've decided to start a thread about my problem. Here it is :
I've tried CM13, RR, Oxigen OS,Slim Rom and on all of them i've encountered the same problem, after a few days of usage i lose mobile connection (no internet), voice connection is working fine with a full signal. I've changes the SIMs , tried another SIMs,clean instals, numerous changes in the phone settings and the result is the same.
I'm pretty sure that it's not a faulty phone.
Im more curious if this is not a gug in the ROMS....
Any kind of input would be great.

Yes, did....
Mobile Data are still a thing, but completely lost? Weird.
I had similar thing with resurrection remix rom and 3.2.4. Did full wipe with original oxygen OS and updated to 3.2.6. No problems anymore.
