Hi,
I have a germany vodafone branded phone and use it in portugal unlocked. If I do a factory reset I will lose the unlock or not? By the way could you confirm how can i do a factory reset?
Thanks to ALL
Please guys give me a hand
Thanks
You will NOT lose the unlock branded phone
Regards
you can go to recovery mode. turn of phone then volumeup+home+power.
or goto settings then privacy
so does a factory reset wipe out the unlock, and re-lock my vibrant to T-mobile?
Depend on how have u unlocked the phone..... I think factory reset with wipe out the unlock coding. In case if the unlock has been rooted & than done than it won't.
hello,
i have the samsuns s6 g920aucu3boj7.
i wanted to country unlock it from at&t and i received the unlock code and the de-freeze code
but the problem is both are not working,i heard if you enter the incorrect code many times the mobile will be permanently locked.is this true ?
if i restore it with this firmware will the code work then ?

Hi,
Try these, maybe you can solve this issue:
Apply the Defreeze + Network Code if you still get the message “Unlock Unsuccessful”. It takes 5 steps:
1. Type your Defreeze code (or MCK): xxxxxxx and press Unlock button. You will get "unsuccessful” message again but don't worry.
2. Now type the Network code (or NCK): xxxxxxxxx and press Unlock button. If your phone shows “Unlock Successful" message, congratulations, your phone is unlocked. If not, proceed to step 3.
3. Make a hard-reset or factory reset of your phone. Please be informed that a hard-reset will restore your phone to the factory settings, so all apps, data and other settings added by you will be removed. We advise you to make a backup or save all data you want to keep.
In order to make a hard-reset you can either dial *27673855# on your phone or, if this method is not working, you can use these instructions in order to make the hard-reset.
4. After your phone restarts, type the Defreeze code (or MCK) xxxxxxxx, in the area below "SIM network unlock PIN" message or "Enter Network Lock Control Key" message. Press the unlock button. It will say "unsuccessful" again, don't worry!
5. Type the Network code (or NCK): xxxxxxxx and press Unlock button. Your phone should now give you the message "Unlock Successful".

did you find answer?
Hi all, probably been asked a million times already but, is there any other way to unlock this bootloader and bypass the 7 day waiting period? Also, as unlocking it wipes data, does it automatically wipe data when you register to unlock it or does that happen on the 7th day when it actually does unlock?

a) no, only with your unlocking code you can unlock, this depends on the manufacturer .. buy another brand, where this is not practiced
b) data is only erased, when you process the unlocking procedure on your phone, then entering the unlock code > only then data will be erased .
