Hello guys
I have the following problem.
I have completely locked my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 (Android 9) by entering the code/pattern incorrectly multiple times - congratulations on my stupidity.
sorry, my English skills are not good.
I contacted Samsung customer service via email. They have not contacted me until today and that is now over two months ago.
When restarting my cellphone there comes the following error message:
"Verification failed your device cannot be restarted. The integrity check has failed. You have to reset your device to factory settings. This will delete all of your data."
All my data is encrypted.
My questions are::
1# Is there a possibility to backup all my data?
If yes, how ? Who could help me with this?
2# What do I have to do?
3# What do I have to pay attention to?
4# Is it possible to delete or reset this request?
5# Are there any programs that can help me?
6# how do i decrypt all my data?
My smartphone has never been rooted/flashed, I bought it from Vodafone store back in the day.
Thanks in advance
My main priority is to backup all my data. (e.g. also Safe Folder (content), protected notes, photos, contacts, ...).
It is difficult for me to understand all the instructions or descriptions (here/general) right away, but I am trying hard to change that and see it as an incentive to understand everything.
I thank you for your tips and suggestions, in case of misunderstandings feel free to contact me.

Hi guys,
As the title says, will i be able to retrieve my lost files after sudden factory reset? i just saw my phone restarted then saw the emui logo which i thought was updating then all of a sudden asking me all the details which was present when using a new phone such as, gmail account, language, time etc.
I already rooted my phone because that was the requirement of all recovery software(dr fone, easeus mobisave, remo) but haven't got any luck of seeing at least some of the files i know was present before my phone did the factory reset.
I saw this post here in xda about internal memory recovery, will it be the solution to my problem? will it work on my phone? or i should stop looking for a solution?
here's the thread i'm talking about:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga...de-internal-memory-data-recovery-yes-t1994705
P.S.
after rooting my phone i disabled my wifi/mobile data, removed the sim card and memory card to prevent updates, etc. thus making it overwrite the files i want to recover <- this was the tip present in all sites i visit looking for a solution to my problem.
I learned my lesson now to always backup.
Thank you in advance guys, I hope you guys can help me, sorry if I wrote a long post asking for a solution.
Hi Guys,
I think I have no lucky these days...
I was testing a new ROM and when a returned the backup with TWRP android asked me a patteren for unlock.
The patter I usauly use dont work.
I found a help that say to erase some files in /data/system but it doenst work...
I had a idea to block the cell with my google account and set a new PIN for unnlock... It doenst work
Now I have the cell blocked by google and its impossible to access the internal memory with TWRP...
I need help... I dont know what to do...
Please !!!!
Sounds like your only way back is to format/delete all your data and start from scratch. You can use fastboot to do this.
I think this is the way... but I never did this before...
Do you know a step by step to do this !?
If I understand rightly you have a Google locked phone. I have not tried this on the OP3T but if you are able to reach the boot up screen where Google asks you for the password/pattern lock, you can try inserting an OTG drive of any capacity into your device. The phone will ask for changing storage. After clicking 'OK' you will be taken to the storage section. Go to 'Apps' and from there to 'Setting'. If you are able to reach this far, do a complete reset from that 'Settings' section and you would be able to recover your phone. I repeat, I have not tried this on the OP3T but have successfully tried this on some other phones. Best of luck and hope you get back your toy.
Let me also add that you won't be able to recover a Google blocked phone by factory resetting from recovery. The only way to do this is to reset it from the settings section of the OS itself after you have booted up.

Hey guys.
Ok so I deleted some of my photos by mistake so i tried to recover them so I use "DR.Fone" programm ,
after that I see some annoyin message on notification screen "Unauthorized actions detected. Please reactivate your device to undo any unauthorized changes made"
and doesnt matter what I try to do it wont go ( I tried : restart phone, hard reset, wipe cache ,reset factory settings) nothing helped,
after that I also noticed that when I tried to update my phone by OTA updates it also gives me an error
"An unauthorized change was made to your device's operating system. Try downloading software support by smart transfer on your computer or visiting a customer service center"
I really want to fix it and I have no idea how , my phone is only 1 month old,
Big thanks for helpers!

Try using Samsung SmartSwitch
Or
Try flashing your stock firmware for your country/region/carrier via Odin. Do a Google search for:
"Return to stock (your model number)"
I DO NOT PROVIDE HELP IN PM, KEEP IT IN THE THREADS WHERE EVERYONE CAN SHARE

Sorry to say, but ... why is she not able to remember the password she had set previously
If her Google account is not linked to screen locking, maybe it is possible to flash a new firmware. But that would not erase the unlock password. A factory reset would do, but also wiping her data.
Best to make your mother a good coffee or tea, and she might remember the password. Then enter every possible variant and combination.
THEME DIRECTLY FROM THE SAMSUNG STORE. THE DOWNLOAD FINISHED AND I CLICKED APPLY EAGER TO ENJOY THIS REALLY COOL DREAMCATCHER\SACRED GEOMETRY VIDEO THEME. SCREEN BLINKED A COUPLE TIMES THEN THE SCREEN WENT BLACK AND MY PHONE VIBRATED AND WENT OFF. I THOUGHT OK REBOOT FOR EFFECT NEW THEME\\\NO IT WENT INTO A BOOTLOOP GETTING TO THE PINK TMOBILE SCREEN B4 BLACKING OUT AND RESTARTING. ON THE 3RD REBOOT IT LANDS NOT QUITE IN RECOVERY MODE WITH 4 OPTIONS SAYING POSSIBLE DATA CORRUPTION OPTIONS WERE REPAIR APPS \REBOOT BOOTLOADER \SIMPLY TRY AGAIN\ OR THE DREADED AND UNACCEPTABLE FACTORY RESET.
NOW IM NO NOOB YET IN THE SAME TOKEN I HAVENT USED ODIN OR FLASH FIRMWARE ON ANYTHING SINCE 2013 AND I CAN NOT AFFORD A BRICK IT WILL CRUSH MY EXISTENCE CURRENTLY.
THIS IS THE VERY 1ST TIME IVE EVER POSTED AND ASKED FOR DIRECT HELP, SIMPLY BCUZ WHAT I KNOW ABOUT THESE DEVICES,THIS IS A PRETTY "WEAK" OBSTACLE IN THE WAY OF FUNCTION AGAIN.
SOOOO MY QUESTION IS THIS ## CAN I NOT SIMPLY USE RECOVERY MODE TO "UPDATE" FROM EITHER SD CARD OR ADB AND PUSH OR SIDELOAD A STOCK THEME OVER WHATS THERE TO GAIN FUNCTIONALITY BACK.
LIKE I SAID I AM 100 PERCENT SURE THE ONLY PROBLEM WAS WHATEVER IS IN THAT THEME IS CORRUPT OR ALLERGIC TO MY DEVICE. THAT SAID OF COURSE IM OPEN TO ANY AND ALL WORKAROUNDS THAT GET ME THERE. IM PRETTY DESPERATE RIGHT NOW BCUZ ALOT RIDES ON COMMUNICATION DAILY....IF MY FIX IS SIMPLE ENOUGH COULD ONE OF YOU DEV-GODS SHOOT ME THE STEP BY STEP CODE LINE FUNCTIONS I NEED TO COMPLETE THIS I HAVE ADB\FASTBOOT ON MY LAPTOP AND A DOWNLOADED THEME I KNOW WORKS BUT WILL MY SUGGESTION WORK AND IF SO CAN YALL HELP ME WITH THE FUNCTIONS OF CODE I HIGHLY APPRECIATE ANYONES TIME, ABILITY AND CAPACITY TO HELP ME OUT TODAY AT LEAST GOODNESS I HOPE ITS TODAY PLEASE RESCUE/
I HAVE HONOR & RESPECT & THE UTMOST APPRECIATION FOR EVERY MODERATOR, DEVELOPER, AND TROUBLESHOOTER OUT THERE.

Hope someone can help you fix your N9.
Bad news odin and such wont help. Right now you are what's called soft locked you have 1 recourse and that is factory reset. Using adb it might be possible to pull off a backup of the file system but that is still it. If you get a readable backup you are still going to need factory reset. The only thing that would have helped would be twrp and nandroid backups you could have loaded them or used twrp to mount the emmc to copy off. And since you are stock you might have encrypted the emmc and sd card and if that is the case nobody can help you you only have 1 option and that is factory reset and restore from syncronized backup.
What's more is this isn't an issue of a maligned 3rd party theme needing to be overwritten it is from an official store on a stock device. Good news is you seem to have signed into samsung cloud backup and perhaps linked a google account to the phone so the auto backup should restore your contacts and txt messages.
