root redmi 4x

Hey guys I am using redmi 4x I have installed Oreo pixel experience rom in it.... Can any one help me how to root this device in Android Oreo 8.0.

First Flash Magisk
If No Magisk/Root App appeared, Install Magisk Manager Manually.

Mount system in twrp then flash magisk zip

I'm having the same problem. It is telling me that I can't mount /vendor
Even when I try to flash supersu, it looks like it works but doesn't do anything.
UPDATE:
You'll need a treble compatible recovery
Download this:

Then, download a treble compatible version of magisk

Anyone successfully installed AOSP GSI 10 on exynos Note 9?

I was very interested in AOSP GSI roms, I successfully installed AOSP 9.0 on my Note 9, but I could't boot AOSP 10 so I want to ask if anyone successfully installed AOSP GSI 10 or know how to boot it on Note 9?

i try for few times and i always stuck on the samsung galaxy note 9 logo there after i click reboot system.

Sure @SinWei97 :
1- Flash the stock ROM (Samsung ROM) because the AOSP 9 will use the stock Vendor.img
2- Flash TWRP and install the AOSP 9 as System
3- Finaly use the OEM fix of @dr.ketan
Then your Note 9 will boot normaly

Can you boot with vendor of 10 can you confirm maybe the iris scan will work with the kernel and aosp from phh ? He told me maybe will work on his gsi but only with android 10 as base maybe kernel caused? He mentioned....
And are you able to boot gsi with vendor and kernel are stock android 10?

Yesterday I started treble following the tutorial
1 . install treble twrp
2.install lineages 16,it's supported treble
3.download pixel Android R GSI
I tested it very smoothly. The functions are all normal. The only disadvantage is that sometimes it reboot

It works great on Pixel Experience 10 ROM + OnePlus 3/3T Slow Motion Fix v2.0.1 (Magisk module).
5. Does the Google Pay works? (I'm asking because it will use Vendor partition from LOS and Google Pay doesn't work on LOS ROM's)

Official los (16.0 as well as 17.1) does not support project treble, nor does it support A/B partitioning.
In my expirience it's really helpful to spend a little bit more time on making a post and add exact versions and threads as reference to postings like this op. Such more precise postings help to avoid misunderstandings.

AB GSI with last LOS16 treble or A only with older LOS16 treble?
Flashed any patch or fix with it? What about Magisk, is 20.4 working on it?

Thanks. Tried with LOS 17 treble and then LOS 16 treble, it's booting fine but not connecting to WiFi network.

Official release and clean install so if you have touch problems, it's an hardware issue...

Will the twrp for android 9 still work for android 10? If not can somebody please give me the link to the android 10 twrp for sm a600fn?

Does anyone know how to have pixel experience on redmi note 11s 5g and if they know please tell me

First check for your device on pixel experieceʼs official site if it is not there then start searcing for unofficial and ported rom for your device and if this also not available then the last way is to havd a GSI rom if your device support project treble and to check treble compatibility insall device info app

whenever a new update come you have to manually download and agin flash the gsi rom
