CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Instructions:
First time flashing CyanogenMod 7 to the HTC Wildfire, or coming from another ROM?
Root the device and install ClockworkMod Recovery. Instructions are available here.
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
Format the system, data & cache partitions of your device.
Perform a factory reset.
Flash CyanogenMod.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
Upgrading from earlier version of CyanogenMod 7?
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM.
Flash CyanogenMod (your Google Apps will be backed up & restored automatically).
Issues?
Experience issues? Please provide the following info:
If the device was hard reboot, please provide the file "/proc/last_kmsg".
If the device was soft reboot or is "bootlooping", please run a logcat and provide the full output.

I launch the update via rom manager.
With save actual rom and format activated.
Installation from SDcard the software package is found i got opening update package message and it freeze with "Installing update" message.
after 15 mn nothing apend, stay stuck on this message.
Can i restart the device (take of battery, no other option) ?

Is radio depending on country where I live?

I have install cm-7.1.0-RC1 and when I want to use Endomondo the phone reboots after a few minutes of using.

Sorry no idea.
If it's any help though, I flashed the ROM from clockwork mod recovery after a nandroid backup.
I would have thought if you'd performed a nandroid before you started to flash the ROM, you could always fall back to that before attempting to flash it again.
I'm no expert though.

Is there some things that "officially" do not work? I do not think about bugs...

I can confirm that you can always go back to the state it was when you took the backup, even if it is a totaly different ROM. But you should wipe everything then before restoring the update: boot, system, cache, delviks cache,.. except for the radio and recovery of course.
@houdini1er: boot into the bootloader, go into recovery, whipe everything that is suggested in the fist post an try to apply the "update zip from sdcard".

YES! Do not do it if you are not sure wath is this. You can brick your phone if you flash incorrect radio to your device. Use search on the forum and read a lot before to try this thing.

I had the same problem, with prevoious builds. What I managed to conclude is that this is related with signal and/or 3G netwok. When I got bike mount and set it to 2G only, it doesn't crashes any more.
Does anyone else have the same problem with endomondo? I'm reluctant to upgrade to this ver. because of this.

Welcome to Android 11, and OneUI 3 from the Galaxy S20!
This ROM is a direct port of OneUI 3 from the Samsung Galaxy S20 to (parts of) the Exynos 7885/7904 family.
It can be used on Treble and Non-Treble phones. If you use it with treble enabled, it will install a vendor compatible with Android 11 GSIs too!

Installation:
Read this as you need to set some settings to fix the resolution and DPI
-(Optional, A8 only) Treble your phone using the treble guide
-If you haven't yet, install a custom recovery and decrypt data
-Flash zip in custom recovery
-Wipe data
-Reboot
-First boot will be in wrong resolution and DPI
-After setting up the device, go into display settings and set the resolution to 1440p or 720p
-Set it back to 1080p
-Set display zoom to some other level then back.

How was the rom? Did you try it?

If I have answer to my questions ,this will help me to try this ROM.

I tried A750N, but it works! (korea model)
By the way, add a boot.img to flashing at normal operation.

I don't really have an A7, so this is a bit difficult for me but going from just unlocking the bootloader and flashing a recovery, formatting data to remove encryption then installing the zip should work fine.

Does NFC work on A750-FN?

I tried this rom in my A7 2018gn/ds android 10 with latest security patch but it freezes whenever I am setting up the phone then it reboots on its own. Anyone can share ideas on how should I supppose to install it perfectly on my phone. Thank you

Introduction:
This is the Unofficial Lineage OS 19.1 thread for the Huawei P Smart 2018 (FIG-LX1). This version of Lineage OS is a modified version of the original, containing different patches in order to make the device functional. I have made a couple of tweaks in order to boot on this device, as this rom is ported entirely from another build made for P20 lite (not made by me, credits at the end of the post).

Other mentions and requirements:
You'll need a microSD card (at least 8GB).
The bootloader must be unlocked. You'll need a tool called DCUnlocker or PotatoNV (The first one is paid - around $5, the second one is free but requires you to physically open your phone). Also, you need to make sure that you are running on EMUI 8.0.0 build before JUNE 2018. Otherwise, you'll need to downgrade to an early version. I have downgraded to 8.0.0.128. I think it works with 129 too. Tutorial Here and additional info Here.
After getting the bootloader code, you'll have to put it in a safe place and upgrade again to any eEMUI 9.0.0.xxx. THIS ROM WILL NOT WORK WITH EMUI 8.0.0.xxx!!!
Also, the rom is not very stable for daily use. So, I do NOT recommend to use this ROM on your primary device! It's stable enough to be functional. (See bellow)...
INSTALLATION:
1. Download all the files (look for download section)
2. Extract the img file from the ROM zip
3. Flash system image : fastboot flash system <drag system.img here>
4. Flash TWRP image: fastboot flash recovery_ramdisk <drag twrp img here>
5. Boot into twrp: power and vol+ simultaneously while NOT connected to pc
6. Resize system: Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Check System option > Repair or Change File System > Resize File System > Swipe
7. Wipe cache, dalvik/art cache, internal storage, data
8. Copy GPS Patch, DRM Patch (see notes if you need it or not), GAPPS onto the microSD card
9. Reboot and ENJOY
Optionally, you can install Magisk via recovery by flashing the apk. Tested with the last version of Magisk, not working, cause bootloop. Further testing is required
Bugs and other problems:
Charging while the phone is powered off (atm there is no fix available)
Bluetooth pairing with code (FIX: search for Bluetooth Force Pin app)
After the first boot, there is a system crash (everything crashes) and the system is unusable. (FIX: Restart the phone)
Weak signal with some carriers (atm there is no fix available)
Other UI settings and device specific functions
Secondary camera - testing EMUI camera port for Custom ROMs (Possible FIX, not tested - GCAM)
Possibly other things

I have a same error and im tried to use your tool but im getting this error in cmd : adbd cannot run as root in production builds.Im installed chainfire's adbd insecure app and adb_root magisk addon,adbd insecure will dont work and when i installed magisk addon my pc cant recognize the phone and phone is only charging(when i removed magisk addon fixed this problem).Sorry for my bad English and this is my first message on this forum.

It couldn't charge because your phone is heating (This due to playing games will make your phone heat faster, specially on 9810 + charging).

1. Samsung proprietary apps will never work.
2. The ROM is encrypted by default.
3. You will just need to change your /data partition into f2fs, no need to repartition anything.

I have a question. For public transport we have 9292 app in netherlands to buy a ticket for bus, train etc. But it won't generate a QR code, and this should for proof of payment for public transport. Can i bypass this to make the app think its not a ROM? Its not even rooted. P.s. its not a ROM-issue, had this in the past as well. Any idea? Thanks

This might be achieved with Magisk, which bring the question, is there a way to install it in this ROM? anybody have done it? Android 13 doesn't play along with Magisk AFAIK, also, does anybody have some feedback about the Bluetooth experience with this ROM? specially during calls and pairing devices (smartwatches, etc)

Android 13 doesn't play along with Magisk AFAIK, also, does anybody have some feedback about the Bluetooth experience with this ROM? specially during calls and pairing devices (smartwatches, etc)

Magisk can be installed on this ROM. I highly recommend v25.2 stable, not the v25210 since it may cause some bugs.
And about bluetooth bug, it still there. Let's wait for a fix from Google.

i installed this and now my s9 is bootlooping, and the ofox links are dead

Question can I have the 3-button navbar or can't I find it?

Recovery for OTA (custom recoveries cannot decrypt data) - included with ROM

Install Instructions (clean flash):

Start with unlocked bootloader and grab a PC with windows, linux or macOS
Download platform-tools and extract it
Download ROM + recovery.img and place files in platform-tools folder, then connect your phone to PC.
1. Open CMD, and navigate to your platform-tools folder. Then fastboot boot arrow recovery:

2. On device, navigate to "Apply Update" & select "Apply from ADB"
3. On PC, sideload the ROM (copy paste the zip name)

adb sideload "path/to/rom-full-name.zip"
Wait for it to complete.
4. On device, navigate back to home screen (top left arrow) and find "Factory Reset"
This will factory reset the device, removing all user data
5. Boot and enjoy - firmware and recovery are included with the ROM
Dirty flashing:
Just adb sideload the zip and reboot, that's all!

OTA:
Use the OTA updater in the ROM (official builds only)
Tips:
- if adb sideload fails, unplug and replug the device to PC and try again
If you install magisk or other mods, do not ask for support
I discourage mods, but zips can be sideloaded like the ROM if you need custom kernels etc

I can confirm. The latest build does not boot. I tried both OTA and adb sideload and I only end up with a "spinning" Arrow logo.
Build that works: Arrow-v13.1-apollo-OFFICIAL-20230510-GAPPS.zip

I did OTA update to this version and it's been working fine for the past two days or so.

Hello everyone, I especially address the developer of the ROM, I have problems with this ROM on both 4G and 5G mobile network. In the sense the internet works, but after 2 speedtests it stops working. And this happens even without speedtesting, normally using the phone to surf the internet or watch videos on Youtube. I attach pictures of what happens. I've already tried to see if switching from 5G to 4G solves it, but it doesn't solve it. Even when you change from 5G to 4G an exclamation point appears and it doesn't go any further. Putting the airplane mode temporarily does not improve the situation, to make the internet work again I have to restart the device. Is there a possible solution to this? Has this happened to others? I attach images below.

On which ROM, apart from MIUI, does it work completely?
And no, it's not normal. I have been using my own builds of ArrowOS for >2 years without any issue with internet
