Successful Ridding Amazon Ads But Lost Root

Hello -
I followed the three video tutorial on how to get rid of the Amazon ads, stop OTA updates. That worked fine.
I have been loading up apps when I noticed that one of the apps could not work cause it needs root access. Root Checker showed my phone was not rooted.
Confused cause I thought I rooted, then followed the videos exactly to get rid of the ads, finalized by doing a factory reset.
Any ideas? Should I just try to root the again? Follow video 1? I do have TWRP installed.
Thanks

if twrp is still installed, go download latest supersu from chainfire's website, install the zip from twrp. simple.

Pokemon GO ? After uninstaller root ?

why is no work ?
how can i get Pokemon Go On me Rom cutom no root ?
Pokemon go uses safetynet now. The same reason why android pay doesnt work on a rooted phone. So basically no pokemon go on rooted devices.

LG h811 Need help with SafetyNet

I had my phone stuck on bootloop so I used LGUP to flash the stock 20o.kdz file. My bootloader is locked and I don't have root, yet my phone is not passing a safetynet check.
If anyone knows any good work arounds please let me know, if more info is needed please let me know as well.
Thanks,
Evol
PS. I've used 3 different safetynet checkers and it passes 2 out of 3
Jrummy safetynet checker - pass
root and safetynet checker - pass
safetynet test - fail
reality is i'm trying to use this old phone for pokemon go for my kids, i figured it was a safetynet issue but now i'm not sure.
the device meets all requirements for the game and sometimes will allow the game to be played for a few minutes but then it gets kicked out to a "device not compatible" screen.

Netflix stuck at loading screen on rooted N9

Hi peoole, today i found my netflix not working on my rooted N9. I can login and browse through but when i try to play anything, it gets stuck at loading? Does it have anything to do with a rooted device? I checked magisk for safety pass and it did pass. Plz help !
Most custom roms include a Netflix fix. Yo could try to hide it with magisk, see if that does anything.
I'm using custom rom based on Samsung's with root, and Netflix can't play in hd + widevine level 3.
Is it normal? What caused it from l1 to l3- root or custom rom or bl unlocked?
i have the same problem but i used the old version of Netflix.. the problem was resolved for me ...
this version is worded for me
.. 2018.10.01 ..
Go back to stock if you can, unless you're a developer there's no reason. Imo

Don't go back to stock, there is a module on Magisk that allows you to play Netflix.. See this thread..

That should fix it.

Pokémon Go / Wizards Unite / Niantic devices, bootloader

I just bought a Pixel 3a from swappa.com. One of the things that I've noticed is that when I run any Niantic games, it tells me my device or OS is incompatible with this version. I suspect this may be because the bootloader is unlocked? However, the phone is NOT rooted.
Any ideas on what my options would be? Had a chat with Google and they're supposed to be emailing me once their experts find a solution, but not crossing my fingers on that. I already tried locking the bootloader with fastboot and had a freakout (was able to unlock it again and factory reset, LOL . . . )

I'm unlocked, rooted (stock ROM and kernel), and spoofing gps and I'm still able to play Pokemon Go.
I'd recommend flashing the latest stock factory image to clear out anything the old user may have left behind.
If that doesn't work I'd root using Magisk, then hide Magisk and applicable apps.

Ok, cool, I'll try that! Thanks for the reply!
Wiped and rooted phone, installed stock rom from Google, and it worked! Pokémon Go AND Wizards United working. Thanks so much!
Im on Stock Rooted and Ex Kernel all you have to do is go to magisk use Mgaisk Hide the games and go into settings then HIDE Magisk or i think its repackage hide something aroudn that and yeah it works oh also you have to turn off debugging in dev options.

If you decide to use the GPS spoof, I highly recommend fakegps route, it gives you a thumb stick so you can walk around while being a couch potato. It's 4 bucks.
Just use the Magisk module "systemize" to make it a priv-app, restart your phone, uninstall the app from the app store, enable expert mode in the GPS app, then disable fused locations the GPS app.
