[GUIDE] [NO ROOT] Enable Google Pixel 2 Portrait Mode On OnePlus 3/3T

This method works on Oxygen OS Oreo ( Stable 5 and beta 19/29 ) are confirmed to be working. This currently only works on rear camera and only if the subject is a human or a pet. Also HDR + works without any issues.
Steps -
1. Download this apk.

2. If you already have a conflicting app installed, first uunistall t then install this to be on the safe side.
3. Open the app, set the proper config and done.
( I'll later share the video showinf everything step by step and the best configuration too. )

Google Pixel Camera with portrait mode and HDR+ (Non-rooted)

REQUIREMENTS:
Redmi 5 (Rosy) with
Bootloader unlocked,
custom recovery TWRP installed.
PROCESS
Install the Pixel Cam mod APK. (Remove the spaces)

Then install the fix file using twrp recovery. (Remove the spaces)

WHAT WORKS:
HDR+ mode
Portrait mode (Both Cams)
Lens blur
Front Flash
Video stabilization (EIS)
60fps vid
Almost everything
WHAT DOESN'T WORK:
Slow mo
NOTE:
I've not developed or ported this mod, I just found it on the web and tested it on redmi 5 (Rosy).
It may also work on Redmi note 5/redmi 5 plus, as the camera censor is the same. Try it on your own risk.

Doesn't work
Tried of AICP Rom rosy
New Camera app crashing even after flashing the fix.
Default camera also stopped working. is there anyways to make default camera app run.
Tried uninstalling the gcam and editing the buildprop persist.camera.HAL3.enabled to 0.
Can anyone help ? dont want to reflash the rom.

Unfortunately the fix bricked my Redmi 5
This is not your fault. I think the zip got messed up by Opera and now it won't boot to Android.
So yea... I'm left out without a phone.

5. Paste the XML file attached in the Configs7 folder.
6. Open the PixelCam and double tap the empty area left to the shutter button and right to the switch camera button and hit UPDATE
7. Done!
All the credits go to Jairo Rossi, I just installed the app and tested for a while. This is the best GCam for Poco M2 Pro (tested on 6/64GB)

Did anyone try Redmi Note 9 Pro's GCam mod and its XML file to check if it working fine in M2 Pro?
I am planning to get either Note 9 Pro or M2 Pro. M2 Pro seems better out of the box (33W charger and cheaper) but I am worried about the development.
If Note 9 Pro's apks and ROMS be used for M2 Pro as well, I'd jump in for M2 Pro.

No, I am using it from the day I bought this device it works flawless.

I uninstalled the APK, installed again and used the XML and it works. (Tested it now) There maybe some issue on your end.

Can anyone please help me, the gcam link is not working whenever i open it it open and then close, please fix it

Are you using Poco M2 Pro (gram)?
Try reinstalling the app and updating the XML again.

there are plenty of roms available but which one is the best for battery life and camera?

If you ask that way: stock or Xiaomi EU. But, if you want to get rid of MIUI, Pixel OS may be a good compromise. Most camera features work (quality up to par with stock) and the battery life doesn't take a too big hit compared to Xiaomi EU.
