Hi, guys, when I move the mouse to the top of the screen when the software is full screen, the status bar will come out. It's very annoying. Is there any module that can prohibit this behavior? Especially when I use Rd client.

I have hardware problems with my HTC touch screen sensor. When I touch sometimes in the middle or bottom of the screen, it 'thinks' that I am touching the top of the screen and opens the notification bar down. Since there is probably no way that I can fix the touch screen:
My question is. Is there anyway to disable the notification bar?

Click to collapse
No.

Is there anyway that I can re-calibrate the screen?
This is the exact problem I am having...I just don't know where Locale & Text is in settings. Probably a 2.1 thing:

You can hide the notification bar if you use LauncherPro
take off your screen protector
This was essential for me in Gingerbread. ICS there is no option yet, anyone know how to do it myself, tablet is close to unusable atm. Whenever I type I miss loads as hit the status bar instead of the keyboard, also buttons more accessible at the top.
Thanks.
My bottom status bar (CM7) has never caused me issues. In fact, I can't recall seeing one with it at the top (except on phones of course).
The dots representing the different screens is up top, would you move that to the bottom? Seems like that would be a problem too. Maybe more so.
IT was an option in CM7 to have it at the top, the dots are hidden when in an App so would not cause a problem and the onboard keyboard would be flush with the bottom of the screen and functional.
I would also like the status bar on top.
This is my post with the answers I got:

Thanks for the replies. I've gone back to gingerbread until this is sorted, was finding it unusable.
id prefer the bar stay at the bottom but i do know what you are talking about with the keyboard. seems everytime i go for space, i hit that instead.
Hello all
Im trying to solve the issue that emulators such as Dos Box, ScummVM, UAE etc have when using a real mouse (plugged in with bluetooth or usb). The 2 main problems are the built in android cursor / pointer being displayed on top of the cursor from the emulator, and the mouse not going past the edge of the screen (for things like turning laying games such as doom).
Would this sort of change be possible by creating an Xposed module? Is so, does anyone have any pointers as to which classes i need to be modifying? Im guessing that the edge wrapping issue will be something in the MotionEvent.java class, but no idea about the pointer icon yet.
My end goal would be to create an easily togglabe solution that allows changing between default mouse behaviour, and a modifed style for emulators.
Thanks
Adam
Made some progress with this so far. Got the cursor hiding working. Ive attached the APK of what ive done so far. It works great for hiding the system pointer within ScummVM. To enable this set the pref and reconnect your mouse (turn off and on again). The cursors seem to only be updated when the mouse is connected to the system.
Does anyone have any ideas how to allow things like DosBox to not get stuck on the edge of the screen mouse wise? This is for things like turning in FPS games etc.

Hi, i have a lumia 535, this phone doesn´t have fisical navigation bar (back, windows, search) it does have a virtual/sofware one, it also auto hides sometimes in some apps, my problem is in some apps/games when it autohides it leaves a black space where it should be the nav bar and in some game/app it doesn´t let you see what is behind it, and you have to play with some elements of the game under this "black space" and in other it also moves the touch areas of some elements of the game/app (li.e.: you have to touch 2 cm down and 2 cm right to click certain button) its like the app is trying to be full screen but this balck space or the navbar doesnt let you see beneath it, any reg tweak or solution to this matter?
Thanks
No
Just wait for the windows 10 mobile final version.
I found that disabling autohide in the Settings, then swiping up from the bottom of the screen to bring up the nav bar and swiping up again to hide it takes care of the screen problem. I wouldn't touch WM10 with someone else's phone for now. The supposed 'final' release will be too buggy.
Hi,
I'm looking for a way to use S pen in my presentations. I have connected projector via HDMI to Note 8, presenting live android application. Sometimes, I want to draw something on the top of running app. Now, I just use draw on screen function of S pen, which makes screenshot and let me draw on it, which is totally fine. BUT, there appears button like Save, Share etc., which occupies half of screen (when presenting landscape) after one second when I take S pen off the display. So I'm pushed to hold S pen all the time on the screen, in some corner, drawing a dot to prevent showing those buttons.
Do you have idea, how to draw something on screenshot in fullscreen? Without any onscreen options and buttons?
Thanks!
