My S pen settings under Special features is missing. When I enter into the S pen menu, there are no options - like Quick actions, Quick notes etc...

[Q] Vanishing icons!

I rebooted my note earlier today. When the desktop appeared I had only the "applications" ic9n right in the middle of the main shortcut bar, nothing else. Very strange as you can't seem to edit those icons!
This is the default home\launcher thingy that comes with the phone.
Anyone seen this before, or anyone know how to either get the default icons back (without wiping/resetting) or edit them ?
Thanks
It should look like this -
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But now I get this -

EDIT: I posted this because it might be useful to know how to edit/change the apps on the menu bar .
Goto Applications window press menu button(Left Soft button), then press "Edit", Then Drag and Drop Apps to dock which you need.
lol, thanks for that!
It seems obvious now, but the "edit" option only appears once you select "Grid View", it doesn't show up under "List View", that's why I didn't see it

[Q] JB 4.1.2 samsung split screen multitasking and app drawer missing?

Can someone give me a pointer on how to enable these two features as shown in the screenshots of sammobile. com/2012/11/28/n7000xxlsa-–-galaxy-note-android-4-1-2-jelly-bean-test-firmware/

I couldn't find any search results in google or xda.
thanks.
EDIT: Solved. Go in the Notification Drawer and uncheck and recheck the Multi-Window Button to restart the service.
taskbar for multiwindow is enabled or disabled by longpressing the back button.
Why your app drawer would be missing i don't know..
Enable the multiwindow feature from the notifications and then press the back softkey for several seconds
Thanks. As for using the multi-view, drag and drop one of the icons on the current app in the view.
Lastly someone here modded the application so all apps can be run as multi-windowed.
Will multi-view work in "tablet mode"?
Multi-view along with "popup apps" (e.g. popup browser) as a step forward in using Android in occasional desktop usage.

Is there a way to change how Action Memos are displayed on the widget?

I have the S Note widget on my homescreen, and I have action a few action memos on there. The problem is that the widget stacks the action memos on top of each other when I'd rather have them side by side, is there any way to change that? Also the notes are displayed as a "book" with the note name rather than the contents of the note I created. Do I have any options to change the way these are at all displayed on the widget?
Thanks!
Do you have the option to pin memo on the screen?

Yup, I need that pin button as well, I see it on videos online but not on mine i'd love to put the action memo up on my screen as a widget. Any help would be appreciated.
What the heck why is this option missing on ours?
Ah no I don't have that option, I was referring to the action memo widget

[Q] Any way to change 'one handed operation - reduce screen size' shortcut?

I have smaller hands and I've found the 'reduced size' mode for one handed operation is extremely useful when holding the phone with one hand. However, the shortcut gesture to turn it on it's weird: you swipe from the border into the center, and then back to the border. While you do this this gets registered on the running app and things can get messed up.
Does anyone know a way to have a different shortcut? Like double press the home key, or something similar..
Thanks!

Enable the settings in the first picture, then you get a hidden sidebar which can be opened. Press on the button and it will automatically make the screen reduced without swiping back and forth.
Thanks! That works

Tap the Manual button, which is located between the Shutter and Focus buttons, and then tap Reset on Top-Right of the screen.
