Patched apps no longer work after latest Android Auto update - Android Auto General

Hi,
a few days ago I updated Android Auto to the latest version (6.0.615334-release) and from that moment I can not longer use neither AA Mirror nor Screen2Auto (they no longer appear in the app list on Android Auto).
I tried to repatch it with AA Phenotype Patcher, then also with AA AIO Tweaker, without results. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and repatched them again, but they don't work.
I have checked the Android Auto settings and they are correct, but I haven't tried to uninstall and reinstall it yet.
Has anyone had the same problem since the last update and was it able to fix?
Thanks,
Michele

Same here....

Hi Claudio,
it would have been a great idea, except that the update is mandatory.
Without updating it does not start.
Maybe we could try to take the apk of the previous version and try to modify the version internally, but I don't think it's that easy to make it work (in addition, Google apps designed for Android Auto may malfunction).

zmiaux i agree with you.

same problem. im down AA to v59. and fix it.

Ok, I'll try. In my case, if I didn't update it, it didn't start, a mandatory update notices appeared. I will try to downgrade anyway, hoping it works, until the problem is fixed.

For me S2A is working via AA unlock function in S2A:
other settings > AA UNLOCK > Trigger Manager > select triggers > DROP >> Reboot

Ok, for now I have solved it by downgrading to 5.9. It is necessary to update to the latest version (otherwise it won't start anymore), update the apps shown on the screen and then downgrade

And you have no problems when you are driving everything is fine until you put the R gear and there an error appears and Android auto disconnects?

No, it doesn't happen to me, but I don't have a rear view camera. The parking sensors activate (and the distance to obstacles appears on the screen), but they don't make me disconnect Android Auto

I tried uninstalling all updates and reverting back to 5.9 and then reinstalling all patches, but it didn't work. I had to uninstall everything and clear data to get it working.

Help Rooting my Samsung Galaxy S GT~I9000T!

Hi guys! I can't root my Galaxy S. I've downloaded many ''update.zip'' files, but. in the download mode, when I hit ''apply update''after some weird phrases appear it says ''failed to update''
I think it's because I have the GT-I9000T, and I've found files for the european version.
Any idea? Am I doing something wrong? I'm from.El Salvador,.please someone help me!
Sent from my GT-I9000T using XDA App
hmm. the easiest way for you to do it would be to root using Chainfire's method found in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108
READ ALL THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY.
Isnt z4 root more simple? It is a free app found on the market
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
z4 root never did worked for me. tried it just once though. speedmod's root via cwm or CF Root are the ones that worked for me without any miss whatsoever.
My situation
Hello guys.
I am from Costa Rica, I do have the same cel phone version you have.
I tried z4root to temporary root my android, then I proceed to install OCLF 2.0 to remove the lag, but after I restarted the android it didn't come back again.
I was able to turn it on but it were stuck after the samsung introduction video.
Just a black screen and no way to do anything.
I tried to press UP, HOME and POWER to get into the recovery mode but it didn't work, so I almost had a brick.
Lookin over the internet I found a small .bat file that I ran with the android connected using the usb cable and I was able to run the factory reset.
Finally I think I got my cel to normal, but I dont know if there are still a few "orphan files" because of the z4root and oclf 2.0.
I am sharing this experience with you just to let know what may happen with our model, I think most of the apps are made for Europe and North America, we may have a small differences on our phones because not everything is compatible.
Hello, actually I got it in a store, the company in Costa Rica for telephones and communication is called ICE, but they haven't approved the cel phone to work here yet so I did configure it myself.
I think actually my phone comes from UK since all the software was showing UKs config.

[ROM] Android Nougat 7.0 - EMUI 5.0 - VIE-L09C432B360 - 03/03/2017

Google translate:
At last! Today the Official OTA with Android Nougat 7.0 and EMUI 5.0 has been released for the Huawei P9 Plus. It has a weight of 2.39 GB. This is the European version including, of course the Spanish (CUST 432). You do not need to be root. There are two ways to install:
1st OPTION: The simplest. If you have version B180, B181 or B182 follow these steps to install without fail (I have tried without resetting by placing the update in the dload folder of the internal memory or SD card and gives me failures):
A.- Factory reset looking in the phone (Advanced settings) the corresponding option (eye that this erases all the data, photos, music ... etc)
B.- Make sure you have loaded the smarphone slightly more than 60%
C.- Starts normally but only enters the zone (Spain), language and password wifi so that the phone detects automatically and is prepared to update to the new version. You do not need to enter other data, such as your google user or huawei id (you will do it after the update is finished.) Once the normal bootup is completed, the system will prompt you to approve the update and start the update.
D.- As it will take a while, if you want - not essential - you can activate while the developer options that will serve you later to view the phone from the PC and work with your folders. I guess you know how it is done, otherwise find information in this forum because they explain perfectly.
E.- The phone will reboot and you will have ready the version with Android Nougat 7.0 and EMUI 5.0
2nd OPTION: Using the method mentioned above, which is detailed as follows:
A.- Download the ROM from this link -> ROM <-
B.- Later decompresses
C.- Create from the PC a folder in the internal memory, or in the SD card, called dload, it inserts in it the UPDATE.APP (it is not necessary to do the same with the rest of files that contains the zip, but any If this is not going to change anything or create any problem)
D.- Turn off the terminal
E.- Off, press and hold until the EMUI updater, volume +, volume - and power keys appear on the display.
F.- Wait until the update completes
In any case I think you should reset so that you do not have upgrade bugs. To me it gives them to me, but that does not invalidate or create problems in the terminal with which you can try again and again (yes, just in case, do not hold me responsible if something fails)
According to Huawei's own updater instructions, the reboot process after the ROM is installed takes longer than normal (maybe ten minutes), so quiet. In the end everything works perfectly.
Hi guys.
Thanks a lot
But there is no "UPDATE.APP" in the zip ....

I do not accuse u for stealing my or any others guide.
Im just telling that this guide has been on the forum for a while.
If u found out this by your self thumbs up for u.
It is good that people share there guides to help others so nothing wrong with that.
I just wonted to point out that there is guides for this.
And yes people get confused by some guides and do not understand them, no guide is perfect for everyone.
I did my guide when i wanted to flash Nougat to L29C636, so i found a way to do it for P9 and tested it on my P9+ and it worked, so i wanted to share it with others to help since the forum for P9+ is much smaller then forum on P9.

Successful Upgrade from L29C636B202 to L29C636B362
I was able to successfully upgrade to Nougat using the guideline in this thread. The upgrade was flawless, even though I was rooted and running TWRP 3.0.2. All my data is intact and I encountered no force closures or failed apps. The entire update (from FF download to first Nougat boot) took approximately 20 minutes.

Amazon X4 will not OTA, can I sideload to Pie?

I bought an ebay special really cheap x4 and it turns out it is the Amazon version. To make matters even worse; the phone is hungup on a security update it keeps trying but it will not complete. Besides that, the phone is fine.
I would like to update it to the newest version of the Amazon firmware manually, flashing it, if that is possible somehow? I downloaded the firmware from the Motorola Android Team site, now I just need to know how to do it, is it possible to sideload to Pie? The current version it has is Oreo 8.1
Build number OPW28.3
Motorola Version
OPW28.46-21
My phone will download a security update via OTA, but is never able to finish updating it, and so never gets to OTA Pie.

Thank you that is very helpful! I have installed it to my PC and I am downloading the update, which is PPWS29.69-39-6-1
Is it possible to backup the entire phone including the ROM with this application before updating, in case of any problems? I hope it works alright after the update!
I do see this app has "rescue mode", maybe that is all I would need if it goes bad?
Thanks again! Really nice app to upgrade the phone "lenovo smart assistant " to flash the latest update to my Motorola X4!

Ask your seller for instruction on how to install it.
I don't recommend you the fake global ROM, mine came with that global ROM installed, but battery, notifications and performance were terrible.
After 1 week I installed Havoc 2.7, awesome ROM but no BT.
after 1 month I installed the stock ROM using qfil.
to solve the battery and notification issue, I uninstalled the security app trough adb.
after that, the battery improved a lot, charging faster, lasting longer, notifications working.
after 1 month, yesterday, I received the ota (one after another), so now on 11.5.247 ST, very good battery, notifications, Bluetooth, NFC working well so far.
There is any tutorial to uninstall the security app?

Gyroscope... [Giroscopio..]
Mod edit - translated by https://www.deepl.com/translator:
I updated my mobile phone to the Chinese ROM and then returned it to the global one but the gyro no longer detects it, among other things as the screen recorder does not appear either, some aspects in the camera like aloe motion, 8k, all those things disappeared when I returned it to the normal ROM, what is the reason for this problem? Or is there another ROM other than the Chinese one that can return everything to normal
************************
