I've contacted DC-Unlocker and Ministry of Solution to know if it's possible to unlock bootloader and they answer me it isn't.
Does it not exist any way to unlock bootloader of my Huawei Mate 10 pro BLA-L29 ?
Bye

Depends on your build.
I have successfully unlocked mine in December using an unlocking service I found on eBay from "mnz technologies" but it seems they no longer offer it. I also know of a site called "GSMZambia.com" and they claim that they can do it but the service is also unavailable at the time of posting.
So to answer you question: it is possible but probably not at the moment, you'll just have to be on the lookout.

Build installed at the moment is
9.0.0.197 (C432E4R1P11)
So is it possible to unlock?

Nope.
That said, it depends on your build if you can use HCU client to unlock. (Was patched in May 2018).
But there are a few services, all are down at the moment though.

when will it be possible and on what will it depend ?
I'm in the same boat with two new-ish mate 10 Pro's.
Totally up S**t Creek without root. Pulling my hair out in frustration.

I've had correspondence with both DC and ministryofsolutions. They are both saying no
Really don't want to move away from the hardware to another phone but I'm at tipping point..
Any new thoughts?
Anybody?

My exact same reasons for moving away a couple months ago to oneplus 6 and I haven't regretted it for one moment.
Huawei pulled the plug on advanced users and as you can see on this forum the support has been killed subsequently where as oneplus has HUGE community support.
My primary phone right now, with xxx-no-limtis-rom, magisk, xposed and after dedicating my time it gives me a full two days of mild usage time. I passed my mate 10 pro to my daughter but she doesn't get more than one day. Pitty, it's a nice phone with good hardware, but having a manufacturer decide for me what I can do with my phone is just outrageous.
Sorry to flog a dead horse, but has there been any progress in getting bootloaders unlocked for Mate 10 Pros? I wanted to root mine ages ago, but stupidly dropped it and broke the screen. It's taken me a while to get around to replacing the screen and now it's good t ogo, but in that time it appears that all means to root it are no longer valid.
It is a BLA-L09 single-im Mate 10 Pro, which is at stock EMUI and Android of 8.0.0, with build 8.0.0.133(C782) and security patch 1st October 2018. Can anyone give me a definite answer as to whether I can root this, and if so, how?

You can, but you will need to disassemble your phone. You will need to use test-point to write board firmware, then use HCU Client while on board firmware to get unlock code. After this you repair imeis and stuff using HCU, else you will have no imeis or network. There's a lot of work for the code xD When you've repaired you need to flash a dload firmware, preferably 8.0 but it needs to be from after May 2018.
If you plan on using EMUI10 you won't need the unlock code as Huawei removed the ability to unlock altogether, even with the code...
It can be tricky getting the back off as it's IP rated. If you replaced screen yourself you probably have opened it already
Let me know if you want to do it, I can assist you on Telegram.
Also please note that a HCU Client/DC Phoenix license is needed, it's $19ish for 3 days of usage. And you will need BLA Board firmware. Dload to 8.0.0.133(C782) can be found for free on androidhost.ru.

Thanks ante0, appreciate the offer. I had a friend change the screen for me (i'm more software than hardware) so will ask them and see. Sounds like a lot of work. Damn Huawei.
Not using the 10 pro, but normal mate 10 with emui 10. I have option in developer options to enable oem unlock which might be bootloader unlock. and I have unlock code saved from emui 8.
1) Is there a point in unlocking bootloader if there is no development on roms? And is there even a way to root it with an unlocked bootloader anyways
2) I didn't want to lose data trying it if there was no benefits to unlocking it
3) I kind of forgot how to unlock it anyways, if someone had old instructions, I'd be open to testing if it works up to the point of actually doing it because I don't want to lose data.

It doesn't matter if it's Mate 10 Pro or Mate 10,on EMUI 10 you won't be able to unlock the bootloader, even if you have the code.
And no, root is not possible without unlocking the bootloader.
Root huawei mate 10 lite
Hello, my phone is huawei mate 10 lite RNE-L21 8.0.0.346(C432).With EMUI and android 8 and security patch 1st November 2019. Can anyone give me a definite answer as to whether I can root this, and if so, how?
Is there still any possible way to root huawei p8 lite?(2016 version if it matters) I also got reply from huawei official email, that getting bootloader isn't possible anymore. Can anyone help?
Try with services like DC unlocker or FunkyHuawei
Try Kingroot App from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/one-click-root-tool-android-2-x-5-0-t3107461
I currently own SNE-LX1 on Android Pie 9.0 with 9.1.0.229 (C432E4R1P1) Build.
Just wondering if anyone flashed TWRP succesfully onthis version?

I have an option for OEM unlocking though. Haven't tried it since it'll format everything.
Why is the option even there then?

You need an unlock code from Huawei to unlock the bootloader, but since more than a year ago, Huawei doesn't provide unlock codes anymore
Huawei have stopped giving away the bootloader unlock codes, and most of the "3rd party" websites don't actualy provide this - those that promise the code are mostly fake and you should avoid giving them money (unless you like to giveaway money to scammers)
Anyway, even with the unlocked bootloader, you still don't have a TWRP port for the most recent updates of the Mate 20 Lite....
Well, I am using for testing purposes a P8 Lite 2017 PRA-LX1 phone with Android 8.0 on it.
I want to install crdroid because I am using it already on my Samsung S5 Mini and I like it. EMUI just feels really really bad.
HOW do I unlock the bootloader? I am OK with paying DC Unlocker but I absolutely don't understand how to use DC Unlocker.
If there is a free method, I am also ok with that.
Just use DC unlocker, download DC unlocker on playstore for your phone and download the software for pc. On your phone install and open apk and create an account (it cost me R60.88 south African carency you get 4 credits. They give you a user name and password ) now goto to pc and open the software (DC unlocked) goto service put user name and password than goto unlock and then read unlock bootloader put your imei number. They will give u in less than a minute. But make sure you phone in supported mine is Huawei p8 lite 2017 running Android 8.0
help needed,
I have Huawei p10 plus (vky-l29) with a dead motherboard. I bought a good board, but it is locked to a google account. The latest firmware 9.10.292 is installed on it. I tried all the tutorials on YouTube trying to doing a google bypass, but without success
So to summarize, the phone is locked and FRP is locked ...
I also tried to downgrade from 9.0 to 8.0 android dload method with SD card, but without success ... I tried several firmware, downloaded from andoroidhost.ru, but no luck . Phone does not run the firmware installation at all...
I hope, with 8.0 android I would be able to do some of the bypass methods with YT.
The only new thing I managed to find was the potatonv tool, and HWOTA8 method
Could I do a downgrade with HWOTA8, if I unlock a bootloader using the PotatoNV tool method?
Any help is welcome ...
