Just got a Pixel 5 last week after doing all updates it appears it is on December 5 security update. Any answers into why and not Feb's update.

I ended up doing a factory reset it then went ahead and downloaded all the updates. Weird

Second hand phone, or brand new? If SH it could be what the previous owner did for modifications.

well what's the build number after installing? what was it before installing? current factory image sits at LRX21O, so if the final version is different than that then we have some new update to talk about. if it ends up as that then you prob just got updated from pre-release sw to production
i got that 191mb OTA two days ago when i first turned on the phone. Build LRX21O.

That's an earlier build, did you take the initial OTA when you first turned the phone on?

Maybe December-January time frame? Complete guess, but judging how long the VZW 5.1.1 update took, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it takes a bit longer.

Did a complete reset and it fixed it. Phone is draining like crazy now.

I have updated late yesterday.
No problems with the OTA update process.
So far I did not find anything broken!
Too early to say much more.
