Call recording CSC - Samsung Galaxy S20 FE Questions & Answers

I have 5G UAE model G781B
Does flashing THL CSC require any additional steps like unlocking bootloader

As, like you, I don't even knew 'till someone point me, the call recordings are working (again!) on devices. There's a catch though.
I suggest firstly try Call Recorder - ACR from NLL Apps but the app from Galaxy store not that one from G Play and see if it's working for you too. On my ROM (same model) it's all fine. The premium licence, if you have it, you can install it from G Play.
So: the app from Galaxy Store!
Good luck!

Call Recording - Total Recall

I installed Total Recall today to give it a try.
There was a guy on the Note forum that discovered that if you chose option B the phone would hang a bit then go back in and choose C that the Note would record perfectly. The same trick seems to work here.
I wonder if someone can inject some files to a rooted device that would make call recording work.
Has anyone tried any other call recording program with any success?
FYI, we're working on automating these settings (as well as doing some research as to exactly why this affects things as it does). Look for our next update (v1.9.4) to include this settings config automatically for Note users.

Wow. That will be great. So glad I've purchased this already.
Can't wait for the update.
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda premium
I am interested in this too. Configure Option B then C works perfectly until the phone restarts.
Has the new version create a shortcut for this yet?
CallRecorder (Dsoft) works perfectly on 7.7

Xperia Z3 Compact Android 6 Call Recording

So I am using ACR which I bought about a year ago and it worked perfectly.
It worked even with LP on the same phone. But now I have updated to Marshmallow concept and it stopped.
The software dev says Sony has discontinued call recording features in Android 6. Is there a way to bring it back?
In the software, there is a list of "sound sources" I can select from. I used to use VOICE_CALL which worked fine
but now only MIC works so the recordings only have one side (mine).
Maybe there is a way to bring some library from LP to MM?
I'd love to see this fixed on MM as well. It sounds like the developer is well aware of the issues, and is trying to figure out how to make it work. But it'd be nice to just flash something to fix it on our end. Another thread mentioned Skvalex's call recorder works. I tested it, and it does. It asks for root, which ACR does not. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60567345&postcount=49 details how to get a builtin recording button up to lollipop. Not sure if that'd make ACR work or not, if it were ported to MM.

Workaround for call recording without root?

I recently updated my exynos note 9 to android pie. To my despair i realized that I can no longer record phone calls. I use my phone for interviews, so I need the function. Are there any way you can still record calls? I know the note 9 had a build in recording app, but I can't find it.
If it doesn't work are there any way to down grade your phone to Orio again?
Yes you can revert to Oreo
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-9/help/downgrading-pie-9-0-to-oreo-8-1-t3894230
as for incall recording

I use ACR call recorder from App Store
you have to be on Oreo for it to work.
get it before they update the the app to google specification.
the support is very responsive and they actually notified of googles policy change
as long as you don't update the app once the update comes out or use pie you will still be able to record

Having ACR 30.2 on 8.1, today updated to Pie with OTA my European note 9 exinos. After that, ACR still records but the only issue I found is a lower level of the voice of who's talking to me but not mine with the phones mic. I aspected that the app didn't work at all, so I think that only the volume issue is acceptable like this. Having recording source in automatic and I didn't try what happens with more dB (left at 0) in volume with m4a. I know that this release of ACR (30.2) should be the last one still having call log permission that the next one won't have in March for Pie so, in March, may not work any more. So, having this and not updating any more ACR maybe should solve.

yes sir
try on Pie with EU firmware and report back in
With THL trick as described in earlier posts _ try searching_, you have native call recording from both sides. You have wifi calling and VoLTE, too. The only thing that I missed is the RCS chat messaging.
Chat messaging is working with Google's android messaging app , but not with Samsung's.
Can anyone, who made the THL change, confirm if he has RCS chat message working?
Samsung Note 9 EUR/THL, EUR/EE
And is amazing that OTA updates are working normally!

Is there any working call recorder for mi 9t pro exist?

Hi, I am using mi 9t pro global edition with google dialer. I have tried more than 30 call recorder app and none of them able to record call in my phone. Is it possible to record call in this phone in any ways without root? Please write yes or no ?
Rom Xiaomi.eu record calls
Why don't you just root your phone?
It's incredibly simple, these days. Just use this nifty little app:
Great Tool
Still, even after rooting your phone, not too many call recorders
work out of the box. They either only record one side, no side at all
or don't record over BT headset. However, there's one fantastic app
that actually works 100% with our phone/ROM: Skvalex Call Recorder.
Sure, it's pretty darn expensive, but in my opinion it's totally worth it.
Without root, I doubt you'll have any luck, finding a working one.
Just my 1½ cents....

I'm using this app on my Mi 9T Pro global version with MIUI 11:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.boldbeast.recorder
No root needed, it's free, and it works good enough.
Instead of rooting, I would recommend to wait for Xiaomi to release the updated Phone app that will include call recording again.
I use Callrecorder from Skavalex but you have to be rooted to get it to work flawlessly.
It has a module for Magisk and installing that module will let it install the correct app but it is not for free but works perfect.

You're correct - Boldbeast works fine on our phone.
However;
It's definately not "free". If you don't pay up, you have
to manually start recording, EVERY TIME! Sure, it may
be ok to many people, but certainly not to my taste.
To me, a call recorder MUST start automatically!
And about the built in Xiaomi recording;
No one knows when (if) it'll be available on our
phones. Also, as seen on certain ROM's where it
is already available today, the function has almost
no useful settings at all. With Boldbeast / Skvalex
you get the option to choose from an array of good
features; where to store recordings, which calls that
will be saved (in detail), what quality / format you
want to use etc etc. To me, the built in recorder is
just not good enough. But to each, his own.....
Hopefully, the upcoming built in recorder will have more
useful features, better options & better functionality.
But as of today, no one knows what to expect.
Happy Easter to y'all! :good:
Use indonesian rom for call recording
You can still have call recording feature of mi in new phones by replacing your rom with indonesian or indian version. For details contact me at +92 3357402491

Call recorder on T-mobile S10

Hi,
According to https://www.androidbeat.com/2019/03/galaxy-s10-record-calls/ , the function is available on the device. But I can't seem to find it. Is it blocked on T-mobile device?
If I have to install an app, which one should I try? Looks like most of apps no longer works.
Thanks
