I am at over 9 hours SOT with more than 10% battery intact yet.
Mostly run at 60Hz, a fair trade off for that kinda SOT.
Mine was similar 9 hours and a half , but with 120hz
Wifi, data, bluetooth on, auto lighting, and was only consuming social media and youtube that day

That is incredibly good. I haven't gotten that kinda SOT with 120hz y let. My phone's continuously connected with a smartwatch as well. But even at 60Hz, the trade off is fair enough.

Can't say it's farily good...theoretically it should give more than 10 hrs at 60 Hz.

It all depends on the use, and the time you use it, for example, if you use it nonstop with social media with a 100% cycle charge, I think with 60hz it would last 10 hours minimum, but if you use it, let's say, 3 screen hours a day, your battery will be over in day two with 6 SOT, becasue the standby drains aswell

I agree, but at the end what matters is reasonably good SOT overall and no idle battery drain. If these two are ok, everyone will be happy.
I just got 5-6 hours SOT, i dont know what cause it. Maybe you can share tips how to get long SOT on redmi note 10 pro? Thanks before
BB belongs to personal use.
I i am more kinda light user and i have about 3 hrs SOT but 3 one charge is enought for me to run the phone for 3 days
Note 10 Pro (Indian, 128GB)
Dark Mode ON
Data ON
120 hertz ON
Battery Saver OFF
Bluetooth OFF
Location ON
Sync ON
AOD ON (10 seconds)
Brightness ≤ 25%
Orientation Locked (Portrait)
Single SIM, 128GB SD Card
Lite-Normal usage, No gaming and Intensive work
Number of Apps: 107 (Play Store included some system apps as well)
Battery life is really wonderful
Heavy Usage: 6-7 hrs
Normal Usage: 8-10 hrs
Lite Usage: 10-12 hrs
Idle Battery Drain: 1-6% for 7hrs night (observed only once)
(Sorry the SS is dull and dim because I had enabled the option "Adjust text and background automatically" in Display settings, turning OFF later fixed SS)
This phone is dha bomb! Crosses 9hr SOT easy with 120Hz on with 5-7% still left.
P.S: AOD turned off, don't like that feature until LTPO displays are the norm anyways.
Hi everyone.
7h 30m on 120hz
2+ days of comfy, normal use, with high brightness, etc.
(Pixel Experience, will test on 60hz next)
I get a max of 3 hours sot with 120hz and a 80% of battery in the morning. After 2 hours and 45 minutes of screen i have 20% left
8h 45m
120 mHz, light theme, mostly high brightness. Pixel Exp.

It'll depend on your usage, apps Installed, apps that are meant to run in the background like type machine, tasker , filterbox and so on.., they are very useful apps

Which tweaks?
I use tasker to UNDERCLOCK the CPU cores, but yet still keep it at 120hz, it's still smooth, and Greenify to hibernate unused background apps tasker and Greenify work very well together

10hours with moderate use!
6 hours with heavy usage
8-9 Hours (Fb, whatsapp, youtube, xda, browser, no games)
4.5 - 7 hours over 1 - 1.5 days, mid-heavy to heavy use. Sorry, I'm kinda addicted.
I'm only getting 5 hours when my phone gets to 20%, so probably about 5.5 hours. I'm running xiaomi.eu with MIUI optimisation disabled in developer settings. I used to get up to 8 hours with my Mi6, so it's a little disappointing.

i would say something is not right either with that rom version or your actual battery... i get 5h SoT with 50% battery, wifi on, 2 sim active, auto brightness, moderate use (maybe 20-30 min daily gaming)...
2 days and 8 hours, not best but good. multirom stable 9.5
Getting 7-8 hours SoT with Mi Band always connected and app opened. Latest EU Stable
Great
Thats impressive!??

Opps.. sorry brother.. my bad!?
My battery life on Miui Eu, 3~4 days, 4~5 hours SOT, 3% by night. Always similar.

7.45 to 8 hours SOT (Always LTE , Moderate Brightness , Full Volume , Mostly YouTube Streaming , Browsing )
10.00 hours SOT (moderate usage, removed bloatware, low-medium brightness), amazingly good battery life!
About 8 hours of SOT

You can use apps like Lucky Patcher if you're rooted. If not, you can follow this tutorial - https://www.xda-developers.com/uninstall-carrier-oem-bloatware-without-root-access/
I personally debloated my Redmi 5 with the tutorial, because I don't have root currently.
7-8 hours, about 4 of them are gaming, some anime watching and a bit of youtube and chrome
I have 2gb/16gb verient.
Lets start with charging-
redmi takes 2 hours from 0 to 100%. First 90% charged in 90 minutes.
Battery Backup- I got around 12:30 hours of Screen on time.
Usage- Browsing (Kiwi browser in night mode) and youtube most of the time. rest music and tried a game for 30 min (Honkai Impact 3rd) as game was lagging so i uninstalled it. Sync was on for 3-4 hours and location services was turned off.
Brightness- 40-50%
Data Usage- 70% wifi and 30% 4G/3G
Note- Those charging curves in the graph are from the pc as i was transfering some files and second time i was debloating the device. No Battery saving mode, No change for animations.
From what I've gathered; the SOT of this phone is great but...
What about stand-by time?
Can anyone tell me how much battery percentage the phone looses at night (~8 Hours)?
To me, anything beyond ~5% with 3G cellular data turned on (4G is overrated!) is unacceptable.

Without sync, wi-fi and cellular data, it drains 1% per 10 hours for me. With sync and cellular data/wi-fi, it would drain 3-4% per 10 hours.

So taking a look at my screenshot after a long 14 hour work day I'm down to 35% yet with only 1.44hr of OST. I've seen numerous reports about 5/6/7 hours OST but the most I've gotten was 5 hours and change with the battery all the way down to no more than 10% and that's with battery saver automatically activated at 20%. I do not have force 90hz on anymore for the past week and I'm currently rooted in December patch stock kernel and minimal magisk modules installed. Running substratum of course and Viper. Nothing else really fancy going in with my setup. Been eyeing down better battery stats and nothing is hogging battery consumption in the background. Any thoughts on this would be very much appreciated. And yes I'm aware of the disappointing battery size but I believe I should still be seeing much better performance than this.
It's normal for a device with a small battery. Check if you have any wakelocks and start carying a portable charger
Do you have the P4 XL?
I'm on force 90 hz, mobile network all day, 90% brightness level, rooted with magisk, only thing I'm not using is motion sense (not available in my country and don't want to force it with any module yet) and get 6-7 hours SOT easily
You "Full charge lasts about" is still a decent 19 hour and 15 minutes so do you always end around 35% and under 2 hours SOT? Do you stream something with the screen off most the day?

I'm always checking for walelocks and I have nothing abnormal going in there and I even have a dozen apps battery restricted
FFS, don't believe the stupid train on SOT being a remotely valid indicator of a device's battery life. your SOT will never match the next person's nor will it be a reliable indicator that you'll get that amount the next day. you should be measuring your battery drain rate and determining what's causing your battery to get eaten up through the day.
I do agree that SoT is not a good indicator. For starters, a device with a screen at 100% brightness doing the same workload as a device with a screen at 50% brightness will have wildly different SoT. The SoT is only perhaps relevant to you individually, and only after a long time of use when enough data was gathered for you to know the actual average SoT.
I mean my full charge lasts about 16 hours, but yet some days get 7 hours sot and others 3, it's all in how you use it. I'm still stock and haven't rooted.
I am software version shown in ss
I just bought the phone and only getting sot 30 mins for 10% of battery consumption i got like 4 and half hour of sot for 73% battery consumption i thought x2 pro have around 8 hr sot help me it's frustrating
Well that calculates to more than 6h SOT, which isn't that unrealistic if you used 4g and max screen brightness all the time, but there might be something draining the battery. Check the usage details. I see you use something connected to bluetooth so that might be causing the issue.
Bro i was using the brightness at 27% and nothing was connected to the Bluetooth
I installed betterbatterystats (bbs) xda edition and gsam battery app with adb rights. So you can see the deep sleep with bbs and the times of dot/phone time/ect and which app use how many ampere.
In this charging time I get 4,5 hours dot with 40 hours phone is on. I have now 34%.
Debloating, netguard firewall, no energy saving, always 90 hz.
Also i am having fps dropping issue during online gaming like pubgm or codm
What should i do to get normal 60 fps as this phone has 855+ so i can get 60 fps normally
I'm having even worse SOT and I have the same realme ui version.
I'm not as much hardcore user as a lot of you and looking at 4k mah battery I thought that I will be getting at least 7h SOT.
I'm not playing any games, right now most of the time phone is connected to wifi. What should I do? Debloat my phone? Is it somehow dangerous for my software? Can i ever go back to normal version?
location services destroyes battery on this device
i disable it for one day just to see the difference and it went from 4 hours SOT to 6 hours plus
always talking full brightness wifi some 4g 90hz
and from 100% to 1%
You have like almost 30 hours of standby, and if you use always on display, then that's at least 30% on that. If you consider this then it doesn't look that bad. You do the math. The other guy's stats concern me more.
You will need to make some adjustments, battery can be excellent but you have to be realistic,
Check out App quick freeze and freeze the apps you don't use.
Dark mode,
AOD off,Screen light effects off,
You just got the phone, tinker with it a while to see,
Also battery will drain a lot when your setting up the first day
Hi, I get 9h SOT after 3-4 days of using my S21 Ultra Exynos (since I received it) and 2 full days since last charge. Attached screenshot. I am happy so far and I think SOT will further improve in few days, after the system settles down and the battery reaches full optimization. What do you think? Is it good or bad? What about your SOT?

Yes, Exynos 2100
After just 1 charge, i have this SoT (6 hours 32 minutes) with S21 Ultra Exynos 2100. I think it gonna be even better within a week or so.
4G/3G = about 50% of the time
Battery Save mode (It kicks in only when the phone gets a little of juice)

Bluetooth only on when in the car
Email sync, but every hour
