Everything is fine including gaming experience, it is a lot better than any buggy 8.1 Oreo rom, but there is an annoying issue that I want to fix:
The Low Memory Killer is too aggressive that I can't use it to be multitasking, I just could keep it opened about 2 apps in the background, any solution?

in fact I usually don't install gapps so I didn't this time.
but pico is definitely ok .
personally (when I install gapps) I use aroma so I can install what I want and leave the rest??

As dual-sim not working on any lineage os, Is there any custom rom that has dual sim?

I have an SM-A500G which has dual sim but of all the roms I have tried, there is a bug with dual sim in all of them. Could anyone suggest any custom rom that supports dual sim and is pretty recent (android 10,9,8,) ? I highly respect all the works of the devs.
Also, RIl Fix does not fix dual sim in SM-A500G varient.

No, this is for the A5 (2015) series. Yours is the from 2016

Sorry but this ROM is for a totally different phone. The rom is for Samsung Galaxy A5 2015 and not for Samsung Galaxy A5 2017. You can find roms for your device from here: https://theunlockr.com/roms/android-roms/samsung-roms/samsung-galaxy-a5-2017-roms/

Thats weird. The FU varient of the device is meant to come working with sim and cellular network straight out of the box. The sad part is that there are RIL fixes for other variants of the device but not for the FU variant as it is thought to be working immediately after flashing rom.

If you are not on Q BL it will not boot.
I would suggest 3.2.3 TWRP.
For encryption to work make sure you are on 3.2.3 twrp and haven't formatted /data with any newer versions, issue described here.
Use a stock unmodified vendor and update whenever available, we are using our own fstab now for optional encryption and adoptable storage support so we don't need to touch the vendor.
If you go back to an official build after this with stock vendor, you will be force encrypted on first boot.
These builds are based on the unofficial lineage device trees (Synt4x.93) and official lineage kernel, but with my preferred configuration. Also I'm adding few extra options into the ROM sources (open to feature request).
My builds uses pixel fingerprints to pass safetynet without flashing magisk/magisk hide props. Twrp will show google/flame id when flashing, this is normal the builds are for 9810 devices and will boot and work fine.

Help! Video recording is broken.
It isn't. It is just broken with the default camera app that ships with the rom. Install a third party camera app.
I can't toggle USB modes
Yeah, known bug. Go to the developer settings, default USB configuration. From there the toggle works.
Our device has hardware keys. Why is the option for full screen gestures there?
I left it there in case someone wants to toggle it on while using hardware keys at the same time. Unfortunately, the back gesture is broken for some reason.
DT2W is broken
It is there. But DT2W and AOD are not allowed at the same time. Pick one.

Oh, yeah. Forgot to add that to FAQ. AOSP doesn't support "light up on button press" options, that's lineage stuff. There's that as well.

I've been installing custom roms on my phones for about four years. I know how to install, how to wipe. How can something that works in other roms not work in this rom?

great performance but i cant use the rom some kind of issue with the reliance jio means i can use internet but no calls or messages
Edit: lineage os and other roms based on lineage os have the same issue the only one which worked was Rise Q 2.1

Please tell me how to restore or return the original certificate for the IMEI number without the Chimera patch?

This ROM was a one off build I did just for fun to see how pure AOSP feels like. But given that projects like treble and official LineageOS 18.1 are now available that are superior to pure AOSP in every way and given that I don't have enough HDD space to maintain two roms at once, I have decided not to continue with updating AOSP.
I'm having this thread locked and suggest everyone to switch to other projects mentioned above.
