1. Uninstall the WhatsApp you have installed
2. Go to https://www.whatsapp.com/android
3. Download the WhatsApp version on this download page
4. Your WhatsApp will work now

What I've to say is
I bought my Z20 like 3 weeks ago directly from China and it has CNC V2.21
I tried installing Google services using Google installer and some similar Chinese apps
But google services just won't work
So i decided to Install TWRP
I looked all the threads on different sites

All these sites has different Drivers which had me confused
Plus I can't seem to find that twrp.img file which everyone is talking about
but there's one thing I don't understand
I downloaded Drivers to my pc
TWRP application to my phone and everything
But when i tired to fastboot it i just couldn't click on that only "Fastboot" option
And I'm stuck in the bootloader every time
I know i might be doing this wrong
So i need help

( I don't know what option he chose at 10:05 maybe he chose Reboot to recovery but when I'm doing that it's not working it takes to that interface where there are 2 options
1. Chinese
2. English
Selects English
And then there are four options
1. Local update package
2. Wipe data
3. Reboot
4. Power off
There's this guy from a group ok Facebook who installed Google services i tired his method too but no success

recently I flashed Red Magic 3 V3.34 (official version), Then i saw that there is no support for google play store, so I use nubia red magic 3 unbrick tool and i came back to global rom there wasn't any problem. but then i thought chinese rom has full screen gesture so i thought i should experience that rom then i got an update in chinese rom Red Magic 3 V5.11 (official version) i used that room too but few days ago i thought I need google play store for some of my UPI payments app. Then I try to flash Nubia Red magic 3 unbrick tool but then my device got corrupted. i retried with different windows and nubia red magic 3 and 3S unbrick tool But i'm Not succeeding, So if anyone here with some knowledge please help me, I can't afford new device for now and I don't have any other phone, Today I came here (cybercafe) to get some help from some Expert, So please XDA DEVELOPERS Help me.

I had the same issue but then I kept trying the unbrick tool more than one time and somehow it worked

But in my case its always device corrupted, I did continuously 6-7 time ( Unbrick tool)
but always correupted

Hello everyone, I am not a developer and don't really understand much of the ROM ROOT world and similar.. But I have a huge problem with my Mi 8. After the updating to MIUI 12.05.1 I could no longer open the Google play store, it kept crashing as son as I tapped on the icon, for that reason I uninstalled it and then I had to download the apk directly from the browse. But even after i reinstalled it, it kept on crashing, not working. I also have google maps and gmail on the phone, which I have not unistalled but I cannot sign in them nor add google account either in youtube or in the phone.
I currently live in Italy but I bought this phone in 2018 in China, so it's the chinese version, this is what makes it even more difficult to understand how to repair it.
I don't know how to solve this problem..
If there's anyone that had the same experience or anyone that has any idea on how to solve this problem please help me, I'd be very grateful. Thank you very much
Are you sure you installed the right version for your phone?
I think the latest version is 12.02. At least that's the version I have...
Did you solve your problem in the meantime?
just wipe, format entire device and reflash with global rom (choose fastboot methods)..

It went on auto update, and then I checked in the info and it says 12.05. Btw I haven't solved the problem yet

P40 PRO+ should work. but GSF is really random. Unfortunately, if it does not show up in step 20 after you attempt triggering it from Google Play Store, then you will need to start over again.

Push is still an known issue that have no solution yet

It was working fine until Google Play Store was updated. Now, I have to redo the process again.
Hopefully, it will work again but for how long?

I tried 10 times with 3 times getting 1 number and letter but each time I get this device is not play certified. I am able to access the play store. Has Google changed something or is my phone the problem as it was bought in China?

before you are trying to fix this issue, make sure you have uninstalled all the Google related apps: Google home, google maps, google classroom, Gmail, Chrome, youtube, youtube music, youtube kids, Family Link ... Nest, Linkedin (even this is from MS, but it will trigger the Play protect error) ... and there are much more that I cannot list them all. If any of residual apps exist, that will 100% lead to failure. I know it is hard to uninstall all of them, i made this mistake all the time, and then later on found out that some hidden app stayed in the phone, which i would need to do it again and again. Therefore, factory reset is always the best to ensure a clean system, but i also understand it is hard for people to reinstall everything and re-login all the accounts.
Another possible reason is: the google play service version, there was an update last month, and so far i found Play Services 21.18.15 is the last good and stable version. you can use that instead of 05... file from the preparation files.
