Today I noticed the absence of the pocket mode. During a walk, I noticed the screen blocked by too many wrong attempts in the password insertion. Next, I was playing some music and all of a sudden, music stops. I searched for pocket mode in settings, knowingly that xiaomi has that option in miui, but nothing. Sometimes xiaomi gets wrong some minor details and that confuses me.

today i decided to drop some music on the phone.
the player im using is winvibe it plays but as soon as the screen goes to sleep
it stops the player from playing, this effect happens when i listen to streams from
shoutcast after 30 seconds its dead.
another really annoying situation with this phone is i have permanently disconnected
gprs using some software however though when the screen goes to sleep mode
the icon for wifi is replaced with the "G" even though that service is no longer available

PS..... today i bought another battery for the phone
On my P4000, (ex also has the diamond) I went to Windows Media Player, the actual app, then clicked on options, buttons.. toggle screen, and set it to enter (middle button). I left the play/pause unbinded since I can simply hit play/pause on screen. This has been around forever and should be the same for the diamond.

an after thought.
it just seem like everything i want to do on this phone has a stumbling blocks all
too happy to be in the way or is this a windows thing.
has this always been the case for win mobile users where you had to suffer effects of
bad battery, intermittent freezes, unresponsive button due to cpu busy if so then ill
stop moaning and put this down to bad investment if not then ill continue to moan
till i get the hang of this expensive device that does not work as i think a quality
phone should operate.

Does anyone know how to stop the device returning to the Touchflo 3D home screen every time I wake the device up? I have a Touch Pro but no-one seems to know the answer to this in the forum and I guess it's a TF3D issue.
I can't find anything about this on a search, but I'm sure I remember reading about it in the Diamond forum.
It's annoying when it goes off when I'm writing a text message or in a call or listening to music and I have to navigate all the way back.

yes... i have the exact same problem.
To add to it, I've set autolock also. When I'm trying to watch a vedio on you tube, and if it's taking some time to buffer, the phone locks. And upon unlocking, i'll find myself in the home screen... and have to navigate back to youtube menu all again.
Very uncomfortable behaviour, especially when you are trying to show off the features on your phone to friends...
Is this solved in any new ROMs... or is there a tweak for setting this right?
I like the autolock thing - it's great. However when I'm writing a message or something it is so annoying.
Also, because the screen on the Touch Pro goes off in calls, it always goes back to the home screen so you can't see the call status, can't add notes and can't read contacts as easily. More annoyingly, my line of work involves phone systems that require entering numbers a lot so I always need to see the phone keypad. Very annoying.

My device is completely stock.
I have noticed that the screen will randomly wake on its own to the lockscreen.
If i get a notification it does this however will also do it with nothing apparently new having happened.
Any ideas?
I noticed this before on my P9-L:ite but haven't seen it yet on my P10. In my case, I believe it happens when the phone loses or regains internet connectivity. Since networks are kind of spotty where I am, it happens somewhat often.
i have the p10 plus and i have the same situation...... any solutions?
Mine only does this when receiving a snapchat from someone. Could it be app related?
My one week old P10 plus has the same problem. It happens when I lock the phone while any app is active (I tried with a few apps). However, it doesn't happen when I lock the phone while the home screen is active.

started happening to me a few days back aswell; I noticed the change after shooting some balls with my phone in the pocket, screen facing the skin. At some point the phone got insanely hot. When I picked it up all sorts of s*** happened, as if my thigh was able to make touch inputs through the pants? Notification center / quick settings were all toggled randomly. Flashlight, geo location and hotspot were switched on whereas Wifi and Bluetooth were off (which is unusual). And the camera was running with fully brightened screen, which I think was main reason for the heat.
I wasn't sweating extensively; meaning the phone wasn't wet in my pockets or something–
And I don't know if the random screen wake up enabled my thigh to make the touch inputs or of something else happened which from then on let the screen randomly wake up– chicken and egg, you know :F
I've searched far and wide and can't find a solution for this issue.
Here is what happens: for no reason that I can see (no new notifications), my screen turns on its own. My phone is just there on the table when this happens and I haven't touched it.
This happens whether the phone is plugged in or not. It happens in the middle of the night and wakes me up.
Things I came tried:
- turn on do not disturb and remove all exceptions.
- disable always on display.
- disabled all lock screen notifications.
- disabled a notifications.
Other things I've tried:
Lift to wake and all other things that could wake the screen.
Did a factory data reset and re setup my phone from scratch.
Nothing works. Can anyone please help me?

I had the very same problem until a few days ago when this behaviour suddenly stopped. What changed? I had shutdown my Pebble watch and connected a Wear OS watch to my phone.
I don't know what the Pebble did, but it looks like it woke up my phone at random intervals.
Maybe it a bluetooth device you've connected?
I'm expeciencing sometimes this behaviour when listening to the music on bike with phone in pocked on back. I disabled all "smart" funcions like smart lock, pocket detecting, wearing detection etc and it stopped.
I think it is caused by new type of proximity sensor used in whole S10 line (so I think it is hw related). I read somewhere than it detects skin proximity even thru several layers of cloting.
It is behaving strange even during phone calls - when put phone down from my ear, it tooks several seconds until screen lights on.
it's one of the things that bothers me a lot about otherwise great phone.

I always loved Samsung galaxy s10. I bought it from my friend who used it for 10 months. I am facing the same issue first I thought it is because he used it for 10 months and some bug appeared but now I came to know its not just me. if anyone knows how to fix it then please post a reply. Hi, recently Google integrated Google auto into Google maps and I went through the settings and I remember activating that damn setting. Now every time I start navigation or if the phone connects to car bt, DND switches on automatically. It's driving me insane. And since then I have been trying to find that setting again but I just can't! I tried to reinstall maps, Google app, Google auto.
Please help!
I noticed a few bizarre gremlins in this phone that I've never seen in any other device
Sometimes the YouTube video starts playing when I've already paused it etc and walked away from the phone
Sometimes it unlocks itself or the screen lock timeout doesn't lock the screen after 60 seconds like it's set to and it stays lit up
Yesterday I had fingerprint sensor unlock and today and let it charge overnight, today fingerprint unlock has unset itself and only the pin or face unlock is working
Very bizarre behavior I've never had from a phone before
