Thanks in advance!

I couldn't get to it either, but the reference was from 2013. This forum section you posted your thread in might be it's replacement....

Information displayed on soft reset screen

I know that this is a real newbe question and I HAVE searched for it.
I get the following information displayed in the screen during a soft reset...what is this telling me?
R 1.27.14.09
G 22.45.88.07H
D 1.62.00.00
I am assuming it has to do with ROMs, Radio, and such but it is not clear which is which.

First.. Why would you start new tread if you could post your question in the Energy ROM tread in which you would get much easier answer????
Second: reading and understanding before moving towards to possibly screw up your device is first thing to understand
Anyhow if you wanted ROM as same as in the picture then you need to flash Energy.BLACKSTONE.23542.Sense2.5.Mar.05.7z
..

Did you install hspl or use uspl to flash the rom? Read the following - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=505377.
ok, 2 users have responded to assist you.
Firstly, Bulldog, who quite rightly asked why you didn't post this in the NRG thread in this forum instead of creating a new thread
Secondly, ClydeB1, asked whether you used HSPL or USPL which looks like a good starting point, and he also directed you to thread.
I suggest you ask the question about rom in NRG thread and ask for flashing assistance in dummies guide thread (link from ClydeB1)

[DRIVERS]drivers for BCM 21553 is on TEST....

Drivers for setchip BCM21553 is created, now currently in test...
message from NICK L.:
Hi all,
First, _sorry_. I was travelling in Taiwan and then had a vacation and didn't leave someone with the keys to this vehicle to update whilst gone.
So, the update is:
* Broadcom has officially blessed the driver release for BCM2153 in binary form to start with
* We have prepared a package already for generic base bands and need to test it - will be pinging for testers in the mean time
* RasberryPI drivers came out! Hopefully an encouraging sign for you
On my side, I will pull a few others into a support forum as I will be disappearing again any day for a few weeks (my first child is quickly on its way).
Thanks again for your patience - a very busy time of year for Broadcom basebands.
Cheers,
Nick.....

Question Custom ROM in Chinese S8+ Tab

Hi, I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S8+ in Jingdong (in Mainland China) and I'd like to install another ROM so I can use Google Services normally. I've seen the guides and I'm ready to follow them, but I'm not really sure of what ROM should I install to achieve my goal. Thank you so much for your kind help.
Hi and welcome to XDA, @Archimboldi. Normally, if you click the red "Development" quick filter at the top of the list of threads in this section, you would find what ROMs are available, however, there are none:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
But if you instead click the yellow "How To Guide" quick filter, the only thread there that I think can possibly help you is the third one down - [How To Guide]Your Average GSI Guide:
GSIs are very basic officially supplied ROMs. I am unfamiliar with where you get one compatible with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8/+/Ultra, though. You should probably ask in that GSI thread if a general internet search doesn't help.
Good luck!

Thank you so much. Yes, I have thoroughly searched the internet (Chinese and Western) with no luck. I'll give a try. And thanks for the advice on the forum rules, I'll follow them from now on.

Soft-Bricked A71, need help.

So, I rooted my hand-me-down Samsung A71, and enjoyed learning about the process and experiencing it. Now, here's the problem. I soon found out that it is just not worth it to root this obscure (*Ahem*) phone, and uninstalled Magisk through the Magisk manager. I checked that the phone had indeed unrooted, and then tried to lock the bootloader. I forgot to flash the stock firmware. And now I have a phone boot looping into recovery mode, and just not allowing me to access the OS. When I try to flash stock firmware through Odin, it freezes. ****.
I screwed up. Help. This thing is very dear to me.
I checked for ways to force-flash, and found EDL and QPST. But this method requires the damn firehose/.mbn firmware file for my A175F A71, which I just can't seem to find.
Should I contact Samsung to generously provide me the firmware, or what? Any suggestions highly appreciated.
P.S: Will soon attach a video of it.

I can't, and that is precisely the problem. When starting the device, it straight away takes it to recovery mode, and tries to lock the bootloader continously, but just can't because of the firmware. It doesn't let me do anything.

I managed to unbrick my A71! The above attachment is of it. I was such an idiot. Even in such a circumstance, you can go into download mode, and unlock the bootloader. I did so, set up my A71, and enabled Usb Debug and straight away flashed stock firmware, and THEN locked the bootloader. Damn was I scared. Thanks for your help, Ahmed.
