the closest thing to this request is the cleanOS TWRP flashable builds uploaded here. even then with TWRP you have to have the zip in internal storage.

thank you for the rwply.
but i would still need ro access developer options which is also unavailable or greyed out and my fone would need to be rooted in order to use TWRP....but i stand to be corrected

[ROM][DDJPA][Gingerbread] Get Indian galaxy tab 7 to stock DDJPA

Hello
i have an Indian galaxy tab 7 p1000
recently i flashed it with gingerbread unoficially
now i need to flash it with stock rom for gingerbread in India
edit 1: It had p1000ddjm2
edit 2: Multiupload is dead so all links are too
edit 3: DDJPA You can download it from http://db.tt/E5bdK66R
edit 4: due to generating excessive traffic dropbox has disabled my public links. post your mail ids if you want it i will add it to shared dropbox folder
Same problem here.
Anybody please help.
TIA
Sent from my GT-P1000 using XDA App
CHECK, you will get your 'p1000ddjm2', flash with 'Odin', try rooting and change to Indian CSC (search..!) and Kies should update automatically...
Samsung galaxy tab 7" in India gets Gingerbread.
after installing DDJM2 kies goes into connecting loop
new firmware DDJPA 2.3.3 has to be manually flashed

Does your phone get recognized by Kies you should be able to do it
Only if you have flashed another rom do you have to do it manually
First know how to use odin.

yeah have used odin before. my problem was exactly the same as yours. after using overcome for a while, used odin to get back to DDJM2. but after that kies wont recognise my tab anymore and enters connecting loop.
the flash files were exactly what i needed. thanks a lot

there's another thing I need to know before i flash. it looks like the modem.bin and CSC files are contained in a single file in the DDJPA flash file you posted above. does this mean i do not need to specify the 'CSC' and 'phone' files in ODIN? I mean, specifying only the 'PDA' file on ODIN will be sufficient, right?

if you have rooted your device you have probably made your warranty void.
if you know how to use Odin i would recommend you to flash 2.3.3 DDJPA manually

Ya..But yesterday I finally got the notification and got my Tab updated to Gingerbread.. Had to root it again for making some apps like ROM Manager, Root Explorer work..(used ODIN 1.7 and help from Google }
Observations : NFS Shift does not work..the screen goes off after EA logo..
The RAM utilized is always more than 300MB even in Flight mode,..(using ADW launcher) Even if try to kill running apps, the max i get is 290 MB utilized RAM..
E-book and Daily Briefing - Missing !!
I updated the firmware with odin 1.7.
But later i found "E-book" and "Daily Briefing" go missing !!
Additionally i see "Music Hub" added in the menu.
Can anyone confirm if the missing apps are absent in firmware or just in my tab as i flashed it over "DXJPI" and didn't flash/reset the device to retain the data.

But no Audio/Video support in GTalk
any fix for this ???
dont know abt dxjpi
@hex007
can u confirm if you have Audio/Video support in GTalk or not !
It was not that easy for me. The device was originally from Arab region on which i had managed to load Indian ROM.
GB loaded and Odin gave pass, but again went back to download mode. On a hunch i tried using the old CSC and Modem file and voila it restarted. But then went and got stuck with invalid certificate. Cleared up the cache and hurrah! restarted to Indian GB
Many thanks for the ROM file.

Keep in mind, said ROM is not rootable directly. So if you want to root it. First root your currant ROM, get mobile odin n flash with it.
otherwise
- Open Odin
- Dont select re partition
- select *Code file in PDA
- Modem in Modem
- Multi CSC in CSC
flash..
Whats new in This ROM??
it's here

It has nothing to do with where you are, but what your CSC tells Sammy.
Anyway, don't accept this new update because you'll lose root.

Don't be lazy, do a forum search.

For those who want to flash the latest ics rom from GB rooted rom., Please follow the instruction provided by DR.ketan, I did follow his instruction completely and ICS loaded with rooted.
I would not say the given instruction will 100% work to all user since we might not know what really mess up with your personal storage after flashing rom and mod so many times.

I'll be interested to know if upgrade works with mobile odin. And also if root can be kept this way.
BTW, downloading too.
Is it multi-CSC?
Thread in General, poster said mobile odin from CM9 -> root achieved! http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25911144&postcount=89
Careful, people. You might not be able to revert to any other Rom if you flash it straight away.

[Q] N7000XXLPT update via OTA impossible

Hello everybody; I have a Galaxy Note N7000 with android 4.0.3 with the following characteristics:
- PDA:LPY / Phone: LPT / CSC: LP5 (PHE) (unbranded from spain) and band version is N7000XXLPT
Two days ago i checked if there is an update via OTA and i have found a new one with a download of 549.02 MB. I accepted the install and after the rebooting it says that there is an error and advised me to update it with Kies. But in Kies there isn't any proposed update.
I tried twice without success. What should i do ?
Thanks an advance.
if your phone is rooted and has a custom recovery then it wont install the OTA

No isn't rooted and have never been rooted before
in that case download the latest rom from samfirmware.com and flash it using Odin if you want to update.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1424997
My question. Why i'm in this situation? Usually when there is an update it occurs in Kies and OTA in the same time, or only on Kies but never in OTA only
recent update may be. not yet released for kies. should be there in couple of days
Thank you so much
always on OTA and nothing in Kies for a week now !!!
is it normal?
I can not update via ota too.
My note has an official 4.0.3 android.
Don't u think that maybe a software (for example my avast anti virus) prevent my note to update?
Should i factory reset?
As per Sammobile.com your firmware for PHE is not updated to JB.
http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/1/?model=GT-N7000&pcode=PHE#firmware
There is no JB update for Spain yet. If you really want JB I suggest use Germany LT4 and flash it using ODIN. Or
Try this:

Not completely true: the new XXLT5 from today has PHE as CSC for Spain and as default CSC Portugal (TPH).
I confirm, finally the update on Kies is online.
I'm updating now my Note.
However i don't know if it's a good one.
According to Samobile the version is PDA: N7000XXLSZ CSC: N7000XXLS4 Is it the good one like German?
It don't want to update nor in OTA nor in Kies. Should i reset my phone?
No Idea ?

Hello, it's from http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/
1- you enter the reference of the phone model, in our case it's N7000
2- According to the region of your phone firmware you should choose the exact firmware (be careful when choosing, it's very important)
