I wanted use navigation swipe gesture like oneplus and google pixel phone, but vivo provide only 2 gesture
1. Swipe up to home screen, and swipe up and hold to open recent apps
2. Swipe left side or right side of the phone to go back.
Can you elaborate what do you mean by navigation swipe gesture? Because the 2 options you mentioned use swipe gestures themselves.

I was using OP7P before this and I am not really sure what you mean by that. I had slide from the bottom to go home or open recent apps.
Slide from bottom left or right to go back.
Vivo has slide from the bottom and swipe from left or right to go back which are the Android 11 gestures.

Yes. Swiping back and forth on ‘navigation bar’ in the bottom doesn’t switch apps. Swiping from edge of screen goes back to previous screen alright. Using VIVO X60

How to Force Android 10's Gestures to Work with Any Custom Launcher
One vital part of Android 10's new navigation system is the "QuickStep" gesture. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen, then pause. You'll see your recent apps along with a dock containing a handful of icons for quick access. This dock is provided by the phone's launcher, which means your home...

That isn't the case here, in my Vivo X60 the only available (and correctly set) values are:
Bash:

[ ] com.android.internal.systemui.navbar.gestural_extra_wide_back

You have to enable that function in the settings for navigation. It's disabled out-of-box for some reason.
I am talking about this feature. it is now available in vivo x70 series
With origin os it worked for me. In funtouch os it doesn't work. I just want to switch between apps when I swipe in the bottom bar

I was just thinking today it would be really cool if the on screen buttons were removed and replaced with swipe up gestures from the bottom of the screen. Is there anything that does this or something similar?

Swype Navigation in the play store. Requires root.
My favorite nav bar alternative is pie. Lots of different setting. I swipe from the right and get a pie shaped nav bar there.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=jun.ace.piecontrol
That's the free version. There is a paid one as well.

Sounds just like regular Immersive mode. A lot of custom ROMS include this.
There is also the Fling interface one. might be like swype navigation, not sure.

For me too, the very best you can choose between swipe gestures, pie, invisible swipe gestures, or all at the same time !!!
Here is the link for OP : LMT Launcher
Can someone make a module that replace the navigation and with gestures like on iPhone X? I really like the idea and I want to see it on Android .
Thanks!
+1
What would be the gesture for the back button? Swiping to the sides switches apps in the iPhone. The android ui relies on the back button.
Check all xposed modules

I don't know what exactly you are looking for, but have you tried Xposed Edge Pro? It is fantastic... and powerful. Probably will fit your needs.

Besides it Xposed Gesture Navigation also deserves a try.

I use swipe down on right edge center.
Up is menu.
Press and hold top is fast upwards.
Press and hold bottom is fast downwards.
Press and hold center is a pie app switching related.
Press and hold left edge center is general pie.
Press and hold bottom edge center is a pie clipboard related.
And lots of other stuff..... All with Xposed Edge Pro.
Needs Refinement
I love UI changes, so over the years I've tried things like Android Pie, Gesture control, exposed modules, and even multi window stuff all the way back in the tablet days of Android Honeycomb.
The problem is the lack of response breaks them.
When I swipe from the bottom I need instant feedback (visual/audio/haptic or all three) as to whether or not the phone thinks I'm scrolling down or going home.
When I realize I am scrolling down/going home and I want to be doing the opposite action, I need to be able to stop the gesture mid-way and reverse my action.
I need to easily be able to distinguish between the two gestures so that if I do mess up, I know what to do to get the desired result.
I need all other apps to accommodate/not request this gesture.
The iPhone does this well by having a bottom bar, you pull the bar up to go home, you swipe somewhere else to scroll. There is instant visual feedback, and the action can be stopped midway.
For Android here is a non-clone example.
1. Have a bubble/circle (looks like a chat-head) right where the home button is.
2. Swiping up behaves similar to pulling down (refreshing) on chrome/many apps. You start pulling and there is an animation but the action does execute till a certain threshold.
3. Swiping right-to-left has similar animation but for back button
4. Swiping left-to-right does the same but for multitasking
5. Long press for something else
This is not radically different from other gestures or Android Pie, but I believe the small changes and refinements would take it from being impractical to smooth and enjoyable.
I like the new iPhone X's "swipe bar" and I would love to find it on my android phone.
In my opinion a dedicated visible bar is better than "swipe on the edges".
Why? Because even "swipe on the edges" works obviously with a small area of the screen (otherwise is impossible to detect swipe gestures), but this area is transparent, which is cool but also bad: sometimes when you just tap on that area (when you're typing on the keyboard for example) an involuntary swipe is detected.
So in my opinion a visible bar like the current navigation bar is necessary.
But is definitely unneccessary such a big area!
So I imagine the perfect "swipe bar" a small, minimal and animated (when touched) area.
User should be able to map up to 4 different swipe gestures (up, right, down and left) and tap gestures (one tap, double tap, long press, ...)
I drew some concepts of the "swipe bar", what you guys think?

You mean something like this
Good evening all.
I have, on a Xiaomi smartphone, deactivated the navigation bar in the lower part of the screen, and I activated the "Full screen mode", which allows you to navigate via gestures.
For example:
- A swipe from the border of the screen (left or right) to the center of the screen, to GO BACK.
- A swipe from the lower part of the screen to above, to go to the HOME SCREEN.
- A swipe from the lower part of the screen to the center, to open the TASK MANAGER.
- A swipe, with three fingers, from the upper part of the screen to the center, to take a snapshot of the screen.
And now, here comes my question: does Rog Phone 2 (china roms and/or global roms) has those gestures? And if not, is there a way to get them? I find them pretty useful.
Thanks in advice!
It has them but usually using another app also provides more custom gestures. Fluid gesture navigation and things like that.

Thanks for the answer.
Since I don't think it will be off-topic, can you mention some third-part applications which gives smooth/fluid gesture navigation, and it's not a burden for battery and/or ram for the Rog Phone 2?
Thanks in advice
Fluid gesture navigations is what I would recommend
How can I hide the nav bar so I can just use a different app? Are the adb drivers available for this phone yet?
Edit. I now see that adb is universal. Also I would recommend Vivid N.G. for a minimal style.
Has anyone had any luck customizing 'Swipe left/right and Hold' on their Mi 9t Pro/K20 Pro so it can bring the app slide-out menu instead of going to the previous app? I know it can be accessed via sliding on the top part of the phone but not everyone has extra-long thumbs
I have root access and have tried almost all apps from playstore/xda but none of them seem to work even with MiUi gestures disabled
Never mind figured it out. I don't know why Xiaomi didn't mention that little trick on the gesture menu but If you double tap then hold and swipe left/right it brings out the apps slide-out menu :victory:
Did you mean recent screen by "the app slide-out menu"?
And double tap on where?

No he means any app menu where it slides in from the left.
If you double tap and hold on the left side of the screen it'll start to bring out the menu so you can slide right to access it

The same goes for the right-hand side swipe, provided that the app has a slide-out menu there, like most Reddit apps etc.
Hi There,
I got a little Problem. I updated to Android 10 and so far everything works really well.
There is one thing that bothers me. When you swipe on the screen from bottom up the App Drawer appears. Thats fine so far, but this happens everywhere on the Screen, not only when I swipe from the bottom, but when I swipe from the middle of the screen up it also appears.
Since I got a calendar Widget on my screen this is annoying for I can't slide through my events anymore without opening the App drawer. On Android 9 there were those little dots in the middle of the bottom line favourite apps. Is there any way to get them back and disabling this gesture for the app drawer?`
Thanks in advance.

have you tried Fluid N.G app? it has option to override default emui 10 gestures
The gesture is to wipe up to open the Appdrawer.... if I disable this, I can't open it anymore. I want my button back to open the appdrawer or that only the bottom of the screen responds to the wipe up and not my Widget
