If you are using XiaomiADBFastbootTools to remove the apps, you can easily reinstall them back with the same tool. Uninstalled app are moved to the "Reinstaller" tab.

That's system apps, if you remove them, your phone can crash on incoming calls, you can try install Google Dialer, and Messages on top of the original one.
Or in Global ROM i think there is stock Google Dialer, and Messages, but I think call recording option are not in Google dialer.

@avetny, do you know if we can sync Google Contacts in the MIUI 12.5.4 (CN)?
I've tried a lot of steps, but unsuccesses. I lost my weekend trying to do it.
I can see the option in the dialer app, but when I activity the sync for contacts, the sync stops working.
Once again, thanks.

You might want to check that you've enabled the relevant developer settings in phone before going into fastboot (i.e USB debugging etc...)
Usb debugging is enabled. Are there any other i should enable?

Hi,
You don't do the debloating in fastboot mode!
Just boot up the phone normally, with ADB debugging enabled connect the phone to the PC and it should be recognised (the phone should also ask for authorisation the first time) and in a terminal you should see your phone with the command "ADB devices"

Anyone know how to remove getapps?

Hi everyone,
i wanted to remove duplicate apps like com.android.google.contacts and com.android.contacts (same for calendar) thanks to EMUI.
I did it with adb following guides from the xda-forum.
Afterwards i realized my telephone-app / dialer was gone and i can't find a working apk of a google dialer.
Can someone provide me the official emui dialer apk or help out on another way?
Thanks guys!
first of all, you can flash stock rom to get everything back.... 2nd why not freezes the apps rather then delete them?
how does freezing the app work? I wanted to get rid of the double icons in my apps-drawer...

If you have titanium backup you can basically disable/freeze any app.

Sadly not for me, maybe it's a problem with my european version of the p20 pro
Well titanium backup kan freeze a app when youi have root but you need to do it in ADB if you dont have root.
if you're rooted with magisk, download and install google framework module. It'll allow you to install google phone app directly from playstore.
@aederson, Extract the contents of this zip folder to system/priv-app/Contacts. You will probably need to recreate the Contacts folder. After reboot you should have your dialer back if that is all that was deleted. The dialer is part of the contacts APK so you need it installed to keep the stock dialer. Please hit thanks if this works.
If you are not rooted you may be out of luck aside from performing a system recovery. You can uninstall system apps via adb without root but I haven't found a method of putting them back yet that doesn't require su privilege.
many thanks saskatoon. Same problem here. I think the last option is the factory reset .... or root...

Vanced
The official website of Vanced - a Video client for Android (Not affiliated with Google/YouTube).
vancedapp.com
Disable miui optimisation from developer option and install youtubevanced.
Tap "Reset to default Values" option several times. MIUI optimization option will showed up. Turn it off and then, try to install YT vanced via Vanced manager again

Installing vanced [Root mode] is only possible through vanced manager
If you prefer the non-root mode , the one with micro g.
You can use adb to install it
Link for micro g
Install microg as normal apk
To install vanced [Non Root] without using SAI / Vanced Manager
Link for latest youtube vanced
Extract the .apks file and do the following
Code:
adb install-multiple part1.apk part2.apk part3.apk
Example:
adb install-multiple dark.apk split_config.arm64_v8a.apk split_config.en.apk
I had the same issue yesterday, than I noticed when reinstalling that it says that due to a bug you should install the version .15 and opening it before updating to version .16
I had quite a struggle before noticing that
I hope it'll help

Hi all, Happy User of the CN Mi 11 Ultra. Everything works well so far. The only feature I currently miss is the Google Discover feed on the left screen.
I know that global launcher added this option. Is there any chance to add via side loaded APK?
The only way is to flash global ROM
Why is it so? I was able to install externally downloaded MI Launcher apks. But it seems all of them did not have Google Discover. Could somebody please post the launcher APK from the global ROM?

What security do you degrade exactly? Which aspect of it?
Imagine loosing your phone with Crypto Wallet on it. Which one can be hacked easier - with bootloader lock or without.
And please don't start on how secure unlocked bootloader is. It's just not. Having ability to flash anything on top of the original ROM via fastboot just opens a lot of additional attack vectors. And TWRP will make everything even easier for the attackers. And no I am not paranoid but doing this just for Google Discover is a no go. I would then rather wait and buy a global version of the phone.

Memory extension is probably just a type of swap memory, and since storage flash memory is slower than RAM, when it is in use you can expect lags.

Just updated with your guide. No issues !
One thing to note for the benefit of others: when you reboot for the first time after update and magisk install, the booting time can last a few minutes. You will see the MI logo and 3 dots with running lights at the bottom during this process. Normal.
Also if you have AFWall+ and / or ad blockers like Adaway setup to block your phone from accessing Xiaomi servers, this method will fail because it tries to verify the .zip file by connecting to Xiaomi. So you have to turn off these protections. This to me is actually a little less than ideal, so maybe next time I will see if I can install via fastboot / recovery or something like that.
Of course if this is not a concern, then the guide is still an easy and straightforward way of updating your MIUI. Thanks again to Pho3nX
Strange, it just appeared
My battery life is now very bad with this update...4hrs sot max instead of 7hrs that i used to have. I debloated the phone and disabled everthing.
Today I received the 12.5.7.0 update.
I have just got Vodafone Redmi Note 10 5G that currently has these:
Model M2103K1
MIUI Global 12.0.5Stable 12.0.5.0(RKSEUV
Octa-core MAX2.2G
Android 11 RP1A.200720.0

Baseband version MOLY.NR15.R2.MP.V4.3.P46
Kernel version 4.14.186-perf-g5799a62cc17b
Now I want to use the Xiaomi stock dialler instead of the Google Dialer. I believe for that it needs to use EEA rom.
I also read somewhere that there is a 168 hour wait, but not sure what it is.
Can someone guide me through please?
