So first they hide the MIUI Optimization option in DEV Settings. Then I read somewhere you can get it back by tapping the 'reset to default values' button a few times (once was not enough..) That worked for a moment, but recently I just noticed that the 'reset to default values' option is now greyed out. Any ideas how to disable it now?

So I figured it out. Options were greyed out because I had not autofill service setup. If anyone has the same issue, this is what you can do.
Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Languages & input, then Autofill service set it to Google. Now you can go back to Developer options and the Auto-fill section will be enabled.
Pretty stupid btw, that xiaomi hides this MIUI option in a 'setting section' completely unrelated to this setting
Your a genius this has frustrated the life out of me why it was greyed out now I actually have an always on display cheers m8 great post

Does the same thing on my idol 3. Go to settings /security/clear credentials then to settings/lock screen and you should be able to change your lock screen
Done all that. And cleared the administrator stuff. Still no luck

This is security policy feature ... if you have once set-up password / digital pin / pattern for your device - in some cases you can't simply turn off this feauture. To enable "none" or "swipe" screen lock access you'll need to wipe data / factory reset from Settings menu.
Go to "Backup & Reset"
"Reset Device Settings"
It worked!!! Idol 4

I think i tweak this settings accidentally and I forgot how to go back to that settings.
It's the small pill dialog on the screen when something is saved or something to alert you.
Right now on my mi9t that dialogue will dissappear after one minute and it's annoying because it is above everything on the screen even the keyboard. Can you let me know where is in the settings so i can reduce the time delay of that dialogue? Thanks!
This is the image of what i am talking about.

Hi,
Few days ago I've switched from Nokia 7+ with Android 10 to Google Pixel 5 with Android 11.
When I started customizing channels notification for apps, I have found that when I set it to 'no sound and vibration' they aren't show on lock screen despite setting "Show confidential content only after unlocking":

In Android 10 they are shown. Has this been changed in the latest version, or it is a bug?
Resolved.

It seems, that Google add option for what we can see on lock screen.
Just go to Settings -- Apps and Notifications -- Notifications -- Notifications on lock screen and set "Show conversations, default and silent"

Is the easy mode enabled ?
If yes, disable it: settings > display > easy mode
If not, go to settings > theme > menu > my stuff > and click default. This resets the theme to Samsung's default.
Let me know if it worked
Edit: i found what's causing this:
Go to settings > accessibility > advanced > accessibility button > select actions > uncheck all enabled options
