Is the easy mode enabled ?
If yes, disable it: settings > display > easy mode
If not, go to settings > theme > menu > my stuff > and click default. This resets the theme to Samsung's default.
Let me know if it worked
Edit: i found what's causing this:
Go to settings > accessibility > advanced > accessibility button > select actions > uncheck all enabled options

I think i tweak this settings accidentally and I forgot how to go back to that settings.
It's the small pill dialog on the screen when something is saved or something to alert you.
Right now on my mi9t that dialogue will dissappear after one minute and it's annoying because it is above everything on the screen even the keyboard. Can you let me know where is in the settings so i can reduce the time delay of that dialogue? Thanks!
This is the image of what i am talking about.

That's it! Thanks a lot!
Miui keeps bugging me with this notification once every several days.
I'm perfecly fine with my battery usage and don't want to turn on any additional optimizations (I've pretty much left those settings as-is).
How can I disable this notificaton?
"Battery drain notifiacitons" setting is disabled already.
Long-tap on it doens't allow to disable it.
Settings > Notifications > Security > Notification Categories > Battery - isn't disableable.

So first they hide the MIUI Optimization option in DEV Settings. Then I read somewhere you can get it back by tapping the 'reset to default values' button a few times (once was not enough..) That worked for a moment, but recently I just noticed that the 'reset to default values' option is now greyed out. Any ideas how to disable it now?

So I figured it out. Options were greyed out because I had not autofill service setup. If anyone has the same issue, this is what you can do.
Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Languages & input, then Autofill service set it to Google. Now you can go back to Developer options and the Auto-fill section will be enabled.
Pretty stupid btw, that xiaomi hides this MIUI option in a 'setting section' completely unrelated to this setting
Your a genius this has frustrated the life out of me why it was greyed out now I actually have an always on display cheers m8 great post
