Hello forum
Just bought a fairly new Xperia XZ2 (already updated to Android 10, four months of use, like new condition) from a friend.
Everything works great. The "only" thing I don't like is the "Your device software can't be checked for corruption. Please lock the bootloader" message that appears before the system boot or reboot of the phone. Is there a way to get rid of this message?
Thanks for any response

Hello, everyone. I have searched basically every thread and looked up a lot up posts and couldn't solve the problem which is why I am creating a new thread. Apologies for the same.
So here's the problem on my Xperia Z C6602.
I am stuck on the lockscreen. Can't remember the pattern. Can't login through Google cos the Wifi and Data Connection is off. I tried the service menu code but it doesn't work, I'm updated to the latest version of Android. I can't update/repair phone through Sony Companion cos it says there is no software available. I used the flashtool but it says "Device cannot be officialy unlocked". I went through ADB and the phone connection is perfectly fine (got a 0.5s response) but I cannot unlock the bootloader as I get a FAILED message. I used the flashtool provided by Sony but my phone is recognized as locked and I can't do anything there either. I'm running out of options
Some help would be really appreciated. Thank you, kind people.

You can have a factory reset by pressing few times volume up/down (can't remember up or down) button to enter recovery when the phone is booting with SONY logo
I have been trying to root my phone so I can record in 4K with the default sony camera app. I used Xperia companion to repair the phone back to its original rom which is Nougat 7.0 with kernal 39.A.0.374-R13C which is the hong kong generic.. Right now I'm stuck in a loop and can't get my phone working properly because of the DRM keys. The camera app doesn't work at all and the xreality engine also doesn't work. It's really frustrating and killing me.
I used Fashtool64 to unlock the bootloader and apply andropluskernal v21 and the latest TWRP which is twrp-3.1.0-0-dora.img. Everything was flashed fine with no errors but however, I have one big problem I can't get around. I keep getting "To start "Android, enter your password" I never set up a password on my phone and I have never encrypted it either. This is from a fresh installation with Xperia Companion yet it asks for a password. Guys, please help me I have no other phone. I can't find anything on the internet to help me. Creating a thread here is my last hope. :crying:

Enter a password until it boots, it will factory reset/boot after 30 password attempts
Hey just curious - did you eventually get it fixed? I'm in kind of the same situation - eventually got past the Android password issue, have a functioning system, but no DRM features. Thinking about flashing Androplus' kernel to fix things, not sure if worth it.
Hi all, I've an italian Nokia 7 Plus TA-1055 single SIM.
I was on Oreo 8.1, unlocked bootloader, tried many GSI roms for tests and then I wanted to came back to stock rom for some phone call problems.
In order to do it, during my tests, I did a big mistake, I relocked again the bootloader with fastboot oem lock command without having stock boot, but one with TWRP inside instead :crying:
Now, at every boot, phone shows me a message like this: "Your device is corrupt. it can't be trusted and will not boot[...] the device will shutdown in 30 seconds[...]".
Now, I can boot in download mode, but I cannot flash or boot anything via fastboot, in order to unlock again, and even "nb0 tools FIH Mobile" could not help me (like many others, stucked at "Reflashing service boot" or similar).
Now, what can I do?
Thanks for who wants to help me, every help is appreciated

The "failed update" story do you think that may be right?

Absolutely
Thanks to all, this thread can be closed, I solved with the help of hikari_calyx
I was using the Sony conpanion app to update my phone when we had a power cut mid update.
Now the phone refuses to boot, only message I get is "your device is corrupt and cannot be trusted and cannot boot"
It then restarts after 5 seconds and is now stuck in this constant loop.
The Sony companion app is now useless as even though it can detect the phone it can't repair it. It throws up and error about it not liking the model oh my phone for some reason.
Thinking my phone might be 100% dead I installed Sony's flashing tool Emma, and thanfully it can detect the phone and thinks it is a XQ-AT51 since I flashed UK/EU androind 11 on it before.
I am really not sure how I can even try and fix this phone, I can't flash it because OEM unlocking was not enabled along with USB-Debugging, (why when its a normal update) and I can't get the recovery menu to show up at all anymore.
If anyone has any idea on how I may salvage this id like to know since most if not all guides I find are out of date or require me to be able to enable OEM unlocking or boot into the phone in the first place. If all else fails I am just tempted to buy a used phone with a broken screen from Ebay and just swap out the mainboard...I looses 12GB ram to 8GB but its better than having a brick.

Hello,
I remember that when i last time unlocked bootloader on my Nokia 8 phone, on every phone restart there was an obnoxious splashscreen telling that "this device is unlocked, unsafe..." etc. etc. which made every reboot longer and well, it didn't look nice.
Is the same screen also showing up when I install any custom ROM such as Pixel Experience?

yes, this message on the screen always appears with any ROM while the bootloader is unlocked, it is not something that is from the installed ROM but from the bootloader and it seems to be prior to loading the system like the BIOS on a computer. As for the Pixel Experience, this ROM it is very stable and you hardly ever have to restart the phone, so you will see this message very rarely
