As the title say when in download mode the phone is not seen by the pc, the fastboot commands dont work but the ADB commands are working fine. I have tried using different cables and also tried on different machines.
I previously had installed Crdroid but again reverted to android pie using using the treble to android 9 revert image, after that havent anything to the phone but today wanted to update the phone again to Crdroid as the wifi is now fixed but NOST wont recognise the device as connected.

Hi i have lost android trying to flash rooted tablet with meriks rom. Now using techknights method i cannot get the computer to fully recognise the tablet to reflash in dnx mode. When it was rooted and running cwn restore it was fine but this has been deleted also.
Windows is booting fine but it is really useless to me as i would prefer android.
I have tried a couple of different computers but the same result.
Hi all,
I have OP3T that just not recognized by my PC. I also have another OP3 that connects just fine to this PC. I tried dev menu and USB debug+ MTP, tried to wipe cache, install a new stock ROM downloaded from OP website, also installed the drivers in the PC.
device manager not shown anything when I connect the phone (no MTP device or Android device) and tried several cables and also another PC.
the phone was rooted until the last update (last December) and now I want to install custom ROM and I can't!
I think you want to fastboot flash a recovery?
What OS? Fastboot devices returns null?
yes, so I can install custom ROM eventually. my PC runs win 10 64X and right now my phone has stock android 8.0 (OOS).
what happens that when I connect my phone to the computer there is nothing going on- no now device in device manager and not a new driver pops, so I just can't flash recovery.
is there's an option to flash recovery without using the PC?

No generic MTP or Android device at all? On either PC, trying different ports (I know you said you tried multiple cables - which is good trouble shooting)? And no pop-up on the phone, allowing you to select MTP (move files, or whatever it says)?
If that I the case, I tend to think the USB port is damaged.

I've seen some folks package TWRP into a bootloader-flashable zip on other devices, but haven't seen anything like that on the 3T.
More importantly, I'd say it's very risky modding the phone with custom recovery and flashing a ROM, without having fastboot and adb tools available. You can get stuck in a real bad jam doing this, with tools to recover the device. I don't recommend it.
Yes I tried it all but there is no indication besides the device is charging while connected to the USB port.
OP support say that this might be the case, but I don't know if I want to replace it since my screen is cracked and it will brake it as soon as I open the phone
I had installed pixel experience on my Mi A2(jasmine_sprout) recently, after some days I had installed pixel experience plus using twrp. you SOT ....
you need adb & fastboot that works to do anything
you can only try 3 things:
1. find out what is wrong with usb ...try new official cables , reinstalling drivers, different usb ports , different pc
2. using application from playstore and on your phone enable and authorize adb via wifi / network
use this adb to force phone to boot to edl mode:
adb reboot edl
3. open your mobile with screwdriver following video tutorials .... using testpoint force edl mode
#in edl mode your phone WILL be detected if you install Qualcomm drivers then you can flash stock rom with miflash
i dont know why people mess with PE because like 80% have problems with wifi or usb or something
Hey guys, so here's my problem:
When I put my phone (TA-1052) in download/fastboot mode to unlock the bootloader, it is not recognized by my Windows 10 PC (64-bit) or Win 10 laptop (32-bit).
I've tried out different drivers and adb works fine. But as soon as I get into download mode and ask fastboot for a device list, it's gone!
The odd thing is that it doesn't show up in the device manager anymore. Windows also doesn't give the USB-connect sound when I plug in the cable.
Please help me out!
(I'm running Android Pie with the April 1st security update and I'm using the latest platform tools by Google)
Hello.
So a few days ago I updated my A2 with June security patch / update. After that I noticed one day my phone wont charge fast...even though it was plugged into the standard 5V inbox charger. It kept discharging even when plugged in.
Ultimately the battery drained completely and it shutdown. It wont turn on even when connected on charger. After a few hours of trying to switch it on it finally turned on but would still charge very slowly.
So I assumed it was a due to that update and thought of downgrading and hence decided to unlock the bootloader..... But...MY PC DOESN'T DETECT MY PHONE IN FASTBOOT.
I tried a lot of things like reinstalling drivers, reinstalling mi flash, reinstalling windows, three different cables and even tried two pcs. Adb is detected, i can transfer files, everything works except the fastboot part....where the pc doesn't detect anything, not even a sound, and nothing in the device manager. ?
So atlast I just want to ask if there is a way to downgrade my stock and locked Mi A2 currently on android 10 using adb commands or by using the stock recovery options i.e. apply update through adb and sd card.
Also if I wanted to know if flashing a older version of stock android Pie through stock recovery options can brick my phone ( ARB ).
Edit : Mi flash recognises my phone when phone is switched on and when i choose apply update through abd using stock recovery. Is downgrading possible using Mi flash without switching to fastboot mode?
Thank you.
