Has anyone else has the issue where watching you tube and it just pauses? Or if you pause it , it will just start.
Also when out in 4g areas on auto select quality it will drop down to 144p. Yet using my oppo find x 2 pro stays at 1080p same network

hi, its probably because you are in a area where 3G network is not available.instead you have edge (E).try in a different location where the 3g signal is available or try changing the radio.you dont need to hard reset, i would think. hope it helps.

Thank you for your points of advice, but i am in the area where 3G network is available bcoz my friend beside me using touch diamond and shows 3G and able to make a video call. So, i tried to upgrade my touch pro with WM6.5 and plus the latest version of radio rom and it really nice upgrading it but yet still can't reach 3G signal or make any video call. I hv go through and read the forum where there are few guys complaint about 3G and i did not find any points of solution of touch pro problem. Please do help me, thank you.

You need to swtitch your band to 3g.
you can do it via "Wireless networks" Manila settings tab or via
Start->Settings->Personal->Phone.
After you you'll select proper bad, a 3g icon will appear. So you you'll be able to RECIVE video calls.
In order to make a video cal you'll have to switch to videocall mode in dialer.
Try it.

Some Touch Pro can make video calls while some does not. For example, my Touch Pro is Asian/European Touch Pro that has front video camera. Unlike some US carrier version that cannot make video calls.

well can i still make video calls even if the camera is on the back? just turn it around? if so is there a cab file for it?
Can anyone please tell me if they are having the same issues with their 2nd gen Moto G? The first one is the most urgent, but with the others, it's the first time I'm using Android KitKat and don't know if they are software or hardware related, or just how the interface (or Motorola's version of it) works and I'm doing it wrong.
1. Poor signal reception: -10 to -15 dBm when compared to my old phone in the exact same location/orientation. My 4 year old LG P500 gets -83 to -95 dBm while the new Moto G hovers around -95 to -103 dBm. I've already had people call me and say I was not reachable.
2. Two-finger swipe from top to access settings doesn't work most of the time. If I single swipe it works, but for the two finger swipe it seems to 'cancel' early the drop-down menu, so it resets to the top when the animation is about 25% of the way down. The developer mode which shows the pointer location shows two solid touch trails from the top all the time, so I don't think it's from the digitizer.
3. The hitboxes for the soft buttons are too small and they don't activate unless I touch directly on the button icon. If I touch above the icon but still in the black soft button area it doesn't activate.
4. Lateral swipes register as clicks, but the touch trails show a clear (yet small) swipe.

Hey, any update on Pt#1? I am thinking of selling my Moto G 1st and getting a Moto G 2nd. Is anybody else getting the network signal issue?
(As you can see from the auto-signature!) I have the same phone, and am having the same signal problems.
Can anyone tell me if its ROM, kernal, or something else that can be changed to possibly improve the signal quality - and also which is the best one to use?

Actually I'm getting a little worse reception on my XT1064 than I was getting on the LG I previously had. It's not Lollipop though, since I noticed it first on Kitkat.
i dont have any signal issues have you checked with a different carrier that there are still signal issues as one carrier in my country works and another one doesnt
You mean you do not get 3g network or anything else.... BTW have bsame phone and is working good...

I have the dual sim model and both networks are pretty poor. Best I get is spotty H+, never get 3g. My wife is with the same main network and she has no issues with her z1 compact.

I'm live in france and i have a phone package with operator Orange
I have a little (BIG) problem with my Mi 9 when i'm at work ( on other place it's work very good)
My network 4g have issue by intermittence
exemple : i play video game online , all work and instantly while 4-5 minutes i don't have any 4g
it's random , sometime my network 4g work 30 minutes and after disappears and again and again
I did not have this problem since 1 month , it's appear since 2 weeks
Things who was tested : reboot , wipe cache , factory reset
I try to call orange , and they said to me " it's a problem with frequency of you're phone " but i don't believe that , because all 4g bands in france are compatible with Mi 9 , and i did not have this problem before
Orange have verify if they have problems with network on my work but all is good for them , and they said that no customer has reported the same problem in the zone :crying:
The only solution is to force 3g only , 0 problems with 3g
Ps : i don't think it's a harware issue because i don't have this problem on my house etc

Seems you are alone with this problem? Sometimes firmware updates can destroy connections. But I don't know what wrong in your case.

Download Netmonster and add database, then you'll see the signal in dBm and also the frequency. You can go to anfr antennes relais to check where the antennas are. I hope you buy global version otherwise you can have some issues with 4G
Can you tell me if this phone is 4xCA or 3xCA ready : when you activate 4G you'll see on netmonster 800+1800+2100+2600

I got the same problem in France, but on the SFR Operator, in 4G as well, since Monday (maybe since Friday 31/05 but I'm always on wifi when not at work).
- Seems like, whatever the cell tower, I get almost no data out. I can make calls on 3G, of course.
- Basically, I've got almost no data output and very limited input (LTE : 7/2 Mb/S speedtest), and I got to use wifi all the time if I want to do something. On 3G, it's 3.9/0.7 Mb/s
I haven't heard of someone else having problems just yet, but that might be either a local issue (I'm near Paris) or a wider cell outage.
I don't think it's related to the phone itself, more on the operator's side, because there hasn't been an update of MIUI justifiying a different behavior.
Yes upgrade to MUI 10 with my mix 2s cause e reduction of TX output so you recieve less, i dont know it's the case for mi9
I got 50 mega in 4g+ 800+1800 with sfr
Try near an 4g antenna like 20 or 100 meters to see if you can have a good speed

I currently have a p20 pro locked bootloader connected to T-mobile carrier in the united states. I cannot connect to my family through google duo because the application is trying to use T-mobile's Vi-LTE service in an infinite loop. When calling, the receiver gets the call, however when they answer, google just says "loading video" forever. My family uses huawei mate 10 pro and huawei p20 pro. I can confirm this is the issue by disconnecting mobile data and going through wifi only. When I am connected to wifi and mobile data, a 4g icon appears next to the signal bar icon. Anyone else having this issue? Is there maybe a method to disconnect video over lte (Vi-LTE)??

If you're still seeing 4G then your WiFi won't be in use AFAIK.
Reboot your router, run a speed test from where you normally talk over duo. See what you're getting.
Do it over 4G too
Verify your APN make sure it's correct and there are no duplicate APNs in the list.
Or honestly, swerve duo and use WhatsApp mate, it's better quality from my experience.

Now I'm facing this wierd issue, My network gets restarting like every hour. I can't play pubg as well as stream as i am getting this network issue.
BTW my both networks are in roaming and in 4g with volte enabled
For precise the problem is like "disabling and enabling both sim cards at the same time".
If anyone have solution write that down.

yes after updated A10 network suddenly turn to 9++ms for random time and sometimes game feel lagging at frame not all time also random

I'm facing this problem in android 10 only.
Also my ping in pubg increased from 60 in android 9 to 170 in android 10
Edit: i tried network reset also but nothing works. I'm from india and I'm using Jio and Airtel. I found that DSDS (Dual Sim Dual standby) is enabled (in engineering mode *#*#4636#*#*) and i cant turn that off.
I'm getting this popup "changing this needs restarting the phone", when I gave ok, Nothing happens. When I restart my mobile manually DSDS is still enabled.
I'm thinking about going back to pie, but I am too lazy to back up everything
Downgraded to android 9. Everything is smooth. 40 ping in pubg never goes over 80. No random Network restart.no bugs.
I believe there is a 4G bug with A10.. I have the issue where mine switches from Band 3 to Band 1, and the network speed basically halves causing stutter and lag and sometimes games drop out with no internet as it makes the switch.. The network priority is supposed to keep on the fastest band (as it does on A9) but it switches to the slower band in A10 for some reason... Currently Anders_Asus (asus tech support) is looking at it. I've sent several logs showing the issue..
To diagnose the issue - download speedtest app, then put the phone in airplane mode. Deactivate airplane mode and run speedtest repeatedly - you should see the high speeds for around 2-3 minutes - but after this time, you will notice the ROG2 switches band to the slower band, and your speed drops dramatically.
If you can replicate this issue, I am very interested to forward this Anders @ Asus as well to provide further backup to the issue.

Not thinking of updating to A10 again, No stable network, not able to turn off DSDS. Also, I don't like full-screen gestures on A10 as some third party apps don't natively support it. Waiting for android 11 maybe..
