Hi, I have installed cartube in AA (Samsung S21 Ultra), playing videos on a BMW I am having audio/video sync problems. Any ideas ?
Bye, max
Same issue. Have you found a fix?
Same problem with Xiaomi Mi9T. Do you connect AA wireless?
I have found that the problem does not occur (or at least in a much lesser form) if I connect the phone with the cable, although obviously it becomes much more inconvenient...

My new Note 5 (SM-N920I) has problems with bluetooth. I can not connect to my car, nor to my headset. However I can connect to my Sony Vaio and my smarthwatch Gear Fit (although sometimes it is disconnected) .
From what little I could see , there is a problem with bluetooth in Note 5, but still no solution.
Someone knows a solution to work properly ?
Thank you

I had a problem too. I could connect but the range was very short then it would cut out. I replaced it.
With the new one, is rhe problem gone?
Bluetooth overall is much better for me than on my Note 4. I've not had trouble connecting to the six devices I use. There's some funkiness with my Gear S when reconnecting via BT after being connected remotely but that could easily be Gear Manager and not the phone. Range does seem a bit shorter but reconnections are a lot faster and more reliable. BT on any device is a big YMMV because of all the different devices being connected.
In these days, I find my Mi note Pro can not connect to bluetooth well, it always disconnected after a few minutes when I drive my car, yes, I often listen the music when drive, so I connect the Mi Note pro to car by bluetooth, i can sure it is not the problem of my car, is anyone else meet this situation?

Thanks for your response. this is very strange probelm, two month before did not appear this problem, but in these current days.
Maybe it is the problem of the system version of Xiaomi note pro, if I can solve this, I will let you know.
Interesting. I just got my Note Pro so didn't get to use the car Bluetooth receiver a lot yet but so far it's been working fine, playing several times for more than an hour without disruption. Maybe it's one of those extensive power-saving settings that are responsible? Or the "Clean Master" that is set to kick in after 30 mins since the screen was turned off by default? I was using Google Maps for navigation while also playing music in the car, so the screen was on all the time, perhaps that would explain why it didn't happen to me?
What's your ROM version, mine works flawless.
Earlier today I was using the car Bluetooth receiver with the phone in my pocket on battery power - no problems whatsoever (5.12.31 Developer ROM). I'd try with another phone first, maybe it's some sort of interference or a problem with the receiver after all?
Is that an aftermarket Bluetooth receiver plugged into the lighter socket? They're not famous for their reliability, and with time it the socket parts themselves can become loose causing intermittent power failures. Or does it always stop working after the same amount of time passes? Maybe you have some battery-saving app or settings that switches it off then.
I use Remote Phone (https://justremotephone.com) for handeling calls at work. Remote Phone uses bluetooth handsfree profile for the purpose of controlling my phone from the laptop.
When my phone is connected to my laptop with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it can only connect to my BT headset using Input device and Contact sharing.
When my phone is connected to my BT headset or a BT-speaker with handsfree-support (e.g. my car) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, my smartwatch (Gear S3) looses Phone audio (or disconnects).
When my phone is connected to my smartwatch (Gear S3) with Phone audio, Input device and Contact sharing enabled, it often fails to register and automatically connect to other known devices.
It would seem that the N8 Sirocco can not connect to multiple devices using Phone audio profile.
I have sendt an e-mail to Nokia support addressing this issue, and will post the answer here.
I'm still on Android 8.0.0, and hopefully this is a SW-problem that is corrected in 8.1.
I'm guessing there is not so many N8 Sirocco owners out there yet, but of the few that is out there, has anyone else experienced similar BT handling issues?
This might not be a problem with the N8 Sirocco, but a problem with BT handling on the Gear S3.....
i have a major BT connection issues with my GEAR s3. It doesnt pair at all. the process gets stuck on the galaxy and stars moving around and saying setting up your device. Any help on how to connect my gear s3?
solution?

Hi MrMastodon. Did you solve the topic? As I have similar issue with Nokia 8 and car BT device + GPS BT tethering...
I completely forgot to follow up, it turns out that the Galaxy Gear is known for causing exceptionally bad Bluetooth-performance when paired with non Samsung devices.. I sold it.
Howdy,
Anyone else experiencing stuttering while streaming audio over Bluetooth?
Started happening after the 9.0.0.168 update.
I'm located in Australia if that makes any difference.
Tried a bunch of different devices using different codecs (aac, SBC, aptx, etc). I've also tried factory resetting, and different streaming apps (Spotify, apple music, tidal, etc).
Literally the only thing that works is reverting back to EMUI 8.1.
Yes! It is annoying!
No clue on how to o fix it yet....

What is your car?
This doesn't seem to be limited to the P20 Pro. I can confirm the issue on the Mate 10 Pro after the EMUI9 (European) upgrade. Bluetooth worked flawlessly before, even under heavy load (Google Maps navigation and Torque Pro in split screen mode, Spotify in background) with two bluetooth devices (Torque adapter and JVC car radio) connected.
Since the update I am experiencing intermittent stutter with any bluetooth audio device. As soon as I connect the Torque adapter (bluetooth serial protocol) the stutter on the audio output becomes unbearable. I get about 10 seconds of clear sound, then 5-8 seconds of stutter. Re-pairing didn't help.

I've tried several Bluetooth devices, ranging far and wide and with a large variety of different codecs being used. Re-pairing doesn't help, factory resetting doesn't help. I suspect it's a driver related issue.

Yeah, WiFi is never enabled while I'm driving. My dash cam gives off a WiFi connection with no Internet access.
I did read that fixed a similar issue on an other Huawei device, thanks for the tip.
got updated to Pie last night, and I listened to Spotify on my way to work this morning. I noticed the audio is interrupted (for about half a second) two or three times within 45 mins. I thought it is just the Spotify streaming issue. Hmm .. maybe it is this issue.

You can try other apps。You can see whether it's the problem of Bluetooth headset or the problem of App.
It only appears to be LDAC in my case (when using my Sony WH-1000XM3's). If I drop the codec down, the aborations don't manifest for me. Turning the screen on by way of power button makes the audio cut out for 100ms or less, but seems to indicate it's processor load that's causing it (across any audio app, like Spotify, Tidal, PocketCasts, YouTube).
Using anything lower than LDAC seems to be fine for me though (like when I'm using my Samsung Gear IconX 2018's).
I only updated to EMUI 9 on my P20 Pro yesterday and identified this issue within 5 minutes, so it doesn't bode well for Huawei's testing.

So, after having contacted Huawei, they initially advised me to wipe the cache partition however this didn't address the issue. They then apologetically recommended a full reset. Having now done this the Bluetooth audio issues I was experiencing appear to have been resolved.
Whether they'll return with use of the phone I have no idea, but LDAC and all other codes are working brilliantly now.
Hope that helps anyone having the same probs.
I have exactly same Issue, doesn't matter aptx ldac SBC, with some devices works fine with others horrible... It's a lot of work to reset to factory settings and reinstall all the apps and settings though
Any one know if there's a fix for this yet?
I've tried wiping the device and still has issues.
I have same issue w p20 pro EMUI 10.0.0.161 CLT-L29 model. Has earlier p20 pro china version L100? And no issues.
I'm using BT Shure SE846 and they are studdering. App notwithstanding. My cheap car BT radio jig works flawlessly. Huawei said I need to change mb. (For $150 since out of warranty)
Hi all,
I found a very strange behaviour with my '21 Subaru Outback. It has the Harman/Kardon head-unit with wired Android Auto. My phone is a Huawei Mate 20 Pro. As soon as AA is connected, the music playback from USB stick is stopped. Sometime a message pops up very briefly that the USB device is not available. The HU falls back to the radio playback and I can switch to the USB stick no problem.
I checked different configurations:
- wired USB, playback stops nearly 100% of all connects
- using wireless AA adaptor with start/stop fix: playback is stopped about 60% of all connects
- using a Motorola wireless AA dongle shows same behaviour as pure USB connection, USB playback is dropped 100%
I can't figure out, what the root cause may be. I do not have any media playing via AA and I also disabled the automatic playback feature of AA. The USB stick is dropped as soon as AA finds a connect. So I suspect that it might be something with the timing.
Did anyone observe a similar behaviour?
Thanks in advance!
Sebastian
If it helps, I've been experiencing similar problems since I installed the latest HU update (Rel_UG.22.13.70.) in My Forester SK.
In my case, AA desconnects itself in a random way, I mean sometimes it takes 5 minutes and sometimes 2 hours. If I diconnect USB and plug it again, sometimes it works again and sometimes it crashes continously. I'm quite convinced the problem is that update since before everything flowed. I've tried with a couple of phones, one rooted and the other non-rooted and the problem remains the same.
Hi,
that's interesting. My version is the most recent UG.22.47.70. I don't have issue with disconnects, although this can be caused by a faulty USB cable. Mine works stable for hours, no problem. It is only that it cuts off the USB playback for no obvious reason.
I found a workaround for my USB playback issue. If you set USB playback to automatic, it will automatically resume after being disconnected.
What I found with AA on the other hand is this:
- I paired my phone directly with the head unit
- established AA access
- all media devices are shown as unavailable as soon as BT connects to my phone and this is where the USB playback stops
- when BT connection is ok, all media devices are shown as available again, including BT
I guess that this has something to do with the fact that AA also sets up a BT pairing with your head unit if your phone isn't connected. So I assume that the direct pairing of HU and phone is somewhat different to the pairing via AA. This is supported by the fact that my car randomly looses my phone and wants to re-initiate the pairing again when it has been paired directly.
It's the news and it's good news! Apparently there is an update for the radio software available. It is only delivered to the dealers since it is only a radio update and does not include navigation software.
For my Outback it is 22.49.70.
I did six test runs up until now and it is 100% success so far. I'll keep an eye on that.
