Fingerprints added but don't work after that - Huawei P30 Pro Questions & Answers

2 days ago FP scanner on my phone stopped recognizing my fingers. Reboot didn't help. When I try to add new fp's, it does add them successfully, but right then when I pressed "Identify fingerprint" it fails. I press my finger but it just vibrates and does not identify it.
I've tried factory reset but it didn't help either. It seems that scanner itself is operational, but there is some SW problem.
Any help is appreciated.

Keyboard/Password

So I just did a CID unlock via HardSPL and flashing the stock HTC firmware. Works excellent. However, I also ran the "Tilt Keyboard Fix" (this is a Tilt). Now, when I restarted the phone, it won't take my password. I know I'm typing it correctly.
Any help? Thanks.
This is quickly becoming a nightmare. I tried using the on-screen keyboard to try entering the password but that didn't work. Eventually it was having me wait 17 minutes before I could try entering the password in again. Then I tried reseting by holding the two "soft" keys and pressing the reset button but that just asked for the password again. Then I held down the power button and the camera and pressed the reset button with the stylus and now it's on the tricolor screen (been there for ~5 minutes). It says "Serial" if it's not plugged into anything or "USB" if I plug it into the computer but nothing works. HELP PLEASE!
Flashed ROM at this point again and it worked. I was really worried there for a minute...

Touchscreen dead?

Hey, recently I was just using my phone and it wouldn't respond to any of my touches / screen presses. I tried doing a factory reset (using CM 7 stable), but it still doesnt work. The menu buttons arent working either, but the trackball works fine. If I press REALLY hard down on the screen it registers my input. Any idea what happened or how I can fix it?
Was playing with a phone just last night with a non-responsive touchscreen. Couldn't get past the "Touch the Android to Begin" screen after reinstalling CM7. I found that if I gently pressed and twisted the bottom of the phone around the trackball, the touchscreen would come back. Give it a shot.
Have you ad trouble with this from before? Try installing another rom with wipe

Black screen with backlight

HI every body, I have a problem and I'm asking for help
a while back my HTC HD7 felt in the sea. I managed to get it dried and fixed and it worked fine
but every now and then the screen goes black. normally i fix the problem by taking the battery out
the problem happened again a few days ago, and the screen won't turn on, when I turn the phone on I see the backlights turning on and the touch work fine and I can hear the keys and the unlock screen sound, but can't see anything
I tried to do a hard reset but the volume up key is not working so I can't access the hard reset menu.
my question .. is the a software to do a hard reset via PC. or can I use the headphone volume keys instead of the device ones???
I'm running WP 7.8 official, and a window 7 on PC.
please any help is appreciated ...
thanks

Touchscreen not responding

Help on this, please! My phone screen just stops responding from yesterday, It works for a millisecond when I unlock it but then it freezes and it doesn't respond until I lock it again and unlock it.....But it works when I leave the Spen (Stylus whatever) on it, I mean while the little circle that tells you that the pen is on the screen is been shown, at the second that I retire it from pointing the screen, it freezes again until I lock screen again.....
I tried a factory reset, tried a flash with odin, nothing worked. Any help?
I have a similar issue, my screen does not recognize my fingers but works well with the s-pen, are you in a custom nougat ROM? When I was in marshmallow I was able to fix it just by holding power+volume down for 10secs and then choosing restart, however now in nougat has been like 2 weeks and I haven't been able to fix it

Hi! No, I'm on nougat official rom. It auto update itself like two months ago, but the strange thing is that the problem came out two days ago, and there's no harm, my phone didn't fall. Anyway, I'm taking it to the SAT next week, I'll come back with an answer if it's a hardware issue.

Enable PIN code on S10, phone goes dead?

Hope this isn't an omen or anything but I decided to try the fingerprint sensor and the phone requires you to set up any of the locks to do that so I picked the PIN code. Four digit number, entered it in twice, then the phone became unresponsive and went dead . Tried holding down the power button for a LONG time but nothing. Tried holding power and the Bixby button and nothing. About 2 or 3 minutes later it came back to life but no lock protection was saved. Just now re-did the PIN code and the fingerprint recognition and it *seems* to be working but that's still really troubling to have it go dead like that. Anyone else notice anything on theirs?
Could be just a random crash, nothing to worry about unless it starts to do it often, at that point it's off to warranty.
Also had a crash setting up the fingerprint sensor, although only when I first tried to use the sensor. Yikes
