i have a kaiser and i think the problem is the rom for this usb car charge!
When I bought , brought the Portuguese rom. I was to be without battery and bound the porter to the lighter of the car and pda loaded!
When I update the English rom (original htc wwe), it doesn´t charge!
is some way or some trick of registry to be able to load for the lighter of the car?
Try checking
Start / Settings / System / Power / Advanced /
Check Box cleared. When device is turned on donot not charge the battery.
This may prevent some USB cables from charging

Eu quando comprei o meu também vinha com a ROM em português e o carregamento por isqueiro era na boa, não sei que carregador usas, mas eu tenho um cabo normal com um adaptador de isqueiro de marca branca que funciona bem. Já mudei para várias outras roms e continua sempre a dar, de certeza que tens a opção acima mencionada desactivada?
Outra questão agora fora do tópico, ainda tens a ROM em português? Não fiz backup da minha e gostava de cozinhar uma rom tuga.

Ok the problem is not on the USB Charger, i try to put in other PDA (HTC Prophet and it works)
Since i flash htc kaiser , it dosn´t work with any rom, original and cooked..

people, give aid me. My city has 4G internet of course, put my S3 4G is not connecting to it.

gente, me socorram. minha cidade tem internet 4G da claro, porem meu S3 4G nao ta se conectando a ela.
eu usava a rom 4.3 há pelo menos 4 meses, quando por motivos de lentidão excessiva, bateria nao durando nada e pausas na musica enquanto usava o player (travadas rapidas, mas ocorreu desde sempre com o 4.3) decidi que deveria voltar pro 4.1.2 (oh god, why) e foi ai que meu pesadelo começou.
ele travava na tela de apresentação do aparelho, antes do logo da samsung. com muito esforço consegui entrar no modo download e voltar pra rom 4.3.
desde então ele simplesmente nao fica mais em 4G, mas pelo menos conecta em 3G.
nesse dia então decidi ir para o cyanogenmod (espetaculo, meu telefone era um foguete, porem a bateria ia em dois toques (oh god, why 2))
hoje voltei pra rom stock e continuou meu problema de nao achar rede 4G.
enquanto estava utilizando o cyanogen, flasheei diversos modens na esperança de conseguir, mas todas tiveram o mesmo resultado.
por enquanto é isso. se eu conseguir resolver pretendo só fazer root e instalar a boeffla na rom stock...
alguem sabe ou ja aconteceu algo parecido?
desconfio que possa ser algo com a claro, mas ligo no 1052 e os caras falam que a rede deles ta perfeita aqui e que vao mandar uns negocios de configuração e talz (processo padrão deles).

Estou com meu Zuk na rom chinesa, atualizei essa semana para a Zuk 3.5.344 St e percebi que o Led de notificação só acende quando carrego, então ele fica vermelho.
O led não pisca em mais nenhuma notificação, por exemplo Facebook e whatsapp, quando chega alguma mensagem ele não ascende.
Queria saber se isso é um problema da rom, ou tem algum lugar que eu não tenha conseguido ativar essa função.

I'm with my Zuk in the Chinese ROM, I upgraded this week to Zuk 3.5.344 St and I noticed that the notification LED only turns on when I load, so it turns red.

Same problem than OP here. I upgraded my zuk z2 pro from the gearbest rom to the last ZUI (3.5.388 ST) and since the led is not working, except when I charge the phone. I tried the Light Flow app but with no luck. Maybe I missed something in the settings menu but I can't find what!

I do remember there were some few modes removed that used to be in the oldest phones, like Virtual tour of galaxy S5, anyway, this camera app was great! You could download the modes you liked, and just dont download the ones you didnt liked, and a lot of variety. Once again, freedom of choice.

E pior ainda, com o upgrade para o android Pie, forçaram os utilizadores do Galaxy Note 8, a largar a incrível app que já tinham, e a app pela qual pagaram mais de 1000€ para poder ter.

Com apenas 350€ consegue-se, FM, Câmara de 25Mpx, possibilidade para ter os bons modos (sem nunca abdicar das boas propriedade de hardware como RAM, ROM e processador), mas por 1279€ (que foi o preço do meu Note 9) apenas temos direito a 12MPx de câmara, sem FM e temos uma aplicação de câmara igual à que qualquer telemóvel de marca branca pode ter? Há de momento telemóveis de marca branca a usar a Google Câmara, com Stickers AR (Modelos 3D que podes colocar onde quiseres, que interagem e se comportam como um ser vivo com os quais podes tirar fotos e fazer videos), Photospheres com novas variedades (semelhante aos Surround Shots mas com outras novas maneiras de fazer), algumas marcas até têm algo semelhante ao Dual Câmara (vai depender da marca) que permitem dividir o ecrã entre duas câmaras à escolha (como por exemplo, dividir o ecrã entre duas câmaras traseiras, uma com zoom e outra sem zoom para mostrar um detalhe ao mesmo tempo que se mostra o objeto inteiro), existem toneladas de inovações nas outras marcas e a samsung está a ficar para trás porque não ouve o consumidor.
I read already tons of forums, topics, everywhere, of people that misses those modes i named, and no change happened. Meanwhile, other brands came with 50MPx cameras and new features. And, samsung, doesnt even worry in fix their "super powerful note" wich works as any regular 300€ phone but with a pen. Even the battery (wich they announced to be great, watching a video for a full day and still having battery) is a lie.
Já li um monte de fórums, tópicos, em todo o lado, pessoas que sentem falta dos modos que eu nomeei e nao se vê mudança nenhuma. Entretanto, outras marcas aparecem com câmaras de 50MPx e novas funções. E a samsung nem se preocupa em corrigir o seu "super powerful note" que funciona como um telemóvel de 300€ mas com uma caneta. Até a bateria (que anunciaram ser brutal, ver vídeos durante um dia inteiro e ainda assim ter bateria) é uma mentira.

I had almost every phone of S line, and i had Note 3,4, Note Edge, and Note 8, and i regret a lot of buying the note 9. I wouldnt if there was a really upgrade. Memory? 512gb vs 256Gb? Every phone with more than 128Gb + SD card Slot is good. Even 64Gb its ok! That is not a really upgrade. Thats like buying a PC with 500GB and change the SSD for a 1TB one. You paid for it. I paid extra 200 euros for the 512Gb. But the improvement? Where is it?
We want to see Galaxy Note in the top again. I want to see it.

Quero ver FM de volta (nos exynos), quero ver esses modos todos de volta (que toraram a Samsung única por uns tempos, quero ver novas funções que façam os utilizadores do Note 9 nao se arrependerem todos os dias por o terem comprado. Tive quase todos os telemóveis da gama S e ainda tive o Note 3, 4 Note edge e Note 8 e arrependo-me a sério de ter comprado o Note 9. Não estaria arrependido se tivesse realmente havido um upgrade. probably because a jack of all trades is a master at nothing. i to have seen things removed but ive also seen things added. i believe that in order to let new things come in, we need to let go of some as well.
we've all seen what a hoarder's house looks like.
its difficult to maintain when too many features are present. we already find that updates come slow on samsung devices. i think it may have something to do with the number of bells and whistles these devices have that make the development a bit more tedious and slow.
that being said, i do understand people feelings and reluctance towards samsung's new devices. the question is, why are we still using them even after years of let down and the feeling that they dont care and take away features.
i mean they must be doing something right if we keep coming back. either that or the competition's offerings are of such an inferior product that we stick with our guns even with the let downs.
either way, we do have choices and have to deal with them.
i truly think that the best way to show dissatisfaction is to bring the fight to Samsung's home turf. post in their forums and use their social plat forms to discuss these let downs. xda is for development and general discussion and not a complaints box. what ever is discussed here stays here. efforts really should be sent toward the right platforms if a message needs to be clear and sent to them.

1- a entrada de chip 1 lê o chip e recebe SMS SOMENTE ISSO, não mostra sinal da operadora cheio, nunca.
2- se desligar durante o uso de minuto a minuto, pra isso parar, não posso usar o brilho no máximo, tirar fotos, ver vídeos e ouvir música com volume mais que 10%, caso .
