available frequency bands are related to hardware not just software. if you're in the US having European firmware isn't gonna help you, more likely you'll also less LTE reception on top.

I bought a BLU advance 5.5 HD and i returned to my country .. in my country we use 900MHZ and 1800MHZ for 3g and 4g
but the phone can not connect to 3g and 4g because it supports 850 , 1700 , 1900.. any solution please.
i used MTK engeenering application and here the image... as you can see the 900 and 1800 bands exists in UMTS but they are not highlighted so i can not unlock.. Help please..

Look at the title of this forum. Look at the model of your phone. Doesn't look like a match to me.
Also, you cannot change the radio bands that a phone supports. You bought a phone that is incompatible with your service needs.
Just received my Blu Advance 5.5 HD, the Blu Help does not work. What can I do?
yesterday i got a phone xt 1103 when i insert sim he got no signal in in he only show network name and no service i try hard to flash different modem and other thing but not solved i notice there is no gsm network i try to change LTE to gsm but failed whats problem in it any expert can give me suggestion this is my first post on xda plz give me positive response thanks in advance

I bought a Samsung Note 9 via eBay the original owner has it from at & t ... it's a snapdragon and I live in Europe ... my European SIM card works there and actually everything works only what doesn't work are updates my last update is december and especially the security update is from december 2020 does anyone know me how to put a newer or current security patch there ...?

Hi all,
I have a SM-G781U1/DS (S20FE 5G 6GB RAM) but I just found out that it doesn't support having two SIM cards. I read that the phone has the hardware, just that the software isn't enabled to support dual SIM.
I read that SM-G781B/DS firmware supports dual SIM, it is also the version sold in my region so it has the region specific perks.
Is it possible to convert a flash a SM-G781U1 device to SM-G781B/DS by flashing the latter's firmware using Odin?
I'd prefer a non-root method as I need the Samsung Pay feature.

it's highly unlikely that Odin would even let you try to flash it, if it did it could fail the flash at the end leaving you needing to reflash U1 fw.
there wouldn't be any root solutions available to you anyway being on a US Samsung phone.

Samsung sometimes releases special models for the Korean market, which may differ from the specifications of devices for other regions.
