Can't hear the other person speaking when loses 4g connection

Anytime I lose 4g connection during a call all of a sudden I can't hear the other person speaking but they can hear me. Do anyone know how to fix this it.

Issue with WIFI calling

So I have little to no service at my house so all my calls are done through wifi calling. My question is I'm having people call me and it goes straight to voice mail especially my wife. I can get text messages and thats how I'm finding out people are calling me. Please help

I'm don't have any resolution I'm afraid but I cant attest that Wi-Fi Calling on my T-Mobile Galaxy S8 is also terrible. And that would be with an excellent wifi signal on a fast connection with low latency. Tested on multiple connections that get 5mbps+ upstream, and people say the quality on the their end is terrible. On my current connection I'm seeing 60/6, I'm right by the router, and T-Mobile 611 folks said they could barely understand me.

Cant hear caller

Not sure if anyone else has experienced this problem, but it's happened since day one. When I call my wife and she answers I cant hear her but she can hear me. She has an Iphone 7plus. The kicker though is if she calls me then everything is fine. Anyone experienced this problem?

Probably not the same issue & is a result of my area that I had but with my Note 5.... when VoLTE first got turned on in my area I would have this problem a lot as well as dropped calls & long wait times for calls to connect or not connect at all. I disabled VoLTE & that took care of all that.
With my Note 8 I still have dropped calls issues with VoLTE turned on in certain areas. Much better than before but still is annoying to the point where I leave VoLTE off anytime I'm not at home or at work. But no issue where people can't hear me speak with my Note 8.

Ditto, i remember this in my area years back as they were rolling out VoLTE.

I got same experience but that is when I'm calling using a video call in some apps (well I only have WhatsApp and messenger and both got poor sound when I'm calling)

Hello everyone,
Recently, I experience the issue with some of the my calls. The model is SM-N950U1, and I'm using it with T mobile. When I received the call from any numbers, The quality is really bad. I can barely hear them saying anything. I have to drop the call and redial again and it is good as normal.

Are you at home or away from from home. Is Wi-Fi calling on or off I have the same phone have not had issues but rarely talk on phone much. Usually it's a network issue not a phone issue

Same setting here (N950U1 unlocked used on TMO network). I have no call issues, not on 3G, LTE+, nor via WiFi calling.

Any new case you just started using? Is it happen everywhere? Or just home or work? New apps you just started using?

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I meant same configuration (phone - operator) and NO issues...
All calling works perfect, no poor sound.

I already turned off the Wi-fi Calling, and I think the issue is still there. It happens more often when I'm talking with the Bluetooth headset

I wish extra volume would stick and not have to turn it on every call smh.

Can you barely hear the caller?
Do what the Samsung repair people do:
Use a soft bristle brush and gently wipe the ear piece with rubbing alcohol. It will remove dirt & grime from the mesh.

Calls not entering.

I have had several people say they try to call me and the call never rings or it goes straight to voicemail. Has enyone had this problem? I've searched with no luck.

I am having the same problem. I thought it was T-Mobile.

This is a common problem for GSM.
Better networks and better signal handsets tend to do it less often.
The quality of the carrier's network itself plays a major role in this.
