Unofficial ROM Development LineageOS SM-A510F

Hello,
I would like to embark on the creation of an unofficial ROM based on LineageOS for the SM-A510F (A5 2016).
I have downloaded the LineageOS cm-14.1 branch source code.
I saw in the LineageOS wiki that they showed how to download and compile the source code for the already supported phones / tablets, and the A5 2016 is not yet supported.
I've seen that it is enough for a supported device to do: breakfast (the device name) to download the device configuration from the Github repository of LineageOS.
However, there is no configuration of the A5 2016 in the Github repository of LineageOS since it is not yet supported.
I would like to know how to create this configuration, find out if there are any wiki that explain how to architect the LineageOS project as well or how Android works internally.
I find it unfortunate that there is not enough documentation on creating unofficial ROM from LineageOS or directly from Google's sources, maybe I've been looking bad too.

Another developer called zonik is trying to port lineageOS. Maybe you can ask to him for informations.

It isn't that easy, it takes time. I managed to get the source of resurrection remix but while building, there were alot of errors with the hardware tree...

This time it didn't, was due to insufficient ram.
Look at my lost above. I'll try porting lineage os first since rr is now based on lineage

Extract kernel to kernel/samsung/a5xeltexx
Extract hardware to hardware/samsung_slsi-cm
Extract vendor to vendor/samsung/a5xeltexx
Extract device tree to device/samsung/a5xeltexx
Extract device common to device/common/samsung/a5xeltexx (if im not wrong, just follow the errors if there are any)
Then, build it again and do lunch, it should show up.

I think it is easier to port A3 2016 Lineage OS to A5 no ?
(A3 have 8 cores)

Need download and put https://github.com/LineageOS/android_hardware_samsung_slsi-cm_exynos5 into hardware/samsung_slsi-cm

Anyone can test my tree santoni (Redmi 4X) ? My Google Cloud expired.

I created tree but, it's giving error in 73 %. I fıxed this error but my google cloud server is expired. Anyone can test my santoni (Redmi 4X) tree ?

We can't apply for free trial in EU, but I'd happily donate some $ for development and help with reporting bugs

Lineage Kernel for Redmi 8 Please!!??

Can anyone make a Lineage OS kernel for Redmi 8 (olive) so I could start Ubuntu touch development or create halium-boot.img using the guide at :https://docs.halium.org/en/latest/porting/get-sources.html . I just want android_device_Xiaomi_olive inside Lineage OS GitHub organization : https://github.com/lineageos with lineage.dependencies .
I hope you all developers will make the Lineage OS and it's kernel official.

Well, I can't use lolz kernel for Ubuntu touch development. I need the redmi 8 Lineage OS kernel for Ubuntu touch. ( I need only lineage.dependencies in Lineage OS GitHub)

Download it then? Its not that hard.

It's not available or not compiled yet officialy

for anyone interested, theres a group that has just started going through an introductory phase. the long term goal for the group is not just only ubports, but others as well.
while youre specifically asking for a LOS kernel, in another group there is an unofficial LOS based kernel. it may not be what youre after since its A11, and most active devs here only support A11 ATM.

Question is Pixel Experience coming any time soon?

When do you guys think Pixel Experience is coming for Mi11 , or do you guys have any other stock android roms for Mi11 that are stable for daily driving to recommend? Just can wait to get rid of Miui

Unfortunately there any AOSP developement for the moment on Mi 11 (Venus).
There no updates (security/fixes) and no developement in progress (rom or a12)
You will be patient, or better buy a Pixel 6/Pro ^^
If you want, actually the best AOSP rom stay SSOS (ShapeShift OS), merge Pixel Experience and Extra stuff.
Unfortunately rom is not updated, lastest build is from 26 september.

urgh too bad , I really like the pixel series but in Malaysia just the Pixel 6 base model cost around $785 so it's not really worth it. thanks for ur info

I have the device tree for A12 and I think using A11 version of Vendor_xiaomi is fine.
But I'm not sure if I can use the kernel for A11

Question How to build custom ROMs for spes/spesn?

Hello,
I want to ask if someone knows all the dependencies for building custom ROMs for Redmi Note 11?
I was about to build DotOS 6.0 for this device but I am getting some missing dependencies.
