Mirek190 Android 5.0 Lollipop v7.0 ROM Problems - Teclast X98 Air 3G

I installed "Mirek190 Air 2 Android 5.0 v7.0" ROM while was on Android Kitkat 4.4.4 Stock ROM on Reeder A10ix Air tablet (Tablet's specifications are same as Teclast X98 Air 2) but the ROM has the following problems;
Problem 1: While there is no exclamation mark in wifi in the ROM installation, when I restart the tablet or turn off and on the wifi, even if it does not connect to any network, there is an exclamation point in wifi, but wifi works properly.
Problem 2: When I install some apps (Example: Facebook Messenger, Microsoft Office) Contacts Provider app keeps saying "Unfortunately, android.process.acore has stopped." Gives a fault. When I disable the Contacts Provider application, there is no error, but the contacts are not loaded because the application is disabled.
Problem 3: Camera freezes after a while while reading QR Code on Whatsapp Web.
Problem 4: "Unfortunately, the app name has stopped." This error pops up when I open some apps I have installed.
Except for these issues, the ROM works fine, but how can I fix the issues I mentioned above?

Regarding Android Transformation Guide for Kindle Fire 2

I've followed the guide in this link to a tee: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2051270&page=8
However, at the end, I am unable to run Google Chrome; I receive the error message:
"Critical functionality required to run Chrome is missing; either your Chrome installation is incomplete, or not compatible with this version of Android."
I figure the problem might've been in installating the Google Framework, but I am unsure as this is my first tablet.
In addition, I attemped to install Firefox from the Play Store. It installed correctly, however, it closes within seconds of opening the application.
thanks

I followed the same guide and had the same issue. I fixed it by reinstalling chrome. Went back into system/apps and clicked on the chrome apk, installed it, no issues since.

[Q] Unfortunately, Android keyboard (AOSP) has stopped

I ROM'ed my phone from PilotX Rom to Cyanogen Mod (cm-10.0.0-galaxysmtd-2.zip).
That worked but then I didn't have my Google Apps.
I booted into Recovery and added Google Apps (the latest) then I got the error message
"Unfortunately, Android keyboard (AOSP) has stopped"
Then I booted into Recovery again and did a fresh ROM to Cyanogen Mod and this time and installed the "one previous" Google Apps (gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip)
Now when I reboot my phone takes me directly to the "enter your Google account details" screen, but I can't do that because I have the "Unfortunately, Android keyboard (AOSP) has stopped".
Right now I can't even get to Settings / Applications / Keyboard to delete data or clear cache.
The Cyanogen Mod ROM seems like a big improvement over the (old) PilotX ROM I was using before. Please help me to resolve this problem.
Update: I ROM'ed it again without choosing to also install the Google Apps.
Now I have the Google apps and I was able to type without the "(AOSP) has stopped" error.
I entered the details for my Google accounts. I now see (at least most of) my contacts. (A problem yet to be worked out? Or just in the process of sync'ing?)
I hope this keeps working.
Now I need to get all my old apps back.
I used Titanium Backup
I also chose the backup option when ROM'ing.

HELP GT-P7310MA will not accept any 7.x based ROM

Pulling my hair on this one; I have rooted the tab successfully, flashed cAndroid 5.01 and it runs great, but won't accept any of the dozen version of Gapps (GPS stop, AOSP keyboard fail, Play Store Hangs, etc.) I have tried, so I thought, let's just try AOSP or cAndroid Nougat, which I have successfully flashed to my Nexus 7 2012 (note re-purpose addiction). Various sideloaded apks work with no issue on the 5.0 ROM, no google apps or services.
I am running CW Mod for flashing and SR5-SuperSU 2.8 for root and the AOSP Rom exits with Status 0, and the cAndroid exits with Status 7, and I am hesitant to edit the install script. Rootcheck show device rooted successfully.
Any help with either would be appreciated, ultimate goal is getting Onenote to run, again, which I have done for both 5.x and 7.x on nexus, using old APKs
Upate your Recovery to the TWRP Version >= 2.8.7.0..
Do you have a link for the twrp build for the gt-p7310, can't find it listed under twrp supported devices
thanks
Searched with every criteria I can come up with, can't find a .zip for GT-P7310 or p5wifi for >2.7
SOLVED
Found right copy of TWRP, installed and now running Nougat on the tab, thanks for the assist
Spoke to soon , update to 7.1.2 goes fine, but no keyboard works none of them will activate when a text field is tapped
You can actives the keyboard under setting, language and inputs , vituelle keyboards
Thanks for the update ; I have the device working properly now with 7.1.2 AOSP thanks to updating my TWRM ; everything works but anything Google or Microsoft - I have tried every version of GApps Zips, APKs GPS back to 10.0.8, Gmail, Play, Gboard, etc. and everytime I introduce anything Google , it flakes out, get service stopped messages from Play Services, Gboard stops, etc. Oddly enough GHandwriting works which i use alot on m other tabs with Onenote, which also won't run, I am assuming b c of GPS; Onenote installs passively, but errors out 8000400 evertime, which seems to be some kind of sign in error, but TS steps I have found have not worked. OTher than the Google and MS snafus, device runs better than ever and i am resolved to using Evernote and exporting over to one note when i need to, any ideas would be appreciated , I like the size of this device and hate to trash anything useful - Thanks for the reply

Android auto crashes to 'desktop'

Hi,
I have a rooted Xiaomi MT 9 Pro running on LineageOS 18.0 (Android 11). In one of the posts I also asked for help regarding this issue.
When I installed Android Auto (5.7.603964) through APK mirror i ran the setup process. I was able to give the requested permissions. Also i was able to allow Android Auto to be shown in front of other applications. After 'allowing access to messages' the setup process briefly shows a screen called 'configureren' and then crashes to desktop.
I repeated the setup process several times (reinstalled the app, emtied cache, et cetera). Each time i got the same result.
When i start the app after the unfinished setup process, the app crashes to the 'desktop'.
I created a log file using Logcat. You can find the log file here.
I am unsure what causes this issue. Therefore i added this post to both the custom rom section and this section.
Any help is appreciated (please contact me if anything needs to be sorted out).
At the setup log (i will add this log file later) i can see the gearhead version is behind:
'Package com.google.android.projection.gearhead installed ver=57603964 minimum required ver=53000000'.
P.S.
Through Android Auto 'extra in app settings' (at the app info section) I disabled a lot of settings.
Change launcher: the following apps are enabled:
- Close
- Settings
- Maps
- Spotify
Hey Google detection: disabled
Continue media automaticly: disabled
Google assistent (settings):
- Dutch and English installed (and downloaded)
I also tried runnning only English (downloaded and not downloaded)
Weather: disabled
The rest of the settings are disabled too.

Question Issues on Google Setup Wizard on every ROM (probably)

Hi, I'm having issues while syncing my Google account during the Setup Wizard's process, after choosing to restore data from a previous backup.
What happens?
(Tried several times on ArrowOS 12.1 20220808 and on crDroid 8.7 20220801 with either NikGapps 20220709):
- I connect to any type of network (both mobile data and Wi-Fi give the same result);
- the setup wizard asks to "Copy apps & data", but I "can't use old device";
- I apparently successfully log in to my account by solving the 2FA;
- I enter the PIN of the old backup and I choose what to restore everything already selected (Apps, Contacts, SMS and MMS messages, Device Settings and Call History);
- the setup wizard shows the agreement screen where you can toggle stuff (Location and Device maintenance) for a second with a disclaimer explaining how data is used;
- THE WHOLE SCREEN DISAPPEARS;
- a new "loading, please wait" screen appears for less then second;
- the agreement screen shows up again (without the how-data-is-used disclaimer), letting me toggling stuff (but there's no "Back up to Google Drive" option);
- completing the setup wizard, I have to log in again as it looks like the device has never had a Google account linked (even though there's a notification saying it's restoring apps and related data, but it's stuck on 0 over X apps to install);
- logging in again lets me restore apps data but not device settings and it also lets me choose to back up to Google Drive;
What doesn't solve this problem?
- changing ROM version
- factory resetting the phone or any sort of clean flash
How did this problem came up?
I flashed ArrowOS vanilla over the GApps build for error, then I dirty flashed the GApps build and some errors came up, therefore I clean flashed and started having issues.
I have no clue on how to solve this and on why this happens either, and I found no one facing the same issue on the net. I don't think it's a ROM-related issue (since changing ROM doesn't solve the problem), this is why I'm asking here.
How can I solve this?
Can you use another device to login to your google account via a web browser and check there is a backup in existence ?

Hi there. Now I'm running a different ROM, tho, PixelOS. I just clean flashed it. Also, it might be the old backup that caused the problem with those ROMs, while the newer backup I used (created on ArrowOS) didn't cause any.
