So I've just got my note 9 and was trying out Bixby voice and the voice wake up is not working. I can see that when I say hi Bixby it hears me because in the notifications something appears in the right corner for a brief moment but it doesn't do anything.
I had the same problem on my note 8 but was not using Bixby much. On the note 9 Bixby 2.0 seems much better and I would like to use it but this bug is really annoying especially because it's a new phone and new version of Bixby so I was hoping they would fix it.
Does anyone have any idea how to solve this?
I have the exact same issue. When I first turned on the phone it was working. After installing all the app's from my previous phone and synchronized with all accounts it started acting up like that. I suspect an app is the culprit....
I have the same problem as well on unlocked phone Bixby sometimes hears me and sometimes the Bixby will show in notification bar then disappear. Also same goes with saying ok Google or hey Google does not respond but when i press the microphone button to talk to her she hears my words ok without missing any.

When i had this similar issues on my Note 8 ,
with Bixby and Google Assistant
I pinpointed it to the Edge lighting app. I stopped using Edge lighting and issues were fixed.
There's a topic of this issues, somewhere in Note 8 forum.
On my Note 9 i don't use Bixby and don't use Edge lighting.
So cannot comment on Bixby
Overall got no issues with Google Assistant

Yes, maybe it has happened once or twice that
Google Assistant does not respond.
Otherwise it's working fine.
I presumed Bixby should then also work
as on my old Note 8.
I've tried bloody everything under the sun to try and get Google assistant to work from standby (a feature that I loved in my redmi note 9 Pro) does anybody else have this problem?

Yes, i've always been able to do it, from my Redmi 5 plus to my last phone, Redmi Note 9 pro..even my GF can do it on her Mi 9.
I think it's a problem with Android 11, but can't be sure unless i get feedback from other users...I've tried all google setting (including the personalisation by ticking all boxes) tried everything in MIUI to no avail...it's a brilliant feature as i used to be able to just ask the time in bed/set an alarm etc without having to wake the screen...especially useful if you can't find your phone, just say 'ok google' and you can usually hear it!
Whenever i try it on my RN 10 pro, my RN9 Pro chirps up instead acting on behalf of it's much thicker bigger brother.

maybe 'trust' can work. check with headphones after approving as trusted device

Do you mean it's not accessible on your device?
I've used my headphones in the past but that was just part of it being open normally.i.e it shouldn't matter as i don't always have my headphones connected for it to work.
As i stated it can't be for security reasons as i've had this feature on previous Xiaomi phones (and my GFs phones as well) it's just the RN 10 pro...i'm wondering if it's because of Android 11?

I'm Redmi 9 owner since 4 months 4/64 version. My phone is working on MIUI 12.0.1.0 Global right now, and I have weird problem during using navigation in Google Maps. Blue arrow which show drive direction from time to time is rotating, sometimes over 70⁰. When this took place maps is rotating on left or right. This is very annoying. Any Redmi 9 owners has the same problem? It's hardware problem or Google Maps update or MIUI 12.5 and Android 11 can solve problem? What are you thinking?

This is the only problem, I can't figure out as to why. Details: The phone has a screen protector, this happens in some apps only.
Would someone please let me know as to why this is happening?

Hell Team XDA,
I am looking for a working AAOS rom for Pixel 4A 5g.
I tried to build one as per the instructions provided in the link here. This has got lot of issue like flickering screen randomly, auto bluetooth turn on/off continuously, can't detect the sim card, minimal resopsive touch.
Had anyone tried out to get their hands dirty on this? Since my exposure to the libraries/HAL and those related layers is very minimal, I am curious to know if any success in this area.
