Hello everyone,
after gathering a lot of useful information here, I'm lost and just reading isn't enough.
I have bought a new (i.e. unused) xz1c with a carrier branding with no vendor lock and no sim lock, the radio was working as expected, I could make a call.
After unlocking the bootloader and flashing several custom ROMs (thru TWRP) and a few returns to various versions of stock firmware (thru Flashtool & EMMA), I get no service at all, and can't find any more settings to tweak. Does anyone have an idea how I can restore the functionality? Or if all is lost, why?
I don't mind using stock anymore, as long as I can actually make phonecalls..
Current state:
* G8441_47.2.A.11.228_DE.ftf flashed with FlashTool
* IMEI, phone number, IMSI and carrier all recognized and visible (e.g. with *#*#4636#*#*)
* Network "unknown", Service status "Radio off"
* Baseband version: 8998-8998.gen.prodQ-00278-47 (was always like this with all ROMs I think)
Random details which might be relevant:
* the radio was working for a day or two on the 2nd custom ROM (HavocOS v3.11, 1st custom ROM - crDroid v7.6 - had no signal), after I selected the modem config for my carrier in the xperia settings and did the switch in Mobile network settings from 4G to 3G and back to 4G. After a couple of switches to airplane mode it never came back.
* I cannot change "Preferred network type" and "Automatically select network" settings.
* I've tried various custom ROMs (crDroid, Havoc, Lineage) based on Android 10 &11 and stock ROMs with android 8&9, and two SIM cards from two different carriers.
* Although I get "network configuration" message which apparently sets up APNs, I also tried with a manual APN config taken from the carrier's website.
* It always takes a few minutes to recognize the SIM card (i.e. switch from "No SIM card" mode to "No service" mode)

I have an SGS GT-I9000T. I have been flashing ROMs for the past twelve months without issue - until now. I flashed a ROM from RomKitchen - and it went well. I had two to three bars (fluctuating) signal strength - where I would otherwise have three. I didn’t check to see if I could make a phone call - but I had no Internet access when using it as a mobile AP. Nor could I load pages with the phone’s browser. Decided to revert back to the backup - and that went well too. However - I am now left with no service.
I have tried several times now to revert to the backup. I have flashed several different ROMs through CWM and Odin. I have flashed different modems. I’ve wiped data / factory reset / cache partition / dalvik cache before flashing - after flashing - and re-flashed. I’ve used the *2767*3855# code. Nothing has worked.
I have spent the past week looking for a solution - and I understand that there is a lot of information on similar issues both here and on other sites - but nothing has helped.
One suggestion was to flash back to the stock ROM. I cannot however find a stock Telstra ROM. Found links to some - but they’re all down.
The IMEI is good - matches the one printed on the phone under the battery.
‘Telstra’ is listed on the lock screen - not sure if that means anything though.
Settings > About phone > Status - lists Phone number and Network as unknown. Signal strength as -111 dBm 1 asu. Mobile network state as Disconnected. Service state as Out of service.
Settings > Wireless and network > Mobile networks > Access point names - has nothing selected. Setting APNs to default on CM leaves nothing selected - and selecting the correct one does nothing. On Darky’s ROM setting APNs to default clears all listed - and I get the ‘No items’ screen instead.
No idea what to do...
here are some stocks:
register to samfirmware.com
if you are in north america
if you are in middle east
both links confirmed...

Long story short, a friend gave me an I9305, however, I can't connect to a supported 3G network.
He had toyed around with the device (rooted, installed CM11), then reverted unrooted and reverted to stock firmware. When I got the device, I rooted it with Framaroot, flashed CWM 6.0.4.5, then flashed CM11 and Boeffla kernel. My SIM card was quite old and my carrier told that it doesn't support 3G, so I filed up for a new one. Ok, I got it, however..I'm yet again stuck on EDGE!!!
Tried reflashing CM11, CWM, flashed almost every radio baseband modem from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2010116 to no avail. My IMEI is intact, as well as my Serial Number.
Yes, I read all threads, I tried going to Settings>Wireless&networks> More > Mobile Netwroks >Preffered Network type and checked all options. When I select 3G only, the icon goes to "H", but i can't access the web. After 10-20 seconds, the H icon dissappears and I'm forced to reboot the phone to regain my EDGE data.
At the moment, I'm running the latest Omni ROM nightly. My operator supports all 3G and LTE bands, and I got the correct APNs.
Should I flash a stock ROM and check if this does the job?
I'll greatly appreciate any help, because I'm stuck.
Wipe phone factory reset flash stock rom with modem and csc for your network.

I can't check my csc code - whenever i type a code in the dialer I get "connection timed out or invalid mmi code". The only ones that work are *#06# and *#*#4636#*#*...
Ok, so I'm running a stock 4.3 rom and STILL have no 3G....tried everything.
Anyone, help?
Maybe if you can try to downgrade to a firmware 4.1.2 via Mobile Odin and then try and access the service mode menu. From there you may be able to enable the 3G/LTE DRX (Radio) which seems to remain a permanent change in the phone once you upgrade again to 4.3.
Hi guys,
I am currently on custom rom Infinity F2 and trying to upgrade to stock MM my note 5 duo 9200.
After i flash the stock firmware and boot properly, i have the following issue:
Although i see both signals on status bar, the phone says it is not registered on network. Moreover the menu networks is missing from the list of menus in order to try and register manually.
In the about the phone menu, the imei of both sim cards are displayed, however the network is unknown.
I tried switching the network modes from auto 4g to other options with no luck. Multiple restarts didn't help as well. Really can't figure out what is the issue.
P.s. tried to install the stock firmware by flashing it directly over the custom rom from odin and also after wiping everything except the internal storage. Same results.

Guys, who can help?
Bought a MI5 from China (I'm brazilian), updated to MiUI 9 then suddenly it stopped working both Sims.
Sim 2 doesn't connect no matter what I do. Sims recognizes carrier but zero signal and only LTE (as screenshot). When I try to call some, it says that it's not possible. Details: Sim1 only get LTE if I'm connected to Wi-Fi, otherwise it's no service as sim2.
Did research here and
> Both IMEIs are working, appearing in *#06* and are the same on the box
> Gone to carrier and there's NO imei block
> Tried to flash, downgrade, upgrade from to every version available in the MiUI download section (tried China too, no sucess)
> Did hard reset
> Flashed only modem files from a stable room (tried with dev too)
> Tried *#*#4636#* options, leaving Sim1 as LTE/WCDMA and Sim2 WCDMA preferred and nothing
> Tried too to restore efs partition but I did not had a backup so I don't think it's gonna work. And I don't think thats the problem too once both imeis appear and baseband OK.
Used QPST but it didn't worked
I don't know what to do anymore. Can you guys give some light?
Thanks in advance
I would post imgs but I'm new user and can't,

Hello everyone!
I am new to custom ROM flashing. I got a Samsung Note 8 N950N (korean model - I guess) - but it shows N950F in Settings app. I got a used phone from someone, and they had installed some custom ROM on it.
Now, I flashed LineageOS 17.1 on it, everything is working smoothly so far but my mobile network isn't working. I can't make or receive calls. The phone is showing "Emergency Calls Only" - but showing the network name, and I can also access the SIM card toolkit inside the phone.
I tried clearing cache and everything but can't seem to make it work. I tried using the manual cellular search, but it says couldn't find any network.
It is a dual sim phone, I had 2 IMEI appearing on earlier ROM, but now with LineageOS 17.1 - I am only getting 1 IMEI as well.
Update: I restored to the OLD ROM (LamLazy Rom v3 Dual SIM) - and the network is now working back on the phone. I don't know why it wasn't working on LineageOS 17.1, can someone please help?
Did you manage to get a custom working with cell service too?
