I used to have a black rubberized one that broke, I bought another one (from what I thought was the same retailer on Amazon) and this one does not fit. Anyone want to recommend one?
The Qmadix case works well and is very cheap on amazon. Only problem is that you may break the little "fingers" on the "ring" part of the case that goes around the screen if you remove it which renders it useless. It happened to me. I was able to warranty it through the retailer since it was within 30 days. I tried to contact Qmadix first though but by the time they got back to me it had already been a week and a half which was putting me too close to the 30 day cut off. So I had warrantied it through the retailer. By the time I paid shipping to me the first time and shipping the broken one back I had almost $20 in the thing.
It'll fit with the extended battery from Motorola also if you leave off the back plate. It will go on with the back plate but the top right corner won't clip all the way on.
Comes with a protective sheath thing too that would be MUCH more useful if the belt clip could be removed without breaking it off..or if it somehow folded flush with the back of the sheath thing.

This may sound stupid, but did you remove the insert from the cardock? It comes with a shim installed to hold a naked phone, but it is removable to hold a cased phone.
Are they good? They're even advertised as "Genuine" for $7~8, but without the HTC logo at front / back.
Ebay link
Note: Yes, we know that not everybody likes the dot view case.

Here's the one with the HTC logo for a few bucks more.
Personally, I think it's the same exact piece of plastic. One just has a logo and a steeper price.

Guess what bro, those aren't genuine either even if they say so. If you look at the pics you'll notice that some don't have the htc logo
I have the genuine gray, I bought it when I've got the phone, but I'm curious about the quality of the ones they're selling for $8, that's it.
To be honest they look exactly the same but I would like a closer look. Sellers in Amazon claim that they're identical to the genuine with the exception of the logo.

I always stay away from unbranded stuff, but these called my attention because they look identical and there are more colors available
Don't put a 10cent case on a $600 phone.....spend the money on a genuine case.

Weirdly I got one on eBay for about 9$ sold as authentic and I figured why not get one to check out how much I like it and it was HTC branded. Although that could be faked.

I had an original dot view case that I purchased the week the M8 came out. I accidentally ripped the front from the back trying to stretch it to go over my glass screen protector. Back in July I purchased this one, http://www.ebay.com/itm/291190318285.
It doesn't say HTC and obviously an overseas knockoff. In my opinion it's much, much nicer than the OEM version. It will flip open all the way back easily and isn't near as springy. It also works with my .3mm glass screen protector, http://www.aliexpress.com/snapshot/6100440084.html.

Don't use one of these cases for protection period. I can almost state with certainty that if you drop your phone on any kind of solid surface, it will definitely come flying out of these cases. In fact, if you clumsily open the case to fast the device will come flying out sometimes. That is in the original from Verizon. They offer some screen protection while in pockets or bags, but little to no drop protection & even in bags, the top & bottom of the device is not protected from scratches.
It was a little more than I remembered but it's 13$ http://www.ebay.com/itm/221503424128?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
The pictures are of mine.
Beyond that I agree with the post above mine, the dot view case is very functional as an accessory but as a protector it's useless it pops out so easily.

I ordered this one last night and hope to see it in the mail sometime next week.

And I also agree with the two previous posts. I bout the official case back in June and two weeks ago, it fell on a carpeted space and the phone flew out of it as well as the corners that secure the phone popping off. Since I enjoyed the functionality of the case, I ordered the above since spending $40.00 for something HTC will not stand behind (I tried to get them to replace it but was told they would not) was not something I was willing to do again.
I will report back pnce I get it.
I had the fake one with logo and the real deal case I got from a Verizon store. Felt the fake with the logo was just as good. So went to return the real deal case at Verizon. Turns out I mistakenly packaged the fake one and returned that one to Verizon(honest mistake). I had no idea until later when I took my One out of my csndyshell case and popped it in the dot view....So while I didn't mean to do that, I ended up with the real deal case. But honestly the fake one closed better than the real one. That is how close they are.
I'm on the Dot View case fence. I really like the concept but the reviews I've read have kept me from picking one up. Does the flap "loosen up" for lack of a better term after using it over time. What I mean is when open and flipped to the back does it start loosing it's springness that people complain about. I like hearing that the generic's seem just as good as the one from htc. I may just have to pick one up at the lower price.
I had an authentic one, and then recently bought one of those non-authentic ones.
As a direct comparison, they both look the same, but the quality is different. particularly, the dots' translucent level is very uneven, so you'll get random brighter vs darker patches
on the authentic one, all dots have consistent translucency
OME or Knock-off, I wish that someone would come out with one that snaps on decently (even if it used double-sided tape) and maybe wrapped in leather. The plastic makes the phone feel so cheap! I had the original. I have since misplaced it since I got a cheap otterbox knock off for now. Does the job, but I do miss the DotView for the cool factor.

I have an OEM Dot View case and love it. I spent about $15 for it on Amazon. HTC also updated Dot View to add more functionality. And I was surprised yesterday by the Halloween animations. I'm very impressed by it and glad I got it.
SoI received my case today in the mail and here are my findings:
1. The case closes just as well as the OEM one I had.
2. The plastic case itself feels a bit thinner that the OEM one but I like that since I felt the OEM one was a bit too thick and added bulk to the phone.
The "Seams are not as smooth as the OEM but I am going to try and use a nail file and see if I can't fix that my self
4. The "Springiness" of the hinge that is in the OEM is not present in this case as it was in the OEM
5. The cover does not lay flat on the back of the case when opened all the way but I think that is just due to the design of the case.
6. The case seeme to snap onto the phone as well as the OEM case did.
To me, the $8.00 I spent on this case is totally worth it. As a matter of fact, I might order myself a second one to have different colors to chose from. If you think about it, for the price of one OEM you can get 6 of these in different colors and still have $2 and change left over!
I posted some pics of the case but it's hard to see any details.
Hope this helps you guys make a choice.

I dropped my red turbo a while back and put a decent scuff on the upper right corner. I have been thinking about swapping out the back plate for a while. I think I am going to go with the ballistic nylon this time around. They aren't too expensive so I can always get a red and switch back if I want to. My question is, does anyone know of any US based sellers that have them? eBay is the only place I have found them and I hate to have to wait forever for it to come from China. If anyone knows where to get them or has one they dont need anymore, let me know.

None of the replacement back plates for the droid turbo are listed as US stock. Only the digitizer assemblies. If you're going to get a back plate from this site, it will be shipping from China.
I wouldn't be too afraid of ordering from China though. I ordered a replacement back plate from AliExpress. It took 3 weeks to get here, but it was in perfect condition.
Two fast questions, anyone tried adopted replica vs original adopted case for Nexus 5X?
I found this. What you guys think about it?
It's safe use original xiaomi usb-type c converter? Don't know if I can put that link or not.

Did you find anything on the original vs replica case?
I don't know about the alternative case, but the original Adopted in blue was horrible. Within a few months, it had become discolored and darker from fingerprints. I tried everything from soaking it in bleach to scrubbing it with Ajax. Nothing removed the marks. The biggest contrast was when I took the case off and saw the original bright blue on the inside. Unfortunately, I threw it away already and don't have pictures of how bad it was. I'm upset that I paid $20 for this case.
I got this case last week, and it's been great. Prime shipping for only $8.

Google's price is $35. How come did you buy it at $20? Are you sure it's not fake?
BTW, I'm currently using Spigen's ultra hybrid case. But a large portion near camera and fingerprint sensor is open in it so I feel insecure to get scratched from debris on that area. Otherwise it's fine. More to mention that, due to its small legs on four corners it doesn't touch the camera when left on flat surface.

My bad. I failed to notice the microfiber part. I was talking about this one, but that's not comparable to what the OP was asking about. Sorry for the confusion.
i bought the $35 case listed on google from ebay for $11.. I got it after 10 days and it looks great i like it.. I dont have original one to compare but i like the feel of the case..
I've the replica of the Adopted microfiber case, actually I'm pretty satisfied about it. My overall impression is that it's less beautiful than the original one from a lot of details like the plastic around the flash and the color and shape of the writings... It fits very well with my Spigen tempered glass btw
In a nutshell I have this today:
It's my first day with my phone. I cannot use any case because in my country (Turkey) it's impossible to find any cases. I bought some but they will be delivered at least 1 month ago.
So is there any-where to find a replacement part for my back cover? I asked it to Oneplus itself but they told me that they don't sell spare parts. I looked into ebay but there's not any of it.
I know it's not a big thing but I have a big OCD problem. And it looks like a disaster to me.
ANy help will be appreciated.
I've seen many parts on eBay for OnePlus 3 but no replacement back cover yet. They have everything else though like front glass, vibration motor, battery, antenna, speaker, camera cable.

Ouch, I feel your pain dude.. I would suggest maybe covering it up with a skin for the time being and when they do start making replacement backings eventually, get one then..
two months ago, seen at Aliexpress, price was around 70$, but now item is not available. Just contact with CS and ask how much they will charge for back housing replacement at RMA.

Try one of these in the meanwhile. I'm sure you'll find a combination that suits your style!

Im sure trying to replace it on your own will cause more damage to the device because you can mess up adhesives, screen, other internals & etc
And when they say they dont sell parts it means you will endup with a cheaper manufactured backcover that is not even original. Just keep the device as it is those two dots shouldnt bother you
I'll bough 2 original cases. I think it will be ok when I get them.
By the way on the teardown videos of OnePLus 3 it looks pretty easy to remove the back cover. No adhesive or something. Just removing the bottom screws will do the job.
Man, i had the absolute same problem. When i unpacked my OP3, the charger fell out of the xox and hit the phone on the absolute same place on the bezel
I sold mine on ebay the other day and ordered a new one.
it's really simple to disassemble op3. two screws, and back cover is removed. no glue, ect.

I know I'm late here but how do you guys suggest it would be possible to produce fake back housings at the price they are charging for them? I mean how many people would realistically buy parts exclusively made for one device, and an oneplus 3 at that? A few thousand people at most? If this is the case I don't think it would be financially viable to make any sort of production line for these parts. Aside from stealing original ones from the factory, or mabye defective ones I don't see how they would produce such a limited quantity for so cheap unless they are originals? Any insight?
There are many options for the back cover. The back on my Oneplus 3 was damaged but not as bad as yours. I was planning to replace my back but all i had was a tiny scratch so it wasn't worth it. I will change it when my back is really messed up. When you search for the cover on ebay just search for battery cover You can tell most fakes as they don't have the oneplus logo and for a different colour, try to get one with the sim card tray. Try to get a cover near Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Guangdong that's where the Oneplus headquaters is. There's also a midnight black cover as well!
