My name is Stefan but you can call me RMS. An year ago I started rooting my Samsung devices an found the xda developers forum. I knew about this but i didn't use it.
When my grandpa gave me his old Samsung phone I installed a custom rom from xda forum and now 6 months later I created an account.

Hello Everyone! I am Brand New to the XDA Forums. I found XDA Forums by mistake while searching Google for something about my Smartphone (Samsung Galaxy A21) and when I visited the website, I just had to join. I am sure someone here can help me out with my issues with my Samsung Galaxy A21 Smartphone and also my Acer Chromebook 315! The Forums seem extremely active and it seems as if everyone here participates in some way, which is incredible. I also love some of the features I've already came across on the Forums. Excellent work, I cannot wait to see what is added to the XDA Forums next, I am quite excited, even as a New Member.

Hello and welcome aboard!
Hello,
i'm an computer science student from germany (Moin an alle meine deutschen Freunde ).
I know the forum since i rooted my Galaxy S3 back in 2013 but never made an account.
I always loved to tweak my phone like i wanted, and not how the companies think we want it.
After some years with an IPhone (obviusly jailbroken) i am finally back to Android and came back to XDA to root my Pixel 5 and change some thing up.
And now that i know how to code im also looking forward to read more into Android programming an maybe release some Apps or tweaks in the future.
Greetings
Welcome to XDA. Please take a moment to review the XDA Forum Rules and Forum Etiquette, linked in my signature.
I am also a Pixel 5 user. Here is the Pixel 5 subforum.

Hello world!
Hello all, I am and old returning member.
Interested in technology, I subscribed to xda in the early 2007 and participated in testing windows mobile phones.
I then switched to testing HTC and galaxy roms.
I left the forum a few years back as I got interested in automotive.
I am now back as Android tablets are now 1 part of automotives infotainment.
I Lost my password over the years and therefore have a new user name.

I don't like to change my phone too often, but when I do, I always root it. I've managed to root several over the years, and installed a custom ROM on my Xperia, often (mostly) with the help of this forum. Never posted or even been a member until now.
Originally from the UK, living in Spain since the days of dialup.
Welcome to the xda family.
Cheers.
