Drivers-wise, I believe all the ROMs available are the same, so I don't think you will get some performance boost picking one or another ROM. And a Jelly Bean ROM won't affect (let alone improve) app compatibility, as far as I know. Sadly, we have to rely on the developers making their apps compatible with the x86 architecture (which is stupidly easy for those which doesn't have any ARM-only coding, but not that easy if the contrary is true).

A95x F4 S905x4 Magisk / Root

Has anyone managed to install magisk on a95x f4 tv box? how? Is it stable?

I've tried unpacking the stock firmware, patching the boot.PARTITION on magisk, and repacking it, causing a bootloop. Root apps dont work. Any ideas?

You likely have verity enabled, you need to patch the kernels to boot flag 2 so it bypasses, you need to patch vendor boot and boot, but will likely get N/A if its pre-rooted, as you need to remove all root traces, and its more then just removing a previous su binary. All the scripting called through init etc. There is a lot of stuff that needs editing for Magisk to work, I have gotten it working on a few android 11 devices. Working on a method hopefully that does not take so long by using a script. But we will see. Cheers.

If you just decompile the firmware, you can add root easy, you need a few flags added to the kernel and to a build.prop. its a little different but not much. I have done 4 - X4 revisions, android 12 revisions or 3588, its all the same. If anyone needs the flags or help just let me know. Happy to pass knowledge since most rom devs hold their secrets instead of actually helping people, Just saying....

Here are a few flags you can add to the kernel and to the prop.... Read about what they mean before just doing something so I am not blamed. You can easily decompile any firmware and its images manually or with tools, I have my own SDK and tools I have written. But You can patch most of kernels as long as they have a ramdisk. I have translated it so I am hoping it will be close, you can decompile the kernel, you. Any rom that has any form of root should have that removed, init portions, start up services etc, sometimes you will have boot ramdisk and sometimes you will have vendor boot ramdisk depending on the version of android, you need to edit those props as well, if its a user firmware or eng you will have to add flags so its able to start adbd root. These are just some quick notes. When I build a firmware from the ground up I do a lot of things, but those are just a few things you will need to add. You can aldo disable AVB, you can use Android Boot Editor, AIK as well will work, I manually do this stuff, but these are methods that will work. So you will want to patch the vbmeta partitions as well. This method works on roms I created on 10, 11 and 12. If you need more guidance let me know. Cheers.

Question Motorola Edge S Pro Google Pay?

Hi everyone, I checked some threads here, but was not able to answer all my questions, so I believe it will be good for other users as well if we can gather answers to those questions which I would like to know. As I read Motorola Edge S Pro DOES NOT support Google Pay, but I'm highly interested to get this phone, as I can get it for half of the price of Edge 20 Pro. So here are my questions:
1. Is it possible to make Google Pay work on Motorola Edge S Pro at all?
2. If "Yes" is it possible to make it work on the Chinese ROM or it's only possible on the Global ROM?
3. If it's only possible on the Global ROM, is there a way to flash Global ROM which support OTA update, because all the sellers say Global ROM does not support OTA, which it's a bit inconvenient as I always need to re-flash it when there is a newer version of the software, right?
4. When I order the phone, what's your suggestion - do I need to get one with stock China ROM or do you advice me to tell the seller to install Global ROM i.e. which will be better for me in terms for further modifications?

Hey man. Google Play is available on the Edge S Pro. You just need to update the phone to the latest update when you get it. Then you should be able to download Google Play from the Chinese app store already on the phone

As I understand it, when you unlock the bootloader of any android device, the OS understands that security has been compromised (as if a backdoor was half-open). In this case, some apps, such as Netflix, banks, games, NFC payment system, understand that with this "gap" the user's security can also be compromised (bank for example) and that's why the app is not even listed in the store of apps or others work with limitations.

So i decided to share them myself . In QFIL , under the tools tab you'll see partition manager. You can use that to either copy each partition individually or write/flash onto them.

I lost the baseband and the imei , I don't have the necessary programs to solve it , they are charging me 50USD

Question Fingerprint registration not working

Can anyone help me, the fingerprint registration is not working, follow video.
I've done the hard reset, I've also downgraded to android 11 and it doesn't work either.
Asus' own sensor test is saying that everything is ok.

Hello I suggest you to try cleaning your screen with alcohol solution after that download and run a touch screen repair/calibration app from the Play Store. Then try to add a fingerprint.

Hello Ibolito,
I did this test, and it says the sensor is ok, so I think it's just the calibration loss.
I also downgraded to android 11, and in it the only difference is that an error message appears and it doesn't even let me try.
And finally, I can't even unlock the bootloader to try something different.

Alguém sabe a origem deste aplicativo, tenho o mesmo problema com o zenfone 8 e acho que será uma forma única de ajustar a impressão digital. Moro no Brasil e não quero mandar para a China para consertos.
O vídeo abaixo mostra como ajustar mas tentei usar no zen 8 e não funciona devido a compatibilidade.
