Hi I've recently upgraded my MIUI to 12.5.1 Global and my battery has gotten really bad
Is there a way I can uninstall my MIUI upgrade?
I can't give you feedback about 12.5.1 but I updated straight to 12.5.3 (global) and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
If you do want to go back you have to unlock the device first and then you could flash an older version

global, I downloaded it from the web, didn't get it through OTA yet (only 12.5.1 through OTA for me at least)
And since I saw a lot of people complaining about 12.5.1 I skipped straight to 12.5.3 and everything seems ok so far.

Hi sorry it this has been asked before but I've recently received my mi 11 ultra global version from Vodafone UK. Like the phone but some issues that are making me debate whether to keep it. Touches missing, battery life and sub par camera. Because I'm on the global version I'm on MiUI 12.0.2. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can flash the EU rom onto this to try out 12.5 to see if I want to keep the phone. I highly doubt we'll see a global release for 12.5 before my time to return the device runs out. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks
You need to apply for the bootloader unlock process ( takes around 7 days ) and then you can flash the fastboot xiaomi.eu ROM on it just fine.
Good luck !
Brilliant thanks for the reply mate
So my bootloader is unlocked. I got Chinese model with global flashed. Can i flash EU rom via fastboot itself?

Of course you can especially by fastboot. You can flash EU custom ROM or EEA The only problem is you will have Chinese Bands no matter what ROM you install.

Flash it by twrp, not fastboot. Just in case. It's much safer by twrp. And of course, you'll need to track down a Vodafone ROM to return it if you do but I doubt it after flashing EU. And don't worry about the bands as someone said, you'll not miss out on anything.

I am assuming you mean stock. That would actually be the EEA rom. The Xiaomi.eu rom, which is the China rom. minus Chinese bloat and Google services added in must be flashed using TWRP.

He could flash the earlier one by fastboot
Why would flash a rom from over a month ago? The last fastboot rom was issued 5-13.
Hi all,
Sitting with a Mi 11 Ultra Global that still runs with 12.0.1.0 fw. From what I've seen, based on the fw trackers, it is the least updated; China is Stable at 12.5.6, during time of writing.
That said, what are your experiences when it comes to fw updates on Global variants?
In general, I am satisfied (coming from OP 8 Pro) but there are some issues that I've read are fixed in 12.5, and can wait. The question is just how long? Experiences, please?

I totally agree with you, I came from op6t to this beast, which is awesome. I can find few bugs here and there, and I agree with others that EU is much better, but I do not want to back and restore my device all the time. and I am confident that global FW will come very soon, maybe sooner than expected (I know some people will comment back - maybe very late or later than expected ). I am pretty impressed with the performance in all aspects. so I will stay on OTA's even though I can see the number of people who are satisfied with their FW upgrade.
But you know, feeling impatient is a thing now matter what you convince your self with
I'm still on 12.0.2 no sign of updates yet I'm using global from Vodafone in the UK. I've had the phone for 2 weeks but One thing I have noticed is that my battery life has suddenly improved by about 30 percent the last couple of days. Really a massive improvement with no updates. Maybe it's learning my usage but it's been a very noticeable improvement.
In Germany, we have 12.0.6 on the Mi 11 Ultra from O2 / Telekom/ Vodafone

Did you wipe cache and dalvik cache after the update? Always needed after an update. I've got no issues of this type after this week's update on mine. Always worth a reboot too.
Hello, I have an 11T Pro which has global ROM and is tuck on version 12.5.10 since December, I see that there have been a few global updates released after that but I haven't received any updates. Anyone knows why?

Hi!
For the last 3 weeks I was trying to unlock my Redmi note 10 5g to put the global version on it. (Buy Chinese)
Well, I got it yesterday, but it's giving this problem here that it doesn't want to restart. Does this fit like soft brick? If yes, how can I solve this problem?
OBS: I've already passed the 12.5.5 recovery file and it didn't help.
Thanks
The problema Is nota clear, buy of your phone dont boot reflash correct firmware via fastboot. I suggest stato on china version. Is Better than global. Miui 13 stabile Is available with more function than global. Do you want change your phone with mi è global?
In the video i didnt saw any error message
I installed global version 12.5.3 and it worked LOL
Global version 12.5.5 is giving a lot of trouble.
I will install the Chinese version myself

I was wondering if changing an already converted Chinese model from NE2215 to NE2213 is less risky than the initial conversion?
Any models I see are already on the Global ROM and I want it to be on the EU ROM, and was hoping there was an easy way to do it.
Can it be done with Oxygen Updater like with previous models and does anyone have any experience with this?
Does anyone have any idea if it's easier?
Think you have to try

Can you update to the latest update? I read that the Global Rom cannot install the newest OxygenOS update.
How did you change roms? Is that the OPLocalUpdate you are referring to?

How did you install the A14 update, I got my nephew a Chinese OnePlus 10 Pro that was flashed with the Global Rom and it will not install the A14 update and that was part of the reason I wanted to install the EU Rom (That and the Dual Sim functionality)
EDIT:- My phone will be here in the next few days.

Was it originally the NE2215 or was it the Chinese Version flashed with the Global Rom? (NE2210 model)
The one I am getting is NE2210 with the NE2215 Rom installed, and I was hoping to get the EU Rom by your method instead and not have to risk bricking it by flashing the EU Rom using Fastboot Enhance.

Thanks for the link, I feel pretty confident in flashing it. I guess the people who bricked their phones, did not delete the cow files and that is what caused their phones to stop working. As long as I delete those files I should be fine. Thanks again for all the help.
no need to get complicated... you can switch from one region to another just by installing the rollback rom of the region you want

Awesome, I hoped that was the case. I'll give it a shot when the phone arrives tomorrow or the next day. Thanks for confirming.
