Hi!
For the last 3 weeks I was trying to unlock my Redmi note 10 5g to put the global version on it. (Buy Chinese)
Well, I got it yesterday, but it's giving this problem here that it doesn't want to restart. Does this fit like soft brick? If yes, how can I solve this problem?
OBS: I've already passed the 12.5.5 recovery file and it didn't help.
Thanks
The problema Is nota clear, buy of your phone dont boot reflash correct firmware via fastboot. I suggest stato on china version. Is Better than global. Miui 13 stabile Is available with more function than global. Do you want change your phone with mi รจ global?
In the video i didnt saw any error message
I installed global version 12.5.3 and it worked LOL
Global version 12.5.5 is giving a lot of trouble.
I will install the Chinese version myself

Hello guys!
I really need your help. I am a noob in flashing...etc, I wanted to flash my Mi11 pro from 12.5 Chinese version to the Global one 12.0 by following all tutorials and videos. Now I am stuck with an endless flashing time. I noticed that it's stuck in flashing boot_vendor.img.I have no idea what to do. Tried to click refresh and flash again in the Miflash tool but nothing happens.
Should I unplug the device?
Finally I closed the Miflash tool and tried again, now I am getting a missmatch error "echo missmatching image and device". Any solution?
Does it boot?
If not you might need EDL , you pay them and they'll remotely flash global rom back on your device so it will boot. There multiple threads explaining how to do this here. Have a read.
You should never install firmware that is older than your current firmware , I'd say that's why there's issues.
I believe you were warned prior to doing this ? Sounds like you did it anyway .
Yes, I admit. But humans are humans.
Yes, I think it's pretty bricked. I will look for an EDL.

You mean the original one? I tried but I keep getting the same error in fastboot mode. And in edl mode I am asked to provide an auth mi account.
I flashed from CN 12.5.3 to CN 12.0.1 fine, so it's not as clear as saying it won't work. I don't think anyone has worked out why so many phones are being bricked but some are quite happy to suggest watching more youtube videos for ad revenue which probably won't help fix your phone.
I went from CN to Global to EEA to EU with no issues.
If you find cheaper method do share.
You were warned not to downgrade, so now pay stupid money for the stupid action.
Hallelujah!!!!!!!
Believe it or not guys! It was just a matter of usb port, I tried to place the cable in usb 2.0 and everything worked smoothly. Now i'm on global 12.0.1. I am saved hhhhhh

Wow, you flashed the Mi 11 Ultra Global Rom to Mi 11 Pro successfully, didn't you? I really like the Mi 11 Pro but a little bit hesitant with the Chinese exclusive launch from the bad past experience of the Mi 8 SE

Yes, I did and it's working beautifully well. Chinese or not, as long as it shares the same firmware with the ultra, there is nothing to be scared of. The phone is a bit big and heavy for a daily use but it is still a beautiful beast.

Hello and thanx in advance,
1- From which cn version you flashed to global? 12.0.1 or 12.5.3 ?
2 - if you flashed from cn 12.0.1 , how did you downgrade from cn 12.5.3 to cn 12.0.1 ?? Without brick
3 - how did you flash from cn to global without brick ?
4- Which is better from your experience eea or global ?
Hi sorry it this has been asked before but I've recently received my mi 11 ultra global version from Vodafone UK. Like the phone but some issues that are making me debate whether to keep it. Touches missing, battery life and sub par camera. Because I'm on the global version I'm on MiUI 12.0.2. I was wondering if anyone knows if I can flash the EU rom onto this to try out 12.5 to see if I want to keep the phone. I highly doubt we'll see a global release for 12.5 before my time to return the device runs out. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks
You need to apply for the bootloader unlock process ( takes around 7 days ) and then you can flash the fastboot xiaomi.eu ROM on it just fine.
Good luck !
Brilliant thanks for the reply mate
So my bootloader is unlocked. I got Chinese model with global flashed. Can i flash EU rom via fastboot itself?

Of course you can especially by fastboot. You can flash EU custom ROM or EEA The only problem is you will have Chinese Bands no matter what ROM you install.

Flash it by twrp, not fastboot. Just in case. It's much safer by twrp. And of course, you'll need to track down a Vodafone ROM to return it if you do but I doubt it after flashing EU. And don't worry about the bands as someone said, you'll not miss out on anything.

I am assuming you mean stock. That would actually be the EEA rom. The Xiaomi.eu rom, which is the China rom. minus Chinese bloat and Google services added in must be flashed using TWRP.

He could flash the earlier one by fastboot
Why would flash a rom from over a month ago? The last fastboot rom was issued 5-13.
Hello together,
i got an Mi 11 Ultra 12.0.2 RKAEUVF. Is it possible to debrand or switch to an "clean" Rom RKAEUXM without unlocked bootloader?
Thanks in advance

AFAIK you should own the UK version, as the UK is no longer a member of the EEA (European Economic Area).
Got my Mi 11 Ultra from Vodafone in Germany... afaik the updates by Vodafone are realy bad - have to wait for updates for 5 months to be on the same stand like the "clean" Europe/Global Roms.

But global ROM is far behind the EEA (EU) and CN (China) roms...
Latest global is 12.0.2.0.RKAMIXM

Thats right, my Mi 11 Ultra has now "MIUI Global 12.0.2 Stabil RKAEUVF" it is the EU Rom with Vodafone branding afaik. Is there a way to flash it on 12.x.x RKAEUXM (Rom without Vodafone branding)?
I've no direct experience, but I suppose you need to unlock the bootloader and use a tool like this:
XiaoMiTool V2 - Modding of Xiaomi devices made easy for everyone
XiaoMiTool V2 is a easy to use tool to install rom on your Xiaomi device. Modding made easy for everyone! Download it for free now!
www.xiaomitool.com
But ask for more information before proceeding.
@Maximowic have you done it? Did you encounter any issues with it? I'm on the same situation as you, wonder if you figured it out.
I have been on EUVF, too and flashed to the custom EU Rom. I would suggest to flash it via fastboot first and then upgrade to the latest version.
hi,
is there any chance to download this version anywhere as a backup to relock the bootloader in the future?
regards
p.s.
am just not sure if with my current rom 12.5.6.0. RKAEUXM stable i would easily relock the bootloader..
my original rom was vodafone uk 12.0.2.0 RKAEUVF
please
I think you can only relock your bootloader with the original rom you had when you unlocked your bootloader or at least of the same branch
Hi I've recently upgraded my MIUI to 12.5.1 Global and my battery has gotten really bad
Is there a way I can uninstall my MIUI upgrade?
I can't give you feedback about 12.5.1 but I updated straight to 12.5.3 (global) and didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.
If you do want to go back you have to unlock the device first and then you could flash an older version

global, I downloaded it from the web, didn't get it through OTA yet (only 12.5.1 through OTA for me at least)
And since I saw a lot of people complaining about 12.5.1 I skipped straight to 12.5.3 and everything seems ok so far.

I have been to the download site and the EEA version is on there now for 12.5 but some reason recovery ROM say it can't verify the update.

I'm on a UK ROM and was on v12.0.7. Changed the Region to Switzerland, now I'm on v12.0.10. So no way of updated to v12.5 when If I can see a 12.5.3.0 EEA package exists. These is quite a mess with this fireware.
