This week I bought the HTC One. The most of the video's I make have problems with focus. You caan see it on three video's.
Before I start the video I press on the screen to focus. The most times the camera is focussing again in and out n the first 3 seconds. What is the problem?
This is my first post, I cannot link the youtube here for the first 10 postst. You can find my vids on youtube user
There is also one video where the light is blinking.
Hey,
I just got my Note 8 in germany and i was experience some random reboot issues with my phone when using it in no special way.
First of all i thought it might have been due to using the pixel 2 launcher but then I found out that its happening everytime i try to play a 1080p60fps video.
I also experienced having troubles with green artefacts when watching some videos on youtube.
I tried watching in safe mode and with sdcard in and out and its still happening.
Is this a common issue with the note 8 or do i possibly have a Note 8 with a hardware problem?
Thanks for help!
edit: when on performance mode its doing a little better. it takes a little bit to reboot but still no way of actually watching the video due to the artefacts
Exchange your device, artifacts and random reboot on different workloads, means there is a malfunction
Hey Guys,
i wanted to record my Bandpractice with the Video recorder in the Stock Camera App. I took a 15 sec. test video and everything seemed to be fine, so i started the recording and stopped it after 1:20 Hours and started a new one which lasted around 30 mins. On the trainride back home i wanted to look at the videos and it turned out that the two recorded Videos were corrupted. I couldn't open them in the Foto App or in MXVideoplayer. The thumbnails are also grey, while the thumbnails of the others are normal. So when i take a look in to the file details (no matter if in Fileexplorer or on PC) the filesizes are 0,00 Bytes.
First question: What the hell happened?
Second question: is there a way to recover the videos?

So I faced a similar issue..was doing a training session and recorded it...the 1 hour recording ended up just like yours! Greyed icon..but mine showed the storage used around 1GB but the video didn't work ..tried multiple apps.
So after testing I learned that it can only record 20 minutes long video any longer than that it gets corrupted.
I recorded a conference, had to keep stopping the recording exactly at 20 and then restarting the recording again..PLAIN NONSENSE! The reason I bought this phone was for video recording and now I am doomed.
Is anyone else facing this?
So I rooted my galaxy note 8 and everything was fine until at some point my screen started to flicker and it is super random. Sometimes it flickers after 10 minutes of use sometimes I can use it 2 hours until it starts to flicker. And I don't think it's a hardware problem because I never had that problem before I rooted my phone. Any suggestions?
I have had this phone for a few months now and Youtube videos started stuttering when set on 1080p/720p 60fps (it stutters for a bit then it goes away and it comes back after some time), same thing happens with Chrome except the whole phone stutters constantly. I tried clearing the cache, I tried enabling Disable HW Overlay, I tried using YouTube Vanced and it still stutters. I don't what else to do and I don't want to reset the phone to factory since I have a lot of stuff on it which will take a lot of time to back up.
Same thing here.its even worse if you're used to 1.5 or 1.75x speed. It's like frameskipping/framedropping. I don't know if there's a workaround?
Although I think it's the phone processor not being fast enough. On my good old Samsung Galaxy note 9 it's as smooth as it gets
Same.
Does anybody know a fix?
Yeah, it also happened with my Poco M2 6/128 when I was on MIUI 12.5.6, then I installed a custom rom (Project Elixir 1.8 based on Android 12) and now I don't get any stutters or frame drops during 60fps videos anymore. So, I believe MIUI is at fault here.
Custom roms (a12) dont fix the problem for me.
