Last night whatsapp backed-up data on Google drive which was just 400 MB out of my 4GB of data. I was not able to access any of my media. I tried to reinstall whatsapp so that I could get back my media data but only 400 MB was restored and now I can see only 400 MB as my Gdrive data. Please it's a request if someone knows someone from whatsapp who can help me it would be really very helpful. I lost 6000+ photos and memories from past 8 years. I can't express how I feel. Some photos were of the person who isn't here with us. I need some help. A request

OK I love to install games, lot, lot of games. One day, whilst I was installing, I had the message from the system to say that my phone had insufficient Database Memory and required me to delete some games to have the warning disappeared. When I checked with Titanium, I had only 12.5 MB left over 124 MB. I moved all the application if possible to SD Card but it does not free up much memory. So I would like to ask, is there any other way to get the job done effectively? or is there any apk to improve the Database Memory?
Sorry for noob question since I am new with Android and thank you very much
I would like an answer to this question as well, if there is any.
I deleted apps, text messages, emails, and contacts with limited success. As of now, I have a total of 35.8mb of free DB memory, but everything that's still present, I would like to keep. I'm guessing I'm going to run into this problem more and more in the future.
I would like a more convenient way of clearing this unusually small amount of memory that's available, or at least a way to check what data is present at the moment so I can clean it up more effectively.
So, to all you non-noobs: HELP?! Please?
Has anybody come across a problem with low memory after 3 days of use. This is with stock rom and unrooted. Barely 20 apps installed. What in the world could be eating up on the memory i wonder This is definitely the first for me and this is my 4th Android device.
Any apps or way to find out which app is taking up all the memory? Yesterday i checked and it was 600 plus MB free. Now it's only 67.8MB free. WTF
Something definetly not right. I have a lot more apps installed.
Have you accidently installed all your media files ie mp3s, videos onto the phone memory?
Sent from my mobile
Nup....it's in the memory card. Even if i did, i could not have copied so much mp3 and i for sure did not copy any video's.
Is there any way to find out which app is taking up all the memory? I'm using my Sensation and i have more then 40 apps yet it still have some 500 plus MB.
How in the world did i lose 500 to 600 MB to apps on my device.....what's worse.....i don't even know which app. Damn
Anybody has suggestions.....appreciate it

On the Settings -> Applications -> Manage Applications, it should show you how much space each program is taking up. Does anything look unusual on that screen?
I've checked in the manage apps but nothing unusual. Running apps are normal. Nothing very huge. Guess i will have to root the IS to find out what is eating up all the memory
Am trying not to do a factory reset. Would like to find out what apps are killing my phone memory so i can avoid that app. My first guess is Papago
So i finally figured out what app was taking up all my internal memory....Contact Storage was taking up 886MB.
It only had 442 contacts in it.....anybody knows why it would take up so much contact storage space?? Care to share?
original information: http://www.sugarsync.com/blog/2012/03/29/for-a-limited-time-give-and-get-even-more-free-storage/
If you don't have a SugarSync account, click HERE to open one and get 5.5GB of initial free space instead of normal 5GB without a referral.
Steps to get the EXTRA 2GB:
1) Log-in to SugarSync
2) Click on "Getting Started"
3) Click on "Give 20 friends free storage, and we'll give you 2GB"
4) Choose account and choose 20 emails that SugarSync will send an e-mail (they technically don't have to be your friends...)
Note : I suggest you change your password after your log-in (just in case...)
very useful!
I get 500MB for every refferal. I have enough cloud storage already.

The title of this posts suggest that it's for people that would like to increase their storage space. If you're not interested to increase your storage space, then it was a waste of time for you to come here, read the thread and post an inefficient, impractical and most of all wasteful post.
Hmmm... Mine is too I guess
Hi there my friends trying to update her phone but it says she doesnt have enough memory and when she checks storage it says her photos take up 6gb even she only has like 40 pictures. any help would be great thanks
So I was just wondering if anyone inside of the US or any of its territories able to purchase a higher data allowance for Samsung cloud? I'm stuck with the basic 15 gig plan and have not seen nor found any method to actually upgrade this. I'm on AT&T myself. I don't know if it's carrier side same way we don't have the device maintenance antivirus or security feature.
Contact them. Phone/email

Question is, why would need more than 15 GB of storage where can:
1.just not upload your photos to their clouds. Instead, upload them to Google photos and stop it on the Samsung cloud service and free a lot of space on your phone. I doubt that your apps and documents will need more than 15 GB of storage.
2. Just use smart switch to back up your data to an external SD card.
Doing the first one, I've survived apple's iCloud's 5GB of storage. Never went past 4GB lol

Nah I use Google's services lol I just really hate not even having that option. Like if we could I probably still wouldn't but I don't like them telling me I can't and not saying why lol

Toss Samsung's Notes as they will likely leave you in a bind in the future.
S Notes cost me hours of clean up time because they weren't transferable to my 10+.
Don't need that $hit.
Using ColorNote now... still need to fully test it for restore but should work.
Critical files stored as Word docs.
Cloud? Use the SD card as a data drive. Backup to PC plus 2 more hdds. No more screwing around wasting time and battery for data to download because it's all already on the data drive... reloads are a cake walk.

The problem is when you upgrade the phone; the new Samsung SNote may not support the older saved one fully. You been warned...
Smart Switch.
