I'm just wondering how many of you are considering this phone instead of the ROG 2. I'm considering it because I believe it will have complete USA LTE band support and better development. If the North American version of Rog 2 comes out first I would definitely consider it as well but I feel ASUS doesn't release their phones for months after they announce it...such as the Zenfone 6. There is also the Red Magic 3S but it's only available in Asia.
Basically I'm considering any phone with the Snapdragon 855+
Rog Phone 2 should be widely available by next week if I'm mistaken and the international models have more bands than the China tencent models. I guess Asus was not prepared for the ZenFone 6 demand. OnePlus will have way more development. Red Magic 3 software was trash, Rog phone > rm3s pretty much every way.

I considered both but ultimately the curved screen, significantly worse battery life, and higher price tag drove me away from OnePlus.
Other options in the US for reasonably priced flagships are the Axon 10 pro and pixel 3A (if you haven't tried one of these you really should, it's shockingly good, much better than the proper pixel 3).
The oneplus pro 7t may not come to USA, but Verizon has apparently signed a contract to allow the oneplus pro 7t McLaren edition prob Jan 2020. This will be my backup in case Verizon wants to be an a hole with Asus.
i tried everything to little or no avail...
"USA HERE"
i bought the phone brand new and i finally thought to check the imei and this is what i got:
Brand: Realme
Model: RMX3151
Model Name: 8i
Blacklist Status: Clean.
but t mobile and metro's website said it is not compatible when it has a mediatek g96. i mean come on the realme website for the processor said even it had all the bands and special feature band 71. i just install mediatek's developer application and add or remove bands. also on the phone in the about phone it has an fcc certification. heard someone had a realme x2 on t mobile.
the box did say only for sale in EU. is that my poison?
anyway any help would be appreciated and bro hugged and given a cowabunga high five...
...amen...
Are the models available in the US with US carriers compatible with EU networks? I'm looking into getting one of the models available on Amazon renewed, such as LG Electronics LG V40 LM-V405UAL (VZN) or Sprint or Verizon versions. (Mod edit)
Will rooting and unlocking be possible with any carrier version? Are there versions to be avoided or preferred? I would like to end up with a custom rom eventually. Is it possible to root and unlock while running GNU/Linux? Possibly via Windows 7 on QEMU with USB passthrough?
Apropos custom roms, is the software that LG provides for cameras included in some of them? I think one of the points of the LG V series was customization of camera parameters.
Or would a renewed version of LG V50 be a much better option?
Thank you.

Hi, I recently bought a Chinese version Moto Edge S Pro, but my question is, can I change to Global ROM and where to find that ROM (Moto Edge 20 Pro)?
Thanks.
